4Economic Impacts of Clinical and Sub Clinical Mastitis on Dairy Farms显示文摘Studies have reported on the economic impacts of clinical and subclinical mastitis on dairy farms.Bovine mastitis is a disorder that affects dairy farms and has a major economic impact.Most of the economic losses are the result of mastitis.Mastitis is an invasive infection that is among the most numerous and highly complicated infections in the dairy sector.Mastitis is one of the most expensive diseases in terms of production losses among animal diseases.Mastitis reduces milk production,changes milk composition,and shortens the productive life of infected cows.Farmers must concentrate on avoiding mastitis infection whilst putting in place and following a mastitis control programed.Bovine mastitis,the most significant disease of dairy herds,has huge effects on farm economics.Mastitis losses are due to reduced milk production,the cost of treatments,and culling.Major factors related to low milk yield could be low genetic potential as well as poor nutritional and managerial approaches.Most of the losses are related to somatic cell count(SCC),which is characterised by an increase in the percentage of milk.Culling costs are the costs of rearing or buying a replacement animal,mostly heifers.Overhead impacts include the replacement animals'lower milk supply effectiveness.The expense of replacing animals prematurely due to mastitis is one of the most significant areas of economic loss.Muhammad Shafeeq Afshan Muneer Amjad Islam Aqib Nimra Kirn 2021Veterinary Science Research2021,3,2:0
5Epidemiology and Antibiotic Susceptibility Profile of Methicillin Sensitive Staphylococcus aureus among Livestock and Pet Animals显示文摘Staphylococcus aureus is an important zoonotic pathogen that is responsible for a variety of infectious diseases in humans and animals.The present study was designed to check the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of MSSA from three different animal origins(bovine,caprine and pet).A total of n=450 samples(150 each source)were collected from bovine,caprine and pets.Collected samples were subjected to S.aureus identification by microbiological examination and confirmed S.aureus isolates were put to oxacillin disk diffusion test to declare them MSSA.The MSSA confirmed isolates were subjected to various antibiotics for susceptibility profiling using Kirby Bauer Disk Diffusion test.The present study found higher prevalence of MSSA from caprine origin(goat 83.33%)as compared to pet(cat 69.33%;dog 65.33%)and bovine origin(buffalo 26.66%;cattle 31.66%).The in-vitro findings of current study revealed oxytetracycline and gentamicin presented 100%efficacy against MSSA of all origins while the vancomycin presented>35%,>40%and>65%resistance against MSSA isolated from bovine,caprine and pet origin respectively.However,ciprofloxacin was equally effective(50%)against MSSA from buffalo and cattle while>80%efficacy was noted against MSSA from cat and dogs.Linezolid and amoxicillin+clavulanic acid were 77.78%and 66.67%sensitive to MSSA isolates from caprine milk.The present study found higher prevalence of MSSA from bovine,caprine and pet isolates with diversified pattern of susceptibility of different antibiotics from all sources.Muhammad Aamir Naseer Amjad Islam Aqib Muhammad Shoaib Iqra Muzammil Zeeshan Ahmad Bhutta Iqra Gulzar 2020Veterinary Science Research2020,2,1:0
6Efficient Construction of a Polyaniline-coated DNA Nanoparticle for Photothermal Therapy显示文摘Photothermal therapy is a direct and non-invasive therapeutic strategy.Herein,we report a general strategy for the construction of polyaniline-coated DNA nanoparticles for efficient photothermal therapy.In our design,two G4/hemin-based DNAzymes are precisely organized in a DNA template to mimic the function of horseradish peroxidase(HRP)for the catalytic oxidation of aniline.After polymerization,the polyaniline-coated DNA nanoparticles(PANI/DNA NPs)can be efficiently obtained as the photothermal agent to elicit a pronounced photothermal effect.After cellular uptake,the noticeable photothermal effect from 808 nm laser irradiation can achieve an efficient proliferation inhibition of tumor cells.This rationally developed photothermal agent based on DNA template-assisted polymerization presents a new avenue for the development of photothermal therapy.AQIB Raja Muhammad YANG Changping WU Xiaohui WANG Yuang FAN Jing SHANG Yingxu LIU Jianbing DING Baoquan 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6:0
7Under the influence of crowding effects:Stability,bifurcation and chaos control for a discrete-time predator-prey model显示文摘The interaction between predators and preys exhibits more complicated behavior under the influence of crowding effects. By taking into account the crowding effects, the qualitative behavior of a prey-predator model is investigated. Particularly, we examine the boundedness as well as existence and uniqueness of positive steady-state and stability analysis of the unique positive steady-state. Moreover, it is also proved that the system undergoes Hopf bifurcation and flip bifurcation with the help of bifurcation theory. Moreover, a chaos control technique is proposed for controlling chaos under the influence of bifurcations. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the theoretical results. These results of numerical simulations demonstrate chaotic long-term behavior over a broad range of parameters. 8Alterations in Quality Parameters of Mastitic Milk显示文摘Quality milk production in modern dairy systems is facing many challenges.Salient in them is mastitis which is responsible for decline in milk production,altered milk composition and compromised udder health.The malaise consists of multiple bacterial etiologies which can be broadly classified into contagious pathogens and environmental pathogens S.aureus is being isolated invariably in all epidemiological studies,followed by E.coli.Pathogenic virulence in mastitis is often accounted due to microbial ability of producing wide array of virulence factors that enhances pathogenicity and sustainment potential in the epithelial linings of udder.Mastitis affects quality parameters of milk i.e.constitutional as well as mineral profile due to local damage and inflammatory mediators.It decreases the lactose secretion because of oxidative stress generated due to the formation of free radicals in the milk.In mastitic milk,IgG2 becomes the predominant antibody which is thought to be the main opsonin supporting neutrophil phagocytosis in the bovine mammary gland.Therefore,it plays a significant role in the battle against mastitis pathogens.Mastitis infected cow shows a notable elevated level of the sodium and chloride and demoted level of calcium,potassium and inorganic phosphorus.In micro minerals,mastitis effects are pretty much same as in most macro minerals i.e.lower down their concentration in milk secretion.Consistent preventive strategy alongside strict surveillance and biosecurity is recommended for combating this challenge.Maria Azam Muhammad Aamir Naseer Kiran Mumtaz Iqra Muzammil KhazeenaAtta Rais Ahmed Amjad Islam Aqib 2020Veterinary Science Research2020,2,2:0

10Engineered Nano−Bio Interfaces for Stem Cell Therapy显示文摘Engineered nanomaterials(ENMs)with different topographies provide effective nano−bio interfaces for controlling the differentiation of stem cells.The interaction of stem cells with nanoscale topographies and chemical cues in their microenvironment at the nano−bio interface can guide their fate.The use of nanotopographical cues,in particular nanorods,nanopillars,nanogrooves,nanofibers,and nanopits,as well as biochemical forces mediated factors,including growth factors,cytokines,and extracellular matrix proteins,can significantly impact stem cell differentiation.These factors were seen as very effective in determining the proliferation and spreading of stem cells.The specific outgrowth of stem cells can be decided with size variation of topographic nanomaterial along with variation in matrix stiffness and surface structure like a special arrangement.The precision chemistry enabled controlled design,synthesis,and chemical composition of ENMs can regulate stem cell behaviors.The parameters of size such as aspect ratio,diameter,and pore size of nanotopographic structures are the main factors for specific termination of stem cells.Protein corona nanoparticles(NPs)have shown a powerful facet in stem cell therapy,where combining specific proteins could facilitate a certain stem cell differentiation and cellular proliferation.Nano−bio reactions implicate the interaction between biological entities and nanoparticles,which can be used to tailor the stem cells’culmination.The ion release can also be a parameter to enhance cellular proliferation and to commit the early differentiation of stem cells.Further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms underlying the interactions between engineered nano−bio interfaces and stem cells and to develop optimized regenerative medicine and tissue engineering designs.Arsalan Umer Muhammad Daniyal Ghouri Theoneste Muyizere Raja Muhammad Aqib Abdul Muhaymin Rong Cai Chunying Chen 2023Precision Chemistry2023,1,6:0
11COVID-19 Infected Lung Computed Tomography Segmentation and Supervised Classification Approach显示文摘The purpose of this research is the segmentation of lungs computed tomography(CT)scan for the diagnosis of COVID-19 by using machine learning methods.Our dataset contains data from patients who are prone to the epidemic.It contains three types of lungs CT images(Normal,Pneumonia,and COVID-19)collected from two different sources;the first one is the Radiology Department of Nishtar Hospital Multan and Civil Hospital Bahawalpur,Pakistan,and the second one is a publicly free available medical imaging database known as Radiopaedia.For the preprocessing,a novel fuzzy c-mean automated region-growing segmentation approach is deployed to take an automated region of interest(ROIs)and acquire 52 hybrid statistical features for each ROIs.Also,12 optimized statistical features are selected via the chi-square feature reduction technique.For the classification,five machine learning classifiers named as deep learning J4,multilayer perceptron,support vector machine,random forest,and naive Bayes are deployed to optimize the hybrid statistical features dataset.It is observed that the deep learning J4 has promising results(sensitivity and specificity:0.987;accuracy:98.67%)among all the deployed classifiers.As a complementary study,a statistical work is devoted to the use of a new statistical model to fit the main datasets of COVID-19 collected in Pakistan.Aqib Ali Wali Khan Mashwani Samreen Naeem Muhammad Irfan Uddin Wiyada Kumam Poom Kumam Hussam Alrabaiah Farrukh Jamal Christophe Chesneau 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,7:0
12Mining Software Repository for Cleaning Bugs Using Data Mining Technique显示文摘Despite advances in technological complexity and efforts,software repository maintenance requires reusing the data to reduce the effort and complexity.However,increasing ambiguity,irrelevance,and bugs while extracting similar data during software development generate a large amount of data from those data that reside in repositories.Thus,there is a need for a repository mining technique for relevant and bug-free data prediction.This paper proposes a fault prediction approach using a data-mining technique to find good predictors for high-quality software.To predict errors in mining data,the Apriori algorithm was used to discover association rules by fixing confidence at more than 40%and support at least 30%.The pruning strategy was adopted based on evaluation measures.Next,the rules were extracted from three projects of different domains;the extracted rules were then combined to obtain the most popular rules based on the evaluation measure values.To evaluate the proposed approach,we conducted an experimental study to compare the proposed rules with existing ones using four different industrial projects.The evaluation showed that the results of our proposal are promising.Practitioners and developers can utilize these rules for defect prediction during early software development.Nasir Mahmood Yaser Hafeez Khalid Iqbal Shariq Hussain Muhammad Aqib Muhammad Jamal Oh-Young Song 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,10:0
