Optimized Fuzzy Controller for MPPT of Grid-connected PV Systems in Rapidly Changing Atmospheric Conditions显示文摘Due to nonlinear behavior of power production of photovoltaic(PV)systems,it is necessary to apply the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)techniques to generate the maximum power. The conventional MPPT methods do not function properly in rapidly changing atmospheric conditions. In this study,a fuzzy logic controller(FLC)optimized by a combination of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and genetic algorithm(GA)is proposed to obtain the maximum power point(MPP).The proposed FLC uses the ratio of power variations to voltage variations and the derivative of power variations to voltage variations as inputs and uses the duty cycle as the output. The range of changes in fuzzy membership functions and fuzzy rules are proposed as an optimization problem optimized by the PSO-GA.The proposed design is validated for MPPT of a PV system using MATLAB/Simulink software. The results indicate a better performance of the proposed FLC compared to the common methods. | Majid Dehghani Mohammad Taghipour Gevork B.Gharehpetian Mehrdad Abedi | 2021 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,2: | 4
Estimation of the current stress field and fault reactivation analysis in the Asmari reservoir, SW Iran显示文摘Knowing the current condition of the faults and fractures in a reservoir is crucial for production and injection activities.A good estimation of the fault reactivation potential in the current stress field is a useful tool for locating the appropriate spot to drill injection wells and to calculate the maximum sustainable pore pressure in enhanced oil recovery and geosequestration projects. In this study, after specifying the current stress state in the Gachsaran oilfield based on Anderson’s faulting theory, the reactivation tendency of four faults(F1,F2,F3,and F4)in the Asmari reservoir is analyzed using 3D Mohr diagrams and slip tendency factors. Results showed that all the faults are stable in the current stress state, and F2 has the potential to undergo the highest pore pressure build-up in the field. On the other hand,F3 has the proper conditions(i.e.,strike and dip referring to σHmax orientation)for reactivation.Stress polygons were also applied to show the effect of the pore pressure increase on fault stability,in a graphical manner.According to the results, the best location for drilling a new injection well in this part of the field is the NW side of F2,due to the lower risk of reactivation. It was found that both methods of 3D Mohr diagrams and slip tendency factors predict similar results, and with the lack of image logs for stress orientation determination, the slip tendency method can be applied. The results of such studies can also be used for locating safe injection points and determining the injection pressure prior to numerical modeling in further geomechanical studies. | Majid Taghipour Mohammad Ghafoori Gholam Reza Lashkaripour Nasser Hafezi Moghaddas Abdullah Molaghab | 2019 | Petroleum Science2019,16,3: | 1

Postmiogypsinella intermedia Sirel and Gedik 2011 from the upper Oligocene of Central Iran(Qom Formation):Paleogeography and paleoenvironmental implications显示文摘Postmiogypsinella intermedia Sirel and Gedik,2011 is reported for the first time from the shallow-marine limestones of the upper Chattian Qom Formation,Central Iran. This miogypsinid species has so far only been recorded from the upper Oligocene of Malatya(type locality)and Sivas(Central Anatolia)in eastern Turkey and from the upper Oligocene of the Prebetic Domain,SE Spain. The new record from Central Iran, paleobiogeographically located at the Eurasian margin of the Tethyan Seaway between the Western and Eastern Tethys realms, indicates that the paleogeographic distribution of this species has to be extended eastwards as far as Central Iran. This observation is not unexpected, since miogypsinid foraminifers with eccentric embryonic-nepionic apparatus(e.g.,Miogypsinella,Miogypsinoides,Miogypsina)are usually widely distributed. The accompanying larger benthic foraminifera, including Miogypsinoides complanatus(Schlumberger),Miogypsinoides formosensis Yabe and Hanzawa,Spiroclypeus margaritatus(Schlumberger),Operculina complanata(Defrance),and Risananeiza pustulosa Boukhary et al.,indicate the late Chattian age(corresponding to SBZ 23 Biozone).Postmiogypsinella intermedia is indicative of a shallow-marine middle ramp environment with oligotrophic conditions and inhabited the relatively deeper part of the photic zone. | Mohsen Yazdi-Moghadam Mehdi Sarfi Mohammad Sharifi Aliakbar Taghipour | 2023 | Journal of Palaeogeography2023,12,2: | 0
Phytosomal curcumin alleviates collagen-induced arthritis by downregulating Th17 and upregulating Treg cell responses in rats显示文摘Objective:To explore the effects of a nano-formulation of curcumin(phytosomal curcumin)on the clinical and pathological symptoms of collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)in rats. Methods:Forty male Wistar rats were immunized with an emulsion containing bovine typeⅡcollagen and incomplete Freund's adjuvant and then administered phytosomal curcumin post-immunization.Clinical symptoms and histological analysis of the synovial tissues were performed. The effect of phytosomal curcumin on Th17 and Treg parameters was also evaluated. Results:Phytosomal curcumin reduced the clinical severity and paw swelling in CIA-induced rats, which was accompanied by a reduction in the number of inflammatory cell infiltration in the synovial tissue.Additionally, treatment with phytosomal curcumin significantly inhibited CIA-associated mediators as well as increased the anti-inflammatory mediators in comparison to the control groups. Conclusions:Phytosomal curcumin could improve CIA autoimmune responses and can be considered a potential candidate for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. | Mahnaz Ramezani Nahid Zainodini Reza Nosratabadi Yaser Yousefpoor Zahra Taghipour Mitra Abbasifard Mohammad Reza Rahmani | 2022 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2022,12,11: | 0
Gd impurity effect on the magnetic and electronic properties of hexagonal Sr ferrites: A case study by DFT显示文摘The electronic and magnetic properties of strontium hexa-ferrite(SrFe12O19)are studied in pure state(SrFe12O19)and with dopant in the positions 2 and 3 of Fe atoms(SrGdFe11O19-I and SrGdFe11O19-Ⅱ,respectively)by utilizing a variety of the density functional theory(DFT)approaches including the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof generalized gradient approximation(PBE-GGA)and GGA plus Hubbard U parameter(GGA+U).The pure SrFe12O19 is a hard magnetic half-metal with an integer magnetic moment of 64.00μB,while using the GGA+U functional, the magnetic intensity increases, resulting in a magnetic semiconductor with a high integer magnetic moment of 120μB.By doping the Gd atom in the two different positions of Fe,the magnetic moment is increased to 71.68μB and 68.00μB,respectively.The magnetic moment increases and remains an integer;hence,SrGdFe11O19-Ⅱcan be very useful for application in magnetic memories. Moreover, applying the Hubbard parameter turns SrGdFe11O19-I and SrGdFe11O19-Ⅱto magnetic semiconductors with a magnetic moment of 124μB,and the energy gap of both doped structures at spin down is found to be less than the pure case.By studying the electronic density diagram of the atoms of the crystal,it is found that the major effect to create magnetization in the pure case is due to the Fe atom. However,in the doped case, the elements Gd and Fe have the highest moment in the crystal respectively. | Masomeh Taghipour Mohammad Yousefi Reza Fazaeli Masoud Darvishganji | 2020 | Chinese Physics B2020,29,7: | 0
