1Porous bowl-shaped VS2 nanosheets/graphene composite for high-rate lithium-ion storage显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) layered vanadium disulfide (VS2) is a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) due to the high theoretical capacity.However,it remains a challenge to synthesize monodispersed ultrathin VS2 nanosheets to realize the full potential.Herein,a novel solvothermal method has been developed to prepare the monodispersed bowl-shaped NH3-inserted VS2 nanosheets (VS2).The formation of such a unique structure is caused by the blocked growth of (001) or (002) crystal planes in combination with a ripening process driven by the thermodynamics.The annealing treatment in Ar/H2creates porous monodispersed VS2(H-VS2),which is subsequently integrated with graphene oxide to form porous monodispersed H-VS2/rGO composite coupled with a reduction process.As an anode material for LIBs,H-VS2/rGO delivers superior rate performance and longer cycle stability:a high average capacity of 868/525 mAh g^-1 at a current density of 1/10 A g^-1;a reversible capacity of 1177/889 mAh g^-1 after 150/500 cycles at 0.2/1 A g^-1.Such excellent electrochemical performance may be attributed to the increased active sites available for lithium storage,the alleviated volume variations and the shortened Li-ion diffusion induced from the porous structure with large specific surface area,as well as the protective effect from graphene nanosheets.Daxiong Wu Caiyun Wang Mingguang Wu Yunfeng Chao Pengbin He Jianmin Ma 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:11
2Electrospun Sb2Se3@C nanofibers with excellent lithium storage properties显示文摘Antimony-based materials have become promising anodes within lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their low cost and the high theoretical capacity.However,there is a potential to further enhance the electrochemical performance of such antimony-based materials.Herein,Sb2Se3@C nanofibers(Sb2Se3@CNFs)are designed and obtained via a novel electrospinning method.Upon electrochemically testing as an anode within LIBs,the Sb2Se3@CNFs(annealed at 600℃)delivers a remarkably good cycling performance of 625 mAh/g at 100 mA/g after 100 cycles.Moreover,it still remains at 490 mAh/g after 500 cycles with an applied current density of 1.0 A/g.The excellent performance of the Sb2 Se3@CNFs can be attributed to the fact that the N-doped C matrices not only remit the volume expansion of materials,but also enhance the electrical and ionic conductivity thusly increasing the lithium-ion diffusion.The obtained Sb2Se3@CNFs are promising anode for LIBs in the future.Yan Dong Yuezhan Feng Jiwei Deng Pengbin He Jianmin Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:4
3Using unmanned aerial vehicles with thermal-image acquisition cameras for animal surveys:a case study on the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey in the Qinling Mountains显示文摘Following significant developments in technology,alternative devices have been applied in fieldwork for ani­mal and plant surveys.Thermal-image acquisition cameras installed on unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been used in animal surveys in the wilderness.This article demonstrates an example of how UAVs can be used in high mountainous regions,presenting a case study on the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey with a detection rate of 65.19%for positive individual identification.It also presents a model that can prospectively predict popula­tion size for a given animal species,which is based on combined initial work using UAVs and traditional sur­veys on the ground.A great potential advantage of UAVs is significantly shortening survey procedures,particu­larly for areas with high mountains and plateaus,such as the Himalayas,the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,Hengduan Mountains,the Yunnan-Gui Plateau and Qinling Mountains in China,where carrying out a traditional survey is extremely difficult,so that species and population surveys,particularly for critically endangered animals,are largely absent.This lack of data has impacted the management of endangered animals as well as the formulation and amendment of conservation strategies.Gang HE Haitao YANG Ruliang PAN Yewen SUN Pengbin ZHENG Jinghua WANG Xuelin JIN Jingjie ZHANG Baoguo LI Songtao GUO 2020Integrative Zoology2020,15,1:2
4Demonstration of a manufacturable SOT-MRAM multiplexer array towards industrial applications显示文摘We have successfully demonstrated a 1 Kb spin-orbit torque(SOT)magnetic random-access memory(MRAM)multiplexer(MUX)array with remarkable performance.The 1 Kb MUX array exhibits an in-die function yield of over 99.6%.Additionally,it provides a sufficient readout window,with a TMR/RP_sigma%value of 21.4.Moreover,the SOT magnetic tunnel junctions(MTJs)in the array show write error rates as low as 10^(-6)without any ballooning effects or back-hopping behaviors,ensuring the write stability and reliability.This array achieves write operations in 20 ns and 1.2 V for an industrial-level temperature range from-40 to 125℃.Overall,the demonstrated array shows competitive specifications compared to the state-of-the-art works.Our work paves the way for the industrial-scale production of SOT-MRAM,moving this technology beyond R&D and towards widespread adoption.Chuanpeng Jiang Jinhao Li Hongchao Zhang Shiyang Lu Pengbin Li Chao Wang Zhongkui Zhang Zhengyi Hou Xu Liu Jiagao Feng He Zhang Hui Jin Gefei Wang Hongxi Liu Kaihua Cao Zhaohao Wang Weisheng Zhao 2023Journal of Semiconductors2023,44,12:0
