1Adenoviral gene therapy in gastric cancer: A review显示文摘Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide. With current therapeutic approaches the prognosis of gastric cancer is very poor, as gastric cancer accounts for the second most common cause of death in cancer related deaths. Gastric cancer like almost all other cancers has a molecular genetic basis which relies on disruption in normal cellular regulatory mechanisms regarding cell growth, apoptosis and cell division. Thus novel therapeutic approaches such as gene therapy promise to become the alternative choice of treatment in gastric cancer. In gene therapy, suicide genes, tumor suppressor genes and anti-angiogenesis genes among many others are introduced to cancer cells via vectors. Some of the vectors widely used in gene therapy are Adenoviral vectors. 2Hot deformation behavior of microstructural constituents in a duplex stainless steel during high-temperature straining显示文摘The hot deformation characteristics of 1.4462 duplex stainless steel(DSS)were analyzed by considering strain partitioning between austenite and ferrite constituents.The individual behavior of ferrite and austenite in microstructure was studied in an iso-stress condition.Hot compression tests were performed at temperatures of 800-1100 C and strain rates of 0.001-1 s 1.The flow stress was modeled by a hyperbolic sine constitutive equation,the corresponding constants and apparent activation energies were determined for the studied alloys.The constitutive equation and law of mixture were used to measure the contribution factor of each phase at any given strain.It is found that the contribution factor of ferrite exponentially declines as the Zener-Hollomon parameter(Z)increases.On the contrary,the austenite contribution polynomially increases with the increase of Z.At low Z values below 2.6.×1015(lnZ=35.5),a negative contribution factor is determined for austenite that is attributed to dynamic recrystallization.At high Z values,the contribution factor of austenite is about two orders of magnitude greater than that of ferrite,and therefore,austenite can accommodate more strain.Microstructural characterization via electron back-scattered difraction(EBSD)confirms the mechanical results and shows that austenite recrystallization is possible only at high temperature and low strain rate.Amir Momeni Shahab Kazemi Ali Bahrani 2013International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2013,20,10:11

4Hot Compression Behavior of As-Cast Precipitation-Hardening Stainless Steel显示文摘High temperature deformation characteristics of a semiaustenitic grade of precipitation-hardening stainless steels were investigated by conducting hot compression tests at temperatures of 900-1 100 ℃ and strain rates of 0.001-1 s-1. Flow behavior of this alloy was investigated and it was realized that dynamic recrystallization (DRX) was responsible for flow softening. The correlation between critical strain for initiation of DRX and deformation parameters including temperature and strain rate, and therefore, Zener-Hollomon parameter (Z) was studied. Metallographic observation was performed to determine the as-deformed microstructure. Microstructural observation shows that recrystallized grain size increases with increasing the temperature and decreasing the strain rate. The activation energy required for DRX of the investigated steel was determined using correlations of flow stress versus temperature and strain rate. The calculated value of activation energy, 460 kJ/mol, is in accordance with other studies on stainless steels. 5Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructure of Modified Cast AISI D3 Cold Work Tool Steel显示文摘The effects of heat treatment on the microstructure of modified cast high chromium high carbon AISI D3 steel were studied.The modified AISI D3 steel was developed by replacing part of chromium with niobium and titanium,in which chromium carbide was partially replaced with MC carbides.The cast samples produced by investment casting were heat treated under different conditions.The microstructures of the samples were studied by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope equipped with EDS analyzer.To determine the optimized homogenizing process,the effects of homogenizing treatment on the microstructure and the morphology of carbides were also studied.The results show that the MC carbides are not changed in shape and amounts during high temperature homogenizing,whereas the M3C carbides are reduced in amount and become semiglobular in shape,and the homogeneity of microstructure is improved.Shahram Kheirandish Hasan Saghafian Jalal Hedjazi Mohammad Momeni 2010Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2010,17,9:8
6Interventions of natural and synthetic agents in inflammatory bowel disease, modulation of nitric oxide pathways显示文摘Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)refers to a group of disorders characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal(GI)tract.The elevated levels of nitric oxide(NO)in serum and affected tissues;mainly synthesized by the inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)enzyme;can exacerbate GI inflammation and is one of the major biomarkers of GI inflammation.Various natural and synthetic agents are able to ameliorate GI inflammation and decrease iNOS expression to the extent comparable with some IBD drugs.Thereby,the purpose of this study was to gather a list of natural or synthetic mediators capable of modulating IBD through the NO pathway.Electronic databases including Google Scholar and PubMed were searched from 1980 to May 2018.We found that polyphenols and particularly flavonoids are able to markedly attenuate NO production and iNOS expression through the nuclear factorκB(NF-κB)and JAK/STAT signaling pathways.Prebiotics and probiotics can also alter the GI microbiota and reduce NO expression in IBD models through a broad array of mechanisms.A number of synthetic molecules have been found to suppress NO expression either dependent on the NF-κB signaling pathway(i.e.,dexamethasone,pioglitazone,tropisetron)or independent from this pathway(i.e.,nicotine,prednisolone,celecoxib,β-adrenoceptor antagonists).Co-administration of natural and synthetic agents can affect the tissue level of NO and may improve IBD symptoms mainly by modulating the Toll like receptor-4 and NF-κB signaling pathways.Aida Kamalian Masoud Sohrabi Asl Mahsa Dolatshahi Khashayar Afshari Shiva Shamshiri Nazanin Momeni Roudsari Saeideh Momtaz Roja Rahimi Mohammad Abdollahi Amir Hossein Abdolghaffari 2020World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,24:5

8A new impedance and robust adaptive inverse control approach for a teleoperation system with varying time delay显示文摘This paper presents a new robust adaptive inverse control approach for a force-reflecting teleoperation system with varying time delay. First,an impedance control is designed for the master robot. Second,an adaptive inverse control is proposed for the slave robot. Finally,the slave side controller is modified such that the robust stability and performance are achieved. In addition,robust stability analysis has been performed and optimal behavior is ensured by using standard characteristic polynomials. It is shown that despite of presence of randomly-varying time delay,the proposed control algorithm compensates the position drifts efficiently. 10Dye-sensitized solar cells based on Cr-doped TiO2 nanotube photoanodes显示文摘The effect of chromium doping on the photovoltaic efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) with anodized TiO_2 nanotubes followed by an annealing process was investigated. Cr-doped TiO_2 nanotubes(CrTNs) with different amounts of chromium were obtained by anodizing of titanium foils in a single-step process using potassium chromate as the chromium source. Film features were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX), and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis) spectroscopy. It is clearly seen that highly ordered TiO_2 nanotubes are formed in an anodizing solution free of potassium chromate, and with a gradual increase in the potassium chromate concentration, these nanotube structures change to nanoporous and compact films without porosity. The photovoltaic efficiencies of fabricated DSSCs were characterized by a solar cell measurement system via the photocurrent-voltage(I-V) curves. It is found that the photovoltaic efficiency of DSSCs with CrTNsl sample is improved by more than three times compared to that of DSSCs with undoped TNs. 12问荆提取物页岩水化膨胀抑制剂性能及防膨机理显示文摘提出将问荆提取物作为页岩水化膨胀抑制剂,通过室内实验研究了其抑制页岩水化膨胀的性能,与氯化钾和聚胺进行了对比,并分析了其防膨机理。膨润土水化抑制实验、膨润土沉淀实验、动态线性膨胀实验、滚动回收实验和吸附量测定实验结果表明:问荆提取物可以抑制膨润土的水化,阻止黏土矿物在溶液中均匀分散,减小膨润土的膨胀,抑制钻屑在水中破碎和分散,且与氯化钾和聚胺性能相当。对问荆提取物的防膨机理进行分析后发现:其成分中具有活性烃基的物质与膨润土颗粒表面间氢键缔合,降低了膨润土颗粒表面的吸水率,从而抑制膨润土膨胀。除了具有良好的防膨能力,问荆提取物获取容易、价格低廉,且不会破坏生态环境,是一种理想的页岩水化膨胀抑制剂。BARATI Pezhman KESHTKAR Sadegh AGHAJAFARI Amirhossein SHAHBAZI Khalil MOMENI Ali 2016石油勘探与开发2016,43,3:4
13Importance of reporting segmental bowel preparation scores during colonoscopy in clinical practice显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the impact of reporting bowel preparation using Boston Bowel Preparation Scale(BBPS) in clinical practice.METHODS: The study was a prospective observational cohort study which enrolled subjects reporting for screening colonoscopy. All subjects received a gallon of polyethylene glycol as bowel preparation regimen. After colonoscopy the endoscopists determined quality of bowel preparation using BBPS. Segmental scores were combined to calculate composite BBPS. Site and size of the polyps detected was recorded. Pathology reports were reviewed to determine advanced adenoma detection rates(AADR). Segmental AADR's were calculated and categorized based on the segmental BBPS to determine the differential impact of bowel prep on AADR. RESULTS: Three hundred and sixty subjects were enrolled in the study with a mean age of 59.2 years, 36.3% males and 63.8% females. Four subjects with incomplete colonoscopy due BBPS of 0 in any segment were excluded. Based on composite BBPS subjects were divided into 3 groups; Group-0(poor bowel prep, BBPS 0-3) n = 26(7.3%), Group-1(Suboptimal bowel prep, BBPS 4-6) n = 121(34%) and Group-2(Adequate bowel prep, BBPS 7-9) n = 209(58.7%). AADR showed a linear trend through Group-1 to 3; with an AADR of 3.8%, 14.8% and 16.7% respectively. Also seen was a linear increasing trend in segmental AADR with improvement in segmental BBPS. There was statistical significant difference between AADR among Group 0 and 2(3.8% vs 16.7%, P < 0.05), Group 1 and 2(14.8% vs 16.7%, P < 0.05) and Group 0 and 1(3.8% vs 14.8%, P < 0.05). χ2 method was used to compute P value for determining statistical significance.CONCLUSION: Segmental AADRs correlate with segmental BBPS. 14Dynamic recrystallization and precipitation in high manganese austenitic stainless steel during hot compression显示文摘Dynamic recrystallization and precipitation in a high manganese austenitic stainless steel were investigated by hot compression tests over temperatures of 950-1150°C at strain rates of 0.001 s-1-1 s-1.All the flow curves within the studied deformation regimes were typical of dynamic recrystallization.A window was constructed to determine the value of apparent activation energy as a function of strain rate and deformation temperature.The kinetics of dynamic recrystallization was analyzed using the Avrami kinetics equation.A range of apparent activation energy for hot deformation from 303 kJ/mol to 477 kJ/mol is obtained at different deformation regimes.Microscopic characterization confirms that under a certain deformation condition(medium Zener-Hollomon parameter(Z) values),dynamic recrystallization appears at first,but large particles can not inhibit the recrystallization.At low or high Z values,dynamic recrystallization may occur before dynamic precipitation and proceeds faster.In both cases,secondary phase precipitation is observed along prior austenite grain boundaries.Stress relaxation tests at the same deformation temperatures also confirm the possibility of dynamic precipitation.Unexpectedly,the Avrami's exponent value increases with the increase of Z value.It is associated with the priority of dynamic recrystallization to dynamic precipitation at higher Z values.Amir Momeni Shahab Kazemi Golam Ebrahimi Alireza Maldar 2014International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2014,21,1:3

17Effects of Hydro-alcoholic Extract of Launaea acanthodes on Serum Gonadotropin and Testosterone Levels and the Structure of Seminiferous Tubules in Hyperglycemic Rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the effects of hydro-alcoholic extract of Launaea acanthodes,a blood glucose lowering plant in folk medicine of Iran,on the structure of seminiferous tubules and serum gonadotropin and testosterone levels in hyperglycemic rats.Methods:Twenty-four Wistar rats were randomly allocated into4 groups(n=6):control,streptozotocin(STZ),STZ+insulin[STZ+Ins,5 IU/(kg·day)],and STZ+Launaea acanthodes extract[STZ+Ext,150 mg/(kg·day)].Blood samples were collected at the 2nd and 4th weeks for detection of testosterone,follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)with enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay(ELISA),and the right testes of rats were removed at the 7th week for the evaluation of diameter and wall thickness of seminiferous tubules and number of Leydig cells using unbiased stereological techniques.Results:In comparison with the control group,at the 2nd week FSH(0.45 vs 0.03,0.02,0.02 IU/L in STZ,STZ+Ins and STZ+Ext groups,respectively)and LH(1.02 vs 0.37,0.2,0.29 IU/L)showed significant decreases(all P<0.05)and testosterone(4.2 vs 8.37,7.78,11.8 ng/mL)showed a remarkable increase(all P<0.05).The levels of these hormones became closer in the STZ+Ext and the STZ+Ins groups to the control at the 4th week.A significant decrease in diameter and wall thickness of seminiferous tubules and number of Leydig cells were observed in the STZ group as compared with the control(P<0.01).Conclusions:Administration of Launaea extract demonstrated a beneficial impact on the protection of testis from pathogenic and degenerative effects of hyperglycemia which may be partly due to its potential antioxidative effects.Ameneh Mohammadi Morteza Behnam-Rassouli Zeinab Momeni Naser Mahdavi-Shahri 2016Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2016,22,3:2

19Evaluation of factors affecting psychological morbidity in emergency medicine practitioners显示文摘BACKGROUND: Assessing and evaluating mental health status can provide educational planners valuable information to predict the quality of physicians' performance at work. These data can help physicians to practice in the most desired way. The study aimed to evaluate factors affecting psychological morbidity in Iranian emergency medicine practitioners at educational hospitals of Tehran.METHODS: In this cross sectional study 204 participants(emergency medicine residents and specialists) from educational hospitals of Tehran were recruited and their psychological morbidity was assessed by using a 28-question Goldberg General Health Questionnaire(GHQ-28). Somatization, anxiety and sleep disorders, social dysfunction and depression were evaluated among practitioners and compared to demographic and job related variables.RESULTS: Two hundreds and four participants consisting of 146(71.6%) males and 58(28.4%) females were evaluated. Of all participants, 55(27%) were single and 149(73%) were married. Most of our participants(40.2%) were between 30–35 years old. By using GHQ-28, 129(63.2%) were recognized as normal and 75(36.8%) suffered some mental health disorders. There was a signifi cant gender difference between normal practitioners and practitioners with disorder(P=0.02) while marital status had no significant difference(P=0.2). 20Human microbiome and prostate cancer development:current insights into the prevention and treatment显示文摘The huge communities of microorganisms that symbiotically colonize humans are recognized as significant players in health and disease.The human microbiome may influence prostate cancer development.To date,several studies have focused on the effect of prostate infections as well as the composition of the human microbiome in relation to prostate cancer risk.Current studies suggest that the microbiota of men with prostate cancer significantly differs from that of healthy men,demonstrating that certain bacteria could be associated with cancer development as well as altered responses to treatment.In healthy individuals,the microbiome plays a crucial role in the maintenance of homeostasis of body metabolism.Dysbiosis may contribute to the emergence of health problems,including malignancy through affecting systemic immune responses and creating systemic inflammation,and changing serum hormone levels.In this review,we discuss recent data about how the microbes colonizing different parts of the human body including urinary tract,gastrointestinal tract,oral cavity,and skin might affect the risk of developing prostate cancer.Furthermore,we discuss strategies to target the microbiome for risk assessment,prevention,and treatment of prostate cancer.Solmaz Ohadian Moghadam Seyed Ali Momeni 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,1:2
