| 2 | 在甲状腺的乳突的癌的颅骨转移: 一份案例报告显示文摘 Papillary thyroid carcinoma with metastasis to the skull is extremely rare.We report a case of unsuspected papillary thyroid carcinoma with skull metastasis.A 48-year-old female patient presenting with painless,pulsatile,progressively increasing swelling in the occipitoparietal region of the scalp approached for an X-ray of the skull.Ultrasound of palpable swelling in the neck revealed a heteroechoic lesion with increased vascularity.Foci of calcification were seen involving both lobes of the thyroid.Ultrasound of scalp showed a destructive mass in the skull with increased vascularity.Biopsy of thyroid lesions revealed branching papillae having a dense fibrovascular core covered by cuboidal epithelial cells with nuclei having a clear ground glass appearance.This case illustrates how isolated extensive skull metastasis can be found in papillary carcinoma patients without causing significant morbidity.Therefore,in the clinical course of thyroid papillary carcinoma,skull metastasis should be considered,and the patients should be meticulously investigated and followed up. | Akshay Nigam Ajay K Singh Sanjeev K Singh Neelima Singh | 2012 | World Journal of Radiology2012，4，6： | 3 |
| 3 | Realization of the first sub-shot-noise wide field microscope显示文摘Recently,several proof of principle experiments have demonstrated the advantages of quantum technologies over classical schemes.The present challenge is to surpass the limits of proof of principle demonstrations to approach real applications.This letter presents such an achievement in the field of quantum enhanced imaging.In particular,we describe the realization of a sub-shot-noise wide field microscope based on spatially multi-mode non-classical photon number correlations in twin beams.The microscope produces realtime images of 8000 pixels at full resolution,for a 500μm2 field of view,with noise reduced to 80%of the shot noise level(for each pixel),which is suitable for absorption imaging of complex structures.By fast post-elaboration,specifically applying a quantum enhanced median filter,the noise can be further reduced(to o30%of the shot noise level)by setting a trade-off with the resolution,thus achieving the best sensitivity per incident photon reported in absorption microscopy. | Nigam Samantaray Ivano Ruo-Berchera Alice Meda Marco Genovese | 2017 | Light(Science & Applications)2017，6，1： | 3 |

| 8 | Linkage between Seasonal Insolation Gradient in the Tropical Northern Hemisphere and the Sea Surface Salinity of the Equatorial Indian Ocean during the Last Glacial Period显示文摘Paired stable oxygen isotope and Mg/Ca analyses in calcite tests of the mixed-layer-dwelling planktic foraminifer Globigerinoides ruber has been used to reconstruct equatorial Indian Oceanδ18O of seawater (δ18Osw ) over the last ~137 thousand years. On the basis of ice-volume-corrected δ18Osw (δ18Osw-ivc ), relative changes in sea surface salinity (SSS) have been estimated. The SSS estimates suggest three episodes of higher SSS (131-113 thousand years before present (kyr BP), 62-58 kyr BP, and 30-24 kyr BP) within the last glacial period as compared with the present. SSS comparison between interglacial episodes reveals that the surface seawater over the core site was significantly saltier during the penultimate interglacial than the Holocene. We suggest that the evolution of a seasonal insolation gradient between the Indian monsoon areas and the equator over the investigated time interval was instrumental in shaping the strength of the Indian winter and summer monsoons that left their imprints on the equatorial Indian Ocean SSS via freshwater input and wind-induced mixing.
