1Structural Engineering of Hierarchical Aerogels Comprised of Multi-dimensional Gradient Carbon Nanoarchitectures for Highly Efficient Microwave Absorption显示文摘Recently,multilevel structural carbon aerogels are deemed as attractive candidates for microwave absorbing materials.Nevertheless,excessive stack and agglomeration for low-dimension carbon nanomaterials inducing impedance mismatch are significant challenges.Herein,the delicate“3D helix-2D sheet-1D fiber-0D dot”hierarchical aerogels have been successfully synthesized,for the first time,by sequential processes of hydrothermal self-assembly and in-situ chemical vapor deposition method.Particularly,the graphene sheets are uniformly intercalated by 3D helical carbon nanocoils,which give a feasible solution to the mentioned problem and endows the as-obtained aerogel with abundant porous structures and better dielectric properties.Moreover,by adjusting the content of 0D core-shell structured particles and the parameters for growth of the 1D carbon nanofibers,tunable electromagnetic properties and excellent impedance matching are achieved,which plays a vital role in the microwave absorption performance.As expected,the optimized aerogels harvest excellent performance,including broad effective bandwidth and strong reflection loss at low filling ratio and thin thickness.This work gives valuable guidance and inspiration for the design of hierarchical materials comprised of dimensional gradient structures,which holds great application potential for electromagnetic wave attenuation.Yongpeng Zhao Xueqing Zuo Yuan Guo Hui Huang Hao Zhang Ting Wang Ningxuan Wen Huan Chen Tianze Cong Javid Muhammad Xuan Yang Xinnan Wang Zeng Fan Lujun Pan 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,9:5
2Growth of Carbon Nanocoils by Porous α-Fe2O3/SnO2 Catalyst and Its Buckypaper for High Efficient Adsorption显示文摘High-purity(99%)carbon nanocoils(CNCs)have been synthesized by using porousα-Fe2O3/SnO2 catalyst.The yield of CNCs reaches 9,098%after a 6 h growth.This value is much higher than the previously reported data,indicating that this method is promising to synthesize high-purity CNCs on a large scale.It is considered that an appropriate proportion of Fe and Sn,proper particle size distribution,and a loose-porous aggregate structure of the catalyst are the key points to the high-purity growth of CNCs.Benefiting from the high-purity preparation,a CNC Buckypaper was successfully prepared and the electrical,mechanical,and electrochemical properties were investigated comprehensively.Furthermore,as one of the practical applications,the CNC Buckypaper was successfully utilized as an efficient adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue dye from wastewater with an adsorption efficiency of 90.9%.This study provides a facile and economical route for preparing high-purity CNCs,which is suitable for large-quantity production.Furthermore,the fabrication of macroscopic CNC Buckypaper provides promising alternative of adsorbent or other practical applications.Yongpeng Zhao Jianzhen Wang Hui Huang Tianze Cong Shuaitao Yang Huan Chen Jiaqi Qin Muhammad Usman Zeng Fan Lujun Pan 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,2:3
3A novel technique for measuring 3D deformation of adhesively bonded single lap joint显示文摘An easy-to-implement yet practical single-camera microscopic stereo-digital image correlation(stereo-DIC) technique is proposed for surface three-dimensional(3D) deformation measurement of singe lap joint(SLJ) samples subjected to mechanical loads. The basic principles, optical configurations and implementation procedures of the proposed technique are described in detail. Compared with existing single-camera 2D-DIC technique, which has been regularly used for in-plane deformation measurement of a SLJ specimen, the proposed technique offers the special merit of simultaneously determining all the three displacement components by simply adding two additional optical elements to existing single-camera 2D-DIC systems. 5Modal analysis of subway tunnel in soft soil during operation显示文摘Modal parameters are of great significance in civil engineering because they can characterize the properties of structures and be used for vibration control and structural health monitoring.Subway tunnels are long linear truss structures combined with the mutual cou-pling of the surrounding soil.Therefore,the operational modal analysis of a mutual coupling tunnel is complicate,as is the modal iden-tification of shield tunnels in a time–frequency domain,and these are hot civil engineering topics.Using the shield tunnel of Shanghai metro line No.12 project as a case study,we carried out the vibration response monitoring of a subway tunnel during operation and presented methods to identify structural modal parameters.The modal parameters of lower vibration modes were estimated using response measurements.Modal frequencies and shapes were identified with high precision and accuracy using the orthogonal polynomial clustering algorithm under hammer excitation conditions and the autoregressive-moving-average model under ambient excitation con-ditions.The dynamic behavior of a mutual coupling tunnel presented obvious low frequency characteristics,and the first 9th order mode frequencies were less than 100 Hz.The diagonal values of the modal assurance criteria were all greater than 0.85.The modal parameters can be used for the health monitoring of operational subway tunnels.Ling Wan Xiongyao Xie Lujun Wang Pan Li Qiang Huang 2023Underground Space2023,,1:0
