Modifying the Power and Performance of 2-Dimensional MoS_(2)Field Effect Transistors显示文摘Over the past 60 years, the semiconductor industry has been the core driver for the development of information technology, contributing to the birth of integrated circuits,Internet, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things.Semiconductor technology has been evolving in structure and material with co-optimization of performance–power–area–cost until the state-of-the-art sub-5-nm node.Two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors are recognized by the industry and academia as a hopeful solution to break through the quantum confinement for the future technology nodes. In the recent 10 years, the key issues on 2D semiconductors regarding material, processing, and integration have been overcome in sequence, making 2D semiconductors already on the verge of application. In this paper, the evolution of transistors is reviewed by outlining the potential of 2D semiconductors as a technological option beyond the scaled metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors. We mainly focus on the optimization strategies of mobility(μ),equivalent oxide thickness(EOT),and contact resistance(RC),which enables high ON current(Ion)with reduced driving voltage(Vdd). Finally,we prospect the semiconductor technology roadmap by summarizing the technological development of 2D semiconductors over the past decade. | Fulin Zhuo Jie Wu Binhong Li Moyang Li Chee Leong Tan Zhongzhong Luo Huabin Sun Yong Xu Zhihao Yu | 2023 | Research2023,,3: | 2
Integrated network analyses identify MYB4R1 neofunctionalization in the UV-B adaptation of Tartary buckwheat显示文摘A hallmark of adaptive evolution is innovation in gene function, which is associated with the development of distinct roles for genes during plant evolution;however, assessing functional innovation over long periods of time is not trivial.Tartary buckwheat(Fagopyrum tataricum)originated in the Himalayan region and has been exposed to intense UV-B radiation for a long time, making it an ideal species for studying novel UV-B response mechanisms in plants. Here,we developed a workflow to obtain a co-functional network of UV-B responses using data from more than 10,000 samples in more than 80 projects with multi-species and multiomics data.Dissecting the entire network revealed that flavonoid biosynthesis was most significantly related to the UV-B response.Importantly,we found that the regulatory factor MYB4R1,which resides at the core of the network, has undergone neofunctionalization. In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that MYB4R1 regulates flavonoid and anthocyanin accumulation in response to UV-B in buckwheat by binding to L-box motifs in the FtCHS,FtFLS,and FtUFGT promoters. We used deep learning to develop a visual discrimination model of buckwheat flavonoid content based on natural populations exposed to global UV-B radiation. Our study highlights the critical role of gene neofunctionalization in UV-B adaptation. | Moyang Liu Wenjun Sun Zhaotang Ma Chaocheng Guo Jiahao Chen Qi Wu Xiyin Wang Hui Chen | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,6: | 1

The Channel Characteristics Analysis of Two River Types in Lee's Ferry Area显示文摘Discovery showed that some of the rivers in Lee's Ferry area run on bedrocks while some are on the alluvium, based on geomorphology, the different kinds of channel characteristics can influence whether these rivers run on bed rock or alluvium. By analyzing the velocity, discharge, width and depth, hydraulic radius and comparing the different channel characteristics of rivers in other areas with Lee's Ferry,it is observed that the channel discharge, velocity and the hydraulic radius play an important role in controlling the transport-limited river and these factors can be inferred to be correct even for all the river channels in Arizona. | Feng Moyang David Elliot Wang Lu | 2016 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2016,7,2: | 0
A cross-species co-functional gene network underlying leaf senescence显示文摘The complex leaf senescence process is governed by various levels of transcriptional and translational regulation.Several features of the leaf senescence process are similar across species, yet the extent to which the molecular mechanisms underlying the process of leaf senescence are conserved remains unclear.Currently used experimental approaches permit the identification of individual pathways that regulate various physiological and biochemical processes;however, the large-scale regulatory network underpinning intricate processes like leaf senescence cannot be built using these methods. Here,we discovered a series of conserved genes involved in leaf senescence in a common horticultural crop(Solanum lycopersicum),a monocot plant(Oryza sativa),and a eudicot plant(Arabidopsis thaliana)through analyses of the evolutionary relationships and expression patterns among genes. Our analyses revealed that the genetic basis of leaf senescence is largely conserved across species. We also created a multi-omics workf low using data from more than 10000 samples from 85 projects and constructed a leaf senescence-associated co-functional gene network with 2769 conserved,high-confidence functions.Furthermore,we found that the mitochondrial unfolded protein response(UPR^(mt))is the central biological process underlying leaf senescence.Specifically,UPR^(mt) responds to leaf senescence by maintaining mitostasis through a few cross-species conserved transcription factors(e.g.NAC13)and metabolites(e.g.ornithine).The co-functional network built in our study indicates that UPR^(mt) figures prominently in cross-species conserved mechanisms.Generally, the results of our study provide new insights that will aid future studies of leaf senescence. | Moyang Liu Chaocheng Guo Kexuan Xie Kai Chen Jiahao Chen Yudong Wang Xu Wang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,1: | 0
Tartary buckwheat database(TBD):an integrative platform for gene analysis of and biological information on Tartary buckwheat显示文摘Rice, wheat, com, and potatoes are four crops that provide a daily source of nutrition for humans, but there are many problems that have been found with these crops.First, they lack amino acids and minerals which are necessary for balanced nutrition, and they also are grown very widely and as monocultures, which increases the risk of the human food system being destroyed by climate change. Thus,by introducing coarse cereals with good characteristics,we can enrich human food resources, realize agricultural diversification, improve dietary structure, and mitigate risks.Tartary buckwheat{Fagopyrum tataricum)is a widely cultivated edible and medicinal crop with unique nutritional and excellent economic value. | Moyang LIU Wenjun SUN Zhaotang MA Yuan HU Hui CHEN | 2021 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,11: | 0
Anatomical morphology of the aortic valve in Chinese aortic stenosis patients and clinical results after downsize strategy of transcatheter aortic valve replacement显示文摘Background:The study aimed to describe the aortic valve morphology in Chinese patients underwent transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR)for symptomatic severe aortic stenosis(AS),and the impact of sizing strategies and related procedural outcomes. Methods:Patients with severe AS who underwent TAVR were consecutively enrolled from 2012 to 2019.The anatomy and morphology of the aortic root were assessed.'Downsize'strategy was preformed when patients had complex morphology. The clinical outcomes of patients who performed downsize strategy were compared with those received annular sizing strategy. The primary outcome was device success rate, and secondary outcomes included Valve Academic Research Consortium-3 clinical outcomes variables based on 1-year follow-up.Results:A total of 293 patients were enrolled.Among them,95 patients(32.4%)had bicuspid aortic valve. The calcium volume(Hounsfield Unit-850)of aortic root was 449.90(243.15-782.15)mm3.Calcium is distributed mostly on the leaflet level.Downsize strategy was performed in 204 patients(69.6%).Compared with the patients who performed annular sizing strategy, those received downsize strategy achieved a similar device success rate(82.0%[73]vs.83.3%[170],P=0.79).Aortic valve gradients(downsize strategy group vs.annular sizing group,11.28 mmHg vs.11.88 mmHg,P=0.64)and percentages of patients with moderate or severe paravalvular regurgitation 2.0%(4/204)vs.4.5%(4/89),P=0.21were similar in the two groups at 30 days after TAVR.These echocardiographic results were sustainable for one year. Conclusions:Chinese TAVR patients have more prevalent bicuspid morphology and large calcium volume of aortic root.Calcium is distributed mostly on the leaflet level.Compare with annular sizing strategy, downsize strategy provided a non-inferior device success rate and transcatheter heart valve hemodynamic performance in self-expanding TAVR procedure. | Guannan Niu Walid Ben Ali Moyang Wang Hasan Jilaihawi Haitong Zhang Qian Zhang Yunqing Ye Xinmin Liu Jing Yao Qinghao Zhao Yubin Wang Zheng Zhou Lizhi Zhang Xinshuang Ren Yunqiang An Bin Lu Thomas Modine Yongjian Wu Guangyuan Song | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,24: | 0
