| 1 | Graphene-Coated Optical Fiber SPR Biosensor for BRCA1 and BRCA2 Breast Cancer Biomarker Detection:a Numerical Design-Based Analysis显示文摘This paper provides a simple hybrid design and numerical analysis of the graphene-coated fiber-optic surface plasmon resonance(SPR)biosensor for breast cancer gene-1 early onset(BRCA1)and breast cancer gene-2 early onset(BRCA2)genetic breast cancer detection.Two specific mutations named 916delTT and 6174delT in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 are selected for numerical detection of breast cancer.This sensor is based on the technique of the attenuated total reflection(ATR)method to detect deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)hybridization along with individual point mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.We have numerically shown that momentous changes present in the SPR angle(minimum:135%more)and surface resonance frequency(SRF)(minimum:136%more)for probe DNA with various concentrations of target DNA corresponding to a mutation of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.The variation of the SPR angle and SRF for mismatched DNA strands is quite negligible,whereas that for complementary DNA strands is considerable,which is essential for proper detection of genetic biomarkers(916delTT and 6174delT)for early breast cancer.At last,the effect of electric field distribution in inserting graphene layer is analyzed incorporating the finite difference time domain(FDTD)technique by using Lumerical FDTD solution commercial software.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of such a highly efficient biosensor for detecting BRCA1 and BRCA2 breast cancer.Therefore,the proposed biosensor opens a new window toward the detection of breast cancers. | Md.Biplob HOSSAIN Md.Muztahidul ISLAM Lway Faisal ABDULRAZAK Md.Masud RANA Tarik Bin Abdul AKIB Mehedi HASSAN | 2020 | Photonic Sensors2020,10,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Interaction of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide with drug in aqueous/electrolyte solution:A combined conductometric and molecular dynamics method study显示文摘Interaction between beta-lactum antibiotic drug ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CFH)and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)was performed conductometrically in aqueous as well as in the occurrence of different salts(NaCl,KCl as well as NH_4Cl)over the temperature range of 298.15–323.15 K at the regular interval of 5 K.CFH drug has been suggested for the treatment of bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and acute sinusitis.A clear critical micelle concentration(CMC)was obtained for pure CTAB as well as(CFH+CTAB)mixed systems.The decrease in CMC values of CTAB caused by the addition of CFH reveals the existence of the interaction between the components and therefore it is the indication of micelle formation at lower concentration of CTAB and their CMC values further decrease in attendance of salts.A nonlinear behavior in the CMC versus T plot was observed in all the cases.The ΔG_m^0 values are found to be negative in present study systems demonstrated the stability of the solution.The values of ΔH_m^0 and ΔS_m^0 reveal the existence of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between CFH and CTAB.The thermodynamic properties of transfer for the micellization were also evaluated and discussed in detail.Molecular dynamic simulation disclosed that environment of water and salts have impact on the hydrophobic interaction between CFH and CTAB.In water and salts,CTAB adopts spherical micelle in which charged hydrophilic groups are interacted with waters whereas hydrophobic tails form the core of the micelle.This hydrophobic core region is highly conserved and protected.In addition,micelle formation is more favorable in aqueous Na Cl solution than other solutions. | Md.Anamul Hoque Md.Masud Alam Mohammad Robel Molla Shahed Rana Malik Abdul Rub Mohammad A.Halim Mohammed Abdullah Khan Farida Akhtar | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,1: | 3 |
| 3 | A Numerical Approach to Design the Kretschmann Configuration Based Refractive Index Graphene-MoS_(2) Hybrid Layers With TiO_(2)-SiO_(2) Nano for Formalin Detection显示文摘In this paper,a Kretschmann configuration based surface plasmon resonance(SPR)sensor is numerically designed using graphene-MoS_(2) hybrid structure TiO_(2)-SiO_(2) nano particles for formalin detection.In this design,the observations of SPR angle versus minimum reflectance and SPR frequency(FSPR)versus maximum transmittance(Tmax)are considered.The chitosan is used as probe legend to perform reaction with the formalin(40%formaldehyde)which acts as target legend.In this paper,both graphene and MoS_(2) are used as biomolecular acknowledgment element(BAE)and TiO_(2) as well as SiO_(2) bilayers is used to improve the sensitivity of the sensor.The numerical results show that the variation of FSPR and SPR angles for inappropriate sensing of formalin is quite insignificant which confirms the absence of formalin.On the other hand,these variations for appropriate sensing are considerably significant that confirm the presence of formalin.At the end of this article,the variation of sensitivity of the proposed biosensor is measured in corresponding to the increment of a refractive index with a refractive index step 0.01 refractive index unit(RIU).In inclusion of TiO_(2)-SiO_(2) bilayers with graphene-MoS_(2),a maximum sensitivity of 85.375%is numerically calculated. | Md.Biplob HOSSAIN Tamanna TASNIM Lway F.ABDULRAZAK Md.Masud RANA Md.Rabiul ISLAM | 2020 | Photonic Sensors2020,10,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Effect of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)on the morphology and physical properties of poly(vinyl alcohol)/sodium montmorillonite nanocomposite films显示文摘Nanocomposites of poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA),poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)(PVP) and sodium montmorillonite(Na^+MMT) were prepared by solution mixing and then cast into films.X-ray diffraction analysis and images of transmission electron microscopy establish the formation of PVA/Na^+MMT intercalated nanocomposite.Exfoliated and highly intercalated PVA/PVP/Na^+MMT nanocomposite formed in the presence of PVP.Inclusion of PVP in PVA/Na^+MMT matrix enhances the hydrogen bonding interactions between PVA and Na^+MMT and thus increases the mechanical properties and thermal stability of PVA/PVP/Na^+MMT nanocomposites compared to PVA/Na^+MMT nanocomposite.The interactions between PVA,PVP and Na^+MMT were established by the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The moisture absorption tendency of both the PVA and PVA/PVP films reduced after the incorporation of Na^+MMT at 75%constant relative humidity.Differential scanning calorimetry studies show that the presence of PVP and Na^+MMT both are responsible for reducing the heat of fusion,and crystallinity of PVA.The flow behavior of the PVA,PVA/PVP and its nanocomposite solutions has been also studied.Water vapor permeability of PVA/PVP/Na^+MMT composite films decreased in the presence of nanoclay due to increasing tortuous paths for diffusion. | Dibyendu Mondal Md.Masud R.Mollick Biplab Bhowmick Dipanwita Maity Mrinal K.Bain Dipak Rana Asis Mukhopadhyay Kausik Dana Dipankar Chattopadhyay | 2013 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2013,23,6: | 0 |

| 6 | Gradient Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning Based Failure Detection and Classification in the Industrial Environment显示文摘Failure detection is an essential task in industrial systems for preventing costly downtime and ensuring the seamlessoperation of the system. Current industrial processes are getting smarter with the emergence of Industry 4.0.Specifically, various modernized industrial processes have been equipped with quite a few sensors to collectprocess-based data to find faults arising or prevailing in processes along with monitoring the status of processes.Fault diagnosis of rotating machines serves a main role in the engineering field and industrial production. Dueto the disadvantages of existing fault, diagnosis approaches, which greatly depend on professional experienceand human knowledge, intellectual fault diagnosis based on deep learning (DL) has attracted the researcher’sinterest. DL reaches the desired fault classification and automatic feature learning. Therefore, this article designs a Gradient Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning-based Failure Detection and Classification (GOAHDLFDC)in the industrial environment. The presented GOAHDL-FDC technique initially applies continuous wavelettransform (CWT) for preprocessing the actual vibrational signals of the rotating machinery. Next, the residualnetwork (ResNet18) model was exploited for the extraction of features from the vibration signals which are thenfed into theHDLmodel for automated fault detection.
