2一种通过视频片段进行视频检索的方法显示文摘视频片段检索是基于内容的视频检索的主要方式,它需要解决两个问题:(1)从视频库里自动分割出与查询片段相似的多个片段;(2)按照相似度从高到低排列这些相似片段。首次尝试运用图论的匹配理论来解决这两个 问题。针对问题(l),把检索过程分为两个阶段:镜头检索和片段检索。在镜头检索阶段,利用相机运动信息,一个变化较大的镜头被划分为几个内容一致的子镜头,两个镜头的相似性通过对应子镜头的相似性计算得到;在片段检索阶段,通过考察相似镜头的连续性初步得到一个个相似片段,再运用最大匹配的Hungarian算法来确定真正的相似片段。针对问题(2),考虑了片段相似性判断的视觉、粒度、顺序和干扰因子,提出用最优匹配的Kuhn-Munkres算法和动态规划算法相结合,来解决片段相似度的度量问题。实验对比结果表明,所提出的方法在片段检索中可以取得更高的检索精度和更快的检索速度。彭宇新 Ngo Chong-Wah 董庆杰 郭宗明 肖建国 2003软件学报2003,14,8:25
3Robotic surgery for rectal cancer: A systematic review of current practice显示文摘AIM: To give a comprehensive review of current litera-ture on robotic rectal cancer surgery.METHODS: A systematic review of current literature via PubMed and Embase search engines was per-formed to identify relevant articles from january 2007 to november 2013. The keywords used were: 'robotic surgery', 'surgical robotics', 'laparoscopic computer-assisted surgery', 'colectomy' and 'rectal resection'. RESULTS: After the initial screen of 380 articles, 20 pa-pers were selected for review. A total of 1062 patients(male 64.0%) with a mean age of 61.1 years and body mass index of 24.9 kg/m2 were included in the review.Out of 1062 robotic-assisted operations, 831(78.2%) anterior and low anterior resections, 132(12.4%) in-tersphincteric resection with coloanal anastomosis, 98(9.3%) abdominoperineal resections and 1(0.1%) Hart-mann's operation were included in the review. Robotic rectal surgery was associated with longer operative time but with comparable oncological results and anastomotic leak rate when compared with laparoscopic rectal surgery. CONCLUSION: Robotic colorectal surgery has con-tinued to evolve to its current state with promising re-sults; feasible surgical option with low conversion rate and comparable short-term oncological results. 4Evaluation of deep learning algorithms for national scale landslide susceptibility mapping of Iran显示文摘The identification of landslide-prone areas is an essential step in landslide hazard assessment and mitigation of landslide-related losses.In this study,we applied two novel deep learning algorithms,the recurrent neural network(RNN)and convolutional neural network(CNN),for national-scale landslide susceptibility mapping of Iran.We prepared a dataset comprising 4069 historical landslide locations and 11 conditioning factors(altitude,slope degree,profile curvature,distance to river,aspect,plan curvature,distance to road,distance to fault,rainfall,geology and land-sue)to construct a geospatial database and divided the data into the training and the testing dataset.We then developed RNN and CNN algorithms to generate landslide susceptibility maps of Iran using the training dataset.We calculated the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and used the area under the curve(AUC)for the quantitative evaluation of the landslide susceptibility maps using the testing dataset.Better performance in both the training and testing phases was provided by the RNN algorithm(AUC=0.88)than by the CNN algorithm(AUC=0.85).Finally,we calculated areas of susceptibility for each province and found that 6%and 14%of the land area of Iran is very highly and highly susceptible to future landslide events,respectively,with the highest susceptibility in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province(33.8%).About 31%of cities of Iran are located in areas with high and very high landslide susceptibility.The results of the present study will be useful for the development of landslide hazard mitigation strategies.Phuong Thao Thi Ngo Mahdi Panahi Khabat Khosravi Omid Ghorbanzadeh Narges Kariminejad Artemi Cerda Saro Lee 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2:13

6How significant is the association between metabolic syndrome and prevalence of colorectal neoplasia?显示文摘The incidence and prevalence of metabolic syndrome(MS) and colorectal cancer(CRC) has been rising in developed countries. The association between these two diseases has been widely studied and reported. Less evidence is available about the relationship between MS and CRC precancerous lesions(adenomatous polyps, adenomas). The aim of this paper is to present an overview of our scientific understanding of that topic and its implication in clinical practice. One of the principal goals of current CRC secondary prevention efforts is to detect and remove the precancerous lesions in individuals with an average CRC risk to prevent the development of invasive cancer. MS is not currently considered a high-risk CRC factor and is therefore not included in the guidelines of organized screening programs. However, in light of growing scientific evidence, the approach to patients with MS should be changed. Metabolic risk factors for the development of adenomas and cancers are the same- obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, dyslipidemia, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus type 2. Therefore, the key issue in the near future is the development of a simple scoring system, easy to use in clinical practice, which would identify individuals with high metabolic risk of colorectal neoplasia and would be used for individual CRC secondary prevention strategies. 7Dynamic membrane bioreactor performance enhancement by powdered activated carbon addition:Evaluation of sludge morphological,aggregative and microbial properties显示文摘The effects of powdered activated carbon(PAC) addition on sludge morphological, aggregative and microbial properties in a dynamic membrane bioreactor(DMBR) were investigated to explore the enhancement mechanism of pollutants removal and filtration performance. Sludge properties were analyzed through various analytical measurements. The results showed that the improved sludge aggregation ability and the evolution of microbial communities affected sludge morphology in PAC-DMBR, as evidenced by the formation of large, regularly shaped and strengthened sludge flocs. The modifications of sludge characteristics promoted the formation process and filtration flux of the dynamic membrane(DM) layer. Additionally, PAC addition did not exert very significant influence on the propagation of eukaryotes(protists and metazoans)and microbial metabolic activity. High-throughput pyrosequencing results indicated that adding PAC improved the bacterial diversity in activated sludge, as PAC addition brought about additional microenvironment in the form of biological PAC(BPAC), which promoted the enrichment of Acinetobacter(13.9%), Comamonas(2.9%), Flavobacterium(0.31%) and Pseudomonas(0.62%), all contributing to sludge flocs formation and several(such as Acinetobacter) capable of biodegrading relatively complex organics. 9An air quality forecasting system in Beijing-Application to the study of dust storm events in China in May 2008显示文摘An air pollution forecast system,ARIA Regional,was implemented in 2007-2008 at the Beijing Municipality Environmental Monitoring Center,providing daily forecast of main pollutant concentrations.The chemistry-transport model CHIMERE was coupled with the dust emission model MB95 for restituting dust storm events in springtime so as to improve forecast results.Dust storm events were sporadic but could be extremely intense and then control air quality indexes close to the source areas but also far in the Beijing area.A dust episode having occurred at the end of May 2008 was analyzed in this article,and its impact of particulate matter on the Chinese air pollution index (API) was evaluated.Following our estimation,about 23 Tg of dust were emitted from source areas in Mongolia and in the Inner Mongolia of China,transporting towards southeast.This episode of dust storm influenced a large part of North China and East China,and also South Korea.The model result was then evaluated using satellite observations and in situ data.The simulated daily concentrations of total suspended particulate at 6:00 UTC had a similar spatial pattern with respect to OMI satellite aerosol index.Temporal evolution of dust plume was evaluated by comparing dust aerosol optical depth (AOD) calculated from the simulations with AOD derived from MODIS satellite products.Finally,the comparison of reported Chinese API in Beijing with API calculated from the simulation including dust emissions had showed the significant improvement of the model results taking into accountmineral dust correctly.Benoit Laurent Fanny Velay-Lasry Richard Ngo Claude Derognat Batrice Marticorena Armand Albergel 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,1:9

13Effect of Land Use Change on Runoff and Sediment Yield in Da River Basin of Hoa Binh province, Northwest Vietnam显示文摘The objective of this study was to assess runoff discharge and sediment yield from Da River Basin in the Northwest of Vietnam using Soil and Water Assessment Tools(SWAT) model.The SWAT model was calibrated and validated using the observed monthly stream flows and sediment yield at selected gauging stations.The results indicated that SWAT generally performs well in simulating runoff and sediment yield according to Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE), Observation's standard deviation ratio(RSR), and percent bias(PBIAS) values.For runoff, the values of NSE, RSR, and PBIAS were 0.98,0.02, and 3.69 during calibration period and 0.99,0.01, and 1.56 during validation period, respectively.For sediment yield, the efficiency was lower than the value of NSE, RSR, and PBIAS during calibration period were 0.81, 0.19, and-4.14 and 0.84, 0.16, and-2.56 during validation period, respectively.The results of the study indicated that the vegetation status has a significant impact on runoff and sediment yield.Changes in land use type between 1995 and2005 from forest to field crop and urban strongly contributed to increasing the average annual runoff from 182.5 to 342.7 mm and sediment yield from101.3 to 148.1 ton-1 ha.Between 2005 and 2010, adecrease of both runoff(from 342.7 to 167.6 mm) and sediment yield(from 148.1 to 74.0 ton-1 ha) was due to the expansion of forested area and application of soil conservation practices.The results of this study are important for developing soil and water conservation programs, extending future SWAT modelling studies and disseminating these results to other regions in Vietnam.NGO Thanh Son NGUYEN Duy Binh Rajendra Prasad SHRESTHA 2015Journal of Mountain Science2015,12,4:6
14Quality of life after laparoscopic vs open sphincter-preserving resection for rectal cancer显示文摘AIM: To compare quality of life (QoL) outcomes in Chinese patients after curative laparoscopic vs open surgery for rectal cancer. METHODS: Eligible Chinese patients with rectal cancer undergoing curative laparoscopic or open sphincterpreserving resection between July 2006 and July 2008 were enrolled in this prospective study. The QoL outcomes were assessed longitudinally using the validated Chinese versions of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer QLQ-C30 and QLQCR38 questionnaires before surgery and at 4, 8, and 12 mo after surgery. The QoL scores at the different time points were compared between the laparoscopic and open groups. A higher score on a functional scale indicated better functioning, whereas a higher score on a symptom scale indicated a higher degree of symptoms.RESULTS: Seventy-four patients (49 laparoscopic and 25 open) were enrolled. The two groups of patients were comparable in terms of sociodemographic data, types of surgery, tumor staging, and baseline mean QoL scores. There was no significant decrease from baseline in global QoL for the laparoscopic group at different time points, whereas the global QoL was worse compared to baseline beginning at 4 mo but returned to baseline by 12 mo for the open group (P = 0.019, Friedman test). Compared to the open group, the laparoscopic group had significantly better physical (89.9±1.4 vs 79.2±3.7, P = 0.016), role (85.0±3.4 vs 63.3±6.9, P = 0.005), and cognitive (73.5±3.4 vs 50.7±6.2, P = 0.002) functioning at 8 mo, fewer micturition problems at 4-8 mo (4 mo: 32.3±4.7 vs 54.7±7.1, P = 0.011; 8 mo: 22.8±4.0 vs 40.7±6.9, P = 0.020), and fewer male sexual problems from 8 mo onward (20.0±8.5 vs 76.7±14.5, P = 0.013). At 12 mo after surgery, no significant differences were observed in any functional or symptom scale between the two groups, with the exception of male sexual problems, which remained worse in the open group (29.2±11.3 vs 80.0±9.7, P = 0.026). CONCLUSION: Laparoscopic sphincter-preserving resection for rectal cancer is associated with better preservation of QoL and fewer male sexual problems when compared with open surgery in Chinese patients. 16Applicability and variability of liver stiffness measurements according to probe position显示文摘AIM: To investigate the liver stiffness measurement (LSM) applicability and variability with reference to three probe positions according to the region of liver biopsy. METHODS: The applicability for LSM was defined as at least 10 valid measurements with a success rate greater than 60% and an interquartile range/median LSM < 30%. The LSM variability compared the inter-position concordance and the concordance with FibroTest. RESULTS: Four hundred and forty two consecutive patients were included. The applicability of the anterior position (81%) was significantly higher than that of the reference (69%) and lower positions (68%), (both P = 0.0001). There was a signif icant difference (0.5 kPa, 95% CI 0.13-0.89; P < 0.0001) between mean LSM estimated at the reference position (9.3 kPa) vs the anterior position (8.8 kPa). Discordance between positions was associated with thoracic fold (P = 0.008). 18FujiⅦ预防正畸患者釉质脱矿的临床评价显示文摘目的 评价并探讨FujiⅦ预防固定正畸过程中釉质脱矿的有效性.方法 选择于吉林大学口腔医院正畸科就诊并需戴用固定矫治器的患者30例,男10例,女20例,年龄范围11~13岁.采用投币法将所需观察的牙齿随机分为实验侧与对照侧.在正畸托槽粘结后于实验侧的上颌侧切牙、尖牙、第一双尖牙/第二双尖牙托槽周围1.5mm范围处涂布FujiⅦ,对照侧不涂.于初戴、矫治后1、3、6及9个月时应用专业数码相机拍摄口内彩色照片,观察实验侧与对照侧各牙位脱矿的变化,记录每个患者矫治不同时段牙面各区域的釉质脱矿指数(enamel decalcification index,EDI).应用SPSS11.5统计学软件进行统计学分析.结果 对照侧平均EDI在矫治1个月时为0.256,3个月时为0.358,6个月时为0.394,9个月时为0.350;而实验侧平均釉质脱矿指数在矫治1个月时为0.194,3个月时为0.222,6个月时为0.186,9个月时为0.144.以上数据表明实验侧平均釉质脱矿指数在矫治后1、3、6及9个月明显低于对照侧(P<0.05).实验侧发生的釉质脱矿程度轻于对照侧,重度脱矿的出现明显少于对照侧.结论 FujiⅦ对固定正畸过程中患者的釉质脱矿具有一定的积极预防作用,但尚不能完全阻止釉质脱矿的发生发展.贾亚梅 Hien C Ngo 徐焱 候旭 孙新华 2013中华口腔正畸学杂志2013,20,3:5
19A framework for a microscale flood damage assessment and visualization for a building using BIM-GIS integration显示文摘Flood damage assessment(FDA)is a key component of risk-based method for flood management.In the current FDA approaches,generally the uniqueness of the building is disregarded in the analysis.Therefore,they are unfit for detailed applications in which case-by-case analysis of building damage is an essential requirement.This limitation is compounded by the use of incomplete and often low-quality data inputs about the building and the assumptions and approximations made regarding the geometry and materials of its components.Such shortcomings may result in incomplete and uncertain outcomes.Considering the benefits and increasing use of three-dimensional(3D)urban modeling and Building Information Model in various urban management processes,in this paper,an integrated framework for utilization of detailed 3D building models for the assessment and 3D visualization of flood damage to building according to its distinct behavior against flood is presented.A proof-ofconcept demonstration of the framework in a case study underlined the feasibility of implementation of the framework,which can potentially benefit a variety of users and be used as a complementary approach to the current FDA methods for improving the resilience of the community toward floods and their adverse impacts.Sam Amirebrahimi Abbas Rajabifard Priyan Mendis Tuan Ngo 2016International Journal of Digital Earth2016,9,4:5
