1Enteral nutrition in acute pancreatitis:A review of the current evidence显示文摘The use of enteral feeding as part of the management of acute pancreatitis dates back almost two decades.This review describes the indications for and limitations of enteral feeding for the treatment of acute pancreatitis using up-to-date evidence-based data.A systematic review was carried out to analyse current data on the use of enteral nutrition in the management of acute pancreatitis.Relevant literature was analysed from the viewpoints of enteral vs parenteral feeding,early vs delayed enteral nutrition,nasogastric vs nasojejunal feeding,and early oral diet and immunonutrition,particularly glutamine and probiotic supplementation.Finally,current applicable guidelines and the effects of these guidelines on clinical practice are discussed.The latest meta-analyses suggest that enteral nutrition significantly reduces the mortality rate of severe acute pancreatitis compared to parenteral feeding.To maintain gut barrier function and prevent early bacterial translocation,enteral feeding should be commenced within the first 24 h of hospital admission.Also,the safety of nasogastric feeding,which eases the administration of enteral nutrients in the clinical setting,is likely equal to nasojejunal feeding.Furthermore,an earlylow-fat oral diet is potentially beneficial in patients with mild pancreatitis.Despite the initial encouraging results,the current evidence does not support the use of immunoenhanced nutrients or probiotics in patients with acute pancreatitis.Attila Oláh Laszlo Romics Jr 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,43:81
2Modulatory effect of pineapple peel extract on lipid peroxidation,catalase activity and hepatic biomarker levels in blood plasma of alcoholinduced oxidative stressed rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the ability of the methanolic extract of pineapple peel to modulate alcohol-induced lipid peroxidation,changes in catalase activities and hepatic biochemical marker levels in blood plasma.Methods:Oxidative stress was induced by oral administration of ethanol(20%w/v) at a dosage of 5 niL/kg bw in rats.After 28 days of treatment,the rats were fasted overnight and sacrificed by cervical dislocation.Blood was collected with a 2 mL syringe by cardiac puncture and was centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 10 min.The plasma was analyzed to evaluate malondialdehyde(MDA),catalase activity,aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) concentrations.Results:Administration of alcohol caused a drastic increase(87.74%) in MDA level compared with the control.Pineapple peel extract significantly reduced the MDA level by 60.16%at 2.S mL/kg bw.Rats fed alcohol only had the highest catalase activity,treatment with pineapple peel extract at 2.5 mL/kg bw however, reduced the activity.Increased AST,ALP and ALT activities were observed in rats fed alcohol only respectively,treatment with pineapple peel extract drastically reduced their activities. 3Studies of the Genotoxicity of Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA)显示文摘The following experiments were conducted to evaluate the genotoxic effects of GMA (glycidyl methacrylale) on mammalian and human cells.(1) Using the absorption spectrum shift method in vitro, we observed that the maximums of calf thymus DNA and GMA were shifted toward longer wavelengths (a change of more than 15nm) and the absorbance decreased after incubation at room temperature for 15min or more.The result indicates that binding of DNA and GMA had occurred.The binding force is strong, not affected by the addition of concentrated sodium chloride solution, and only slightly decreased by the addition of 8 M urea solution.Therefore the bond between DNA and GMA might be covalent.(2) In cell cultures, unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) in human and/or rat lymphocyte was induced and DNA semiconserva-tive replication was inhibited by GMA at concentrations of less than 5.2 mM.(3) Sperm abnormality tests and assays of UDS in germ cells of male mice were conducted to study the in vivo genotoxicity of GMA.The results revealed that GMA could damage DNA, increase sperm abnormality frequency, and reduce the number of sperm cells, 1990 Academic Press.Inc.DAYING XIE, WEI ZHANG, LAIFU CAO, WENQING SUN, ZHONGSHENG LI, QING GAO, YILI WU, HUILAN GAO, HUIFANG YANG, JIM ZUO,~* AND FUDE FANG~* Institute oF Occupational Medicine. 4氧化镁上乙酸乙酯和乙酸丁酯氧化反应(英文)显示文摘采用新型无溶剂反应和回流的方法制得锰钾矿型氧化镁(K-OMS-2),同时采用常规方法制得氧化镁,并测试不同催化剂对工业排放气中有机挥发性物质(VOCs)中的模型化合物––乙酸乙酯和乙酸丁酯的催化氧性能.采用N2吸附-脱附、X射线衍射、扫描电镜、程序升温还原和X射线光电子能谱等技术对催化剂进行了表征.所有氧化镁样品均表现出很高的催化乙酸乙酯和乙酸丁酯氧化生成CO2的活性,且制备方法对催化剂性能起着重要作用.新型无溶剂法制得的K-OMS-2纳米棒样品比常规的回流法制得样品表现出更好的催化性能,含锰钾矿型氧化镁的样品比常规方法制得样品表现出更高的活性.性能最好的催化剂也表现出较高的稳定性,在213和202 oC条件下,可分别使90%的乙酸乙酯和乙酸丁酯转化为CO2.催化剂性能的显著差异清楚地表明,对于所选VOCs氧化反应,采用新型无溶剂法制得的K-OMS-2纳米棒样品比常规法制备的氧化镁混合物更好,这可能与样品结构中含有更高的Mn平均氧化态有关.本文表明了催化剂性能与其表面化学性质间存在显著的关联,显示了K-OMS-2内在性质决定了其高的催化性能.Olívia Salomé G.P.Soares Raquel P.Rocha Jose J.M.Orfao Manuel F.R.Pereira José L.Figueiredo 2018Chinese Journal of Catalysis2018,39,1:2
