| 1 | A Sub-100 mg Electromagnetically Driven Insect-inspired Flapping-wing Micro Robot Capable of Liftoff and Control Torques Modulation显示文摘Inspired by the unique,agile and efficient flapping flight of insects,we present a novel sub-100 mg,electromagnetically driven,tailless,flapping-wing micro robot.This robot utilizes two optimized electromagnetic actuators placed back to back to drive two wings separately,then kinematics of each wing can be independently controlled,which gives the robot the ability to generate all three control torques of pitch,roll and yaw for steering.To quantify the performance of the robot,a simplified aerodynamic model is used to estimate the generated lift and torques,and two customized test platforms for lift and torque measurement are built for this robot.The mean lift generated by the robot is measured to be proportional to the square of the input voltage amplitude.The three control torques are measured to be respectively proportional to three decoupled parameters of the control voltages,therefore the modulation of three control torques for the robot is independent,which is helpful for the further controlled flight.All these measured results fit well with the calculated results of the aerodynamic model.Furthermore,with a total weight of 96 mg and a wingspan of 3.5 cm,this robot can generate sufficient lift to take off. | Chenyang Wang Weiping Zhang Yang Zou Ran Meng Jiaxin Zhao Mingchen Wei | 2020 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,6: | 2 |
| 2 | Cost-effectiveness analysis on COVID-19 surveillance strategy of large-scale sports competition显示文摘Background:Nucleic acid test(NAT)could effectively control the spread of COVID-19 caused by large-scale sports competitions.However,quantitative analysis on the appropriate frequency of NAT is scarce,and the cost-effectiveness and necessity of high-frequency NAT remain to be fully explored and validated.This study aims to optimize the COVID-19 surveillance strategies through cost-effectiveness analysis for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.Methods:A total of 18 scenarios were designed regarding the NAT frequency,symptom monitoring,and strengthening close-contact control.An agent-based stochastic dynamic model was used to compare the cost-effectiveness of different NAT scenarios and optimize the surveillance strategies.The dynamics of the proposed model included the arrival and departure of agents,transmission of the disease according to Poisson processes,and quarantine of agents based on regular NATs and symptom onset.Accumulative infections,cost,and incremental cost-effectiveness ratio(ICER)were simulated in the frame of the model.ICER was used to compare the cost-effectiveness of different scenarios.Univariate sensitivity analysis was performed to test the robustness of the results.Results:In Scenario 16,where the competition-related personnel(CRP)received NAT daily and national sports delegation(NSD)with quarantined infections accepted an additional NAT daily,accumulative infection was 320.90(90 initial infections),the total cost was(United States Dollar)USD 8920000,and the cost of detecting out each infection was USD 27800.Scenario 16 would reduce the total cost by USD 22570000(avoid 569.61 infections),USD 1420000(avoid 47.2 infections)compared with Scenario 10(weekly NAT,strengthened close contact control)and Scenario 7(daily NAT,no strengthened close contact control),respectively.Sensitivity analysis showed that the result was most sensitive to the change in basic reproductive number.Conclusions:High-frequency NATs such as bidaily,daily,and twice a day were cost-effective.NAT daily for CRP with strengthening close-contact control could be prioritized in defense against COVID-19 at large-scale sports competitions.This study could assist policymakers by assessing the cost-effectiveness of NAT scenarios and provide the host country with an optimal COVID-19 surveillance strategy. | Xuechun Wang Yiru Cai Bo Zhang Xiangyu Zhang Lianhao Wang Xiangyu Yan Mingchen Zhao Yuan Zhang Zhongwei Jia | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,2: | 2 |
| 3 | A Comparison Study on the δD Value of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Hydrous Pyrolysate of Herbaceous Peat with Different Water Medium显示文摘To investigate the influence of diagenetic water media on the hydrogen isotopes of individual sedimentary aromatic compounds,a series of hydrous pyrolyses were conducted on herbaceous peat.Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in hydrous pyrolysed samples and their hydrogen isotopic composition characteristics were studied.The aqueous medium demonstrated a significant influence on the hydrogen isotopic composition of the individual PAHs generated during pyrolysis.The results showed that the PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a saltwater medium with high δD value from a salt lake had a heavy hydrogen isotopic composition.The PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a fresh water medium with low δD value from a swamp had a light hydrogen isotopic composition.The difference in the average PAHδD value between the two hydrous experiments varied from -174‰ to -109‰,suggesting that the hydrogen isotopic composition of individual sedimentary PAHs can reflect the source of the diagenetic water medium.In addition,a comparative study found that the hydrogen isotopes of PAHs were superior to those of n-alkanes in the same sample for diagenetic water indications.The results indicated that the exchange of water-derived inorganic hydrogen and organic hydrogen was more intensive in freshwater experiments than in saltwater experiments.With an increase in the simulation temperature,the average δD value of PAHs generated in the hydrous simulation experiments showed an increasing trend,reflecting that the δD value of sedimentary PAHs formed with the participation of diagenetic water media was still closely related to the thermal maturity of organic matter.Comparative studies showed that theδD values of different types of organic compounds produced by hydrous pyrolysis of peat were in the order,PAHs>n-alkanes>methane. | DUAN Yi WU Yingzhong XING Lantian WU Yingqin ZHAO Yang LI Zhongping MA Lanhua DUAN Mingchen | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,6: | 0 |
| 4 | Influence of positive DC electric field on rime icing on the insulator and its experimental verification in the natural environment显示文摘The electric field imposes a significant effect on ice accretion on the insulator.The impact of an AC electric field on insulator icing in an artificial climate chamber has been addressed.Compared with AC,DC electric field exerts an attraction on supercooled water droplets,which is more detrimental to the power system.Moreover,the icing on energised insulators is rarely studied in the natural environment.In the present research,an electrical,fluid coupled‐field simulation was carried out on the insulator.The force characteristics and motion deviation features of water droplets at different positive DC electric field strengths were studied.On this basis,rime icing on the insulator energised with different positive DC voltages was investigated in the field.Results show that the charged droplet shifts along the electric field line under a positive DC voltage.The deviation degree of the droplet increases with the increment of the voltage and droplet size and decreases with an increase in wind speed.As the voltage rises,the surface roughness,icing amount and icing length of rime ice‐covered insulator increase.Consequently,compared with that without energisation,the local collision coefficient,icing amount and icing length increase by 17.6%,46.4%and 63.9%,respectively,under a 40 kV DC voltage. | Zongyuan Liu Yuyao Hu Xingliang Jiang Lei Chen Mingchen Chi Feiyan Han Chong Zhao | 2023 | High Voltage2023,8,5: | 0 |
