| 1 | Potential role of strike-slip faults in opening up the South China Sea显示文摘Radiometric dates of key rock units indicate that a remnant Late Mesozoic ocean of the Huatung Basin is still preserved today east of the South China Sea(SCS).We integrate regional geology with a Cretaceous oceanic basement in the vicinity of the Huatung Basin to reconstruct the Huatung Plate east of the Eurasian continent.Results of geophysical investigations,four expeditions of deep-sea drilling and a renaissance of regional geology allow us to propose a hypothesis that the mechanism responsible for the SCS opening was raised from strike-slip fault on the east.The hypothesis suggests that the SCS opening could highly relate to the strike-slip faults inherited from Late Mesozoic structures onshore–offshore the SE Cathaysia Block to develop rhombic-shaped extensional basins en echelon on the thinned Eurasian continental crust in the Early Cenozoic.It was followed by sinistral strike-slip movements along the boundary between the Eurasian Plate and the Huatung Plate driven by oblique subduction of the Huatung Plate to the northwest coupled with slab-pull force by southward subduction of the Proto-SCS to open up the triangle-shaped oceanic East Sub-basin in the Early Oligocene(33/34 Ma).The spreading ridge then propagated southwestward in the step-over segment between the Zhongnan-Lile and the Red River strike-slip fault systems to open the triangle-shaped oceanic Southwest Sub-basin by 23 Ma.The plate boundary fault was subsequently converted into the Manila Trench when the Eocene Sierra Madre arc of the Huatung Plate had moved from the south to its present latitude by the Middle Miocene. | Chi-Yue Huang Pinxian Wang Mengming Yu Chen-Feng You Char-Shine Liu Xixi Zhao Lei Shao Guangfa Zhong Graciano P.Yumul Jr | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,5: | 16 |

| 6 | Formation of Hengchun Accretionary Prism Turbidites and Implications for Deep-water Transport Processes in the Northern South China Sea显示文摘Located at the end of the northern Manila Trench,the Hengchun Peninsula is the latest exposed part of Taiwan Island,and preserves a complete sequence of accretionary deep-sea turbidite sandstones.Combined with extensive field observations,a’source-to-sink’approach was employed to systematically analyze the formation and evolutionary process of the accretionary prism turbidites on the Hengchun Peninsula.Lying at the base of the Hengchun turbidites are abundant mafic normal oceanic crust gravels with a certain degree of roundness.The gravels with U-Pb ages ranging from 25.4 to23.6 Ma are underlain by hundreds-of-meters thickness of younger deep-sea sandstone turbidites with interbedded gravels.This indicates that large amounts of terrigenous materials from both the’Kontum-Ying-Qiong’River of Indochina and the Pearl River of South China were transported into the deep-water areas of the northern South China Sea during the late Miocene and further eastward in the form of turbidity currents.The turbidity flow drastically eroded and snatched mafic materials from the normal South China Sea oceanic crust along the way,and subsequently unloaded large bodies of basic gravel-bearing sandstones to form turbidites near the northern Manila Trench.With the Philippine Sea Plate drifting clockwise to the northwest,these turbidite successions eventually migrated and,since the Middle Pleistocene,were exposed as an accretionary prism on the Hengchun Peninsula. | CUI Yuchi SHAO Lei YU Mengming HUANG Chiyue | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1: | 1 |

| 8 | The modelling and application of cross-scale human behavior in realizing the shop-floor digital twin[version 1;peer review:1 approved with reservations,1 not approved]显示文摘The digital twin shop-floor has received much attention from the manufacturing industry as it is an important way to upgrade the shop-floor digitally and intelligently.As a key part of the shop-floor,humans'high autonomy and uncertainty leads to the difficulty in digital twin modeling of human behavior.Therefore,the modeling system for cross-scale human behavior in digital twin shop-floors was developed,powered by the data fusion of macro-behavior and micro-behavior virtual models.Shop-floor human macro-behavior mainly refers to the role of the human and their real-time position.Shop-floor micro-behavior mainly refers to real-time human limb posture and production behavior at their workstation.In this study,we reviewed and summarized a set of theoretical systems for cross-scale human behavior modeling in digital twin shop-floors.Based on this theoretical system,we then reviewed modeling theory and technology from macro-behavior and micro-behavior aspects to analyze the research status of shop-floor human behavior modeling.Lastly,we discuss and offer opinion on the application of cross-scale human behavior modeling in digital twin shop-floors.Cross-scale human behavior modeling is the key for realizing closed-loop interactive drive of human behavior in digital twin shop-floors. | Tingyu Liu Mengming Xia Qing Hong Yifeng Sun Pei Zhang Liang Fu Ke Chen | 2021 | Digital Twin2021,1,1: | 0 |
