1Control principles of micro-source inverters used in microgrid显示文摘Since micro-sources are mostly interfaced to microgrid by power inverters, this paper gives an insight of the control methods of the micro-source inverters by reviewing some recent documents.Firstly, the basic principles of different inverter control methods are illustrated by analyzing the electrical circuits and control loops. Then, the main problems and some typical improved schemes of theωU-droop grid-supporting inverter are presented. In results and discussion part, the comparison of different kinds of inverters is presented and some notable research points is discussed. It is concluded that the most promising control method should be theωU-droop control, and it is meaningful to study the performance improvement methods under realistic operation conditions in the future work.Wenming Guo Longhua Mu 2016Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2016,1,1:3

3New protection scheme for internal fault of multi-microgrid显示文摘Multi-microgrids have many new characteristics, such as bi-directional power flow, flexible operation and variable fault current consisting of the different control strategy of inverter interfaced distributed generations (IIDGs), which all present challenges in multi-microgrid protection. In this paper, the current and voltage characteristics of different feeders are analyzed considering faults at different locations of the multi-microgrid. Based on the voltage and current distribution characteristics of the line parameters, a new protection scheme for the internal faults of multi-microgrids is proposed, which takes the change of phase difference and amplitude of measured bus admittances as the criterion. This proposed scheme has high sensitivity and reliability, is based on a simple principle, and can be easily adjusted. Simulation results using PSCAD/EMTDC verify the correctness and effectiveness of the protection scheme.Fan Zhang Longhua Mu 2019Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2019,4,1:1

5Renewable Microgrid Protection Strategy Coordinating with Current-based Fault Control显示文摘The renewable microgrid(RMG)is a critical way to organize and utilize new energy. Its control and protection strategies during the fault are the core technologies to ensure the safe operation and stability of the system. The traditional protection principles are unsuitable for RMGs due to the flexibility of RMG operation, the complexity of RMG topology, and the variety of fault control strategies of inverter-interfaced distributed generators(IIDGs).The traditional fault component protection principle is affected by the low voltage ride-through(LVRT)control strategy and will fail in some scenarios. In order to make the fault component protection principle available in every scenario,a current-based fault control strategy is proposed.Specific fault characteristics are generated by the grid-feeding IIDGs during the fault so they can be equivalent to the open circuits, and the fault models in additional network can be simplified.By analyzing the fault characteristics,an RMG protection strategy based on the current-based fault control of IIDGs is presented. The fault directions of feeders can be distinguished and the fault feeder can be located accurately in both grid-connected and islanded RMGs.Then, the grid-feeding IIDGs can transit to LVRT mode smoothly. Thus,IIDGs are considered comprehensively in terms of coordinating with fault control and fault characteristic generation. Finally, the experimental results of the hardware platform prove the effectiveness of the proposed current-based fault control strategy, and the simulation results based on PSCAD/EMTDC verify the correctness of the protection strategy.Zihao Wang Longhua Mu Chongkai Fang 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,6:0
6Mutation of the critical pH-gating residues histidine 231 to glutamate increase open probability of outer membrane protein G in planar lipid bilayer显示文摘Dear Editor,Outer-membrane protein G(OmpG)is a nonspecificβ-barrel porin in the outer membrane of Escherichia coli(E.coli),allowing the passage of ions and molecules up to 900 Da(Fajardo et al.,1998).It comprises of 280 amino acids that form 14-strandedβ-sheets with seven long loops(L1-L7)on the extra-cellular side and six short turns on the periplasmic side(Subbarao and van den Berg,2006;Yildiz et al.,2006;Liang and Tamm,2007).Despite that the OmpG gene exists in the genome of several E.coli strains(Nikaido,1999),expres-sion of OmpG was only observed in E.coli mutants lacking OmpF and LamB(Fajardo et al.,1998)to enable the diffu-sion of maltodextrins across the bacte-rial outer membrane.Very interestingly, unlike usual trimeric channel-forming porins,OmpG exhibits fascinating characteristics of a functional monomer in physiological and structural studies(Conlan and Bayley,2003;Mari et al.,2010).Mu Yu Peibei Sun Yao He Liang Xiao Demeng Sun Longhua Zhang Changlin Tian 2013Protein & Cell2013,4,11:0
