1A new choice of stent for transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt creation: Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/bare metal stent combination显示文摘Objectives:To compare the clinical outcomes in terms of structure and function between the insertion of a transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS) created with the Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/bare metal stent(BMS) combination and the Fluency ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination.Methods:A total of 101 consecutive patients who received a TIPS from February 2016 to August 2018 in our center were retrospectively analyzed.Sixty-four subjects were enrolled in the Viabahn group and 37 were enrolled in the Fluency group.The geometry characteristics of the TIPS were calculated,and the associated occurrence of shunt dysfunction,survival,overt hepatic encephalopathy,and variceal rebleeding were evaluated.Results:The technical success rate was 100%.After the insertion of the TIPS,the rate of shunt dysfunction during the first 3 months was significantly different between the Viabahn and Fluency groups(1.6% and 13.5%,respectively;p=0.024).Multivariate analysis indicated that the angle of portal venous inflow(α) was the only independent risk factor for shunt dysfunction(hazard ratio=1.060,95% confidence interval=1.009-1.112,p=0.020).In addition,3 months after the TIPS insertion,the a angle distinctly increased from 20.9°±14.3°-26.9°±20.1°(p=0.005) in the Fluency group but did not change significantly in the Viabahn group(from 21.9°±15.1°-22.9°± 17.6°,p=0.798).Conclusions:Shunt dysfunction was related to the a angle owing to the slight effect on the a angle after the implantation of the TIPS.The Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination was more stable in structure and promised higher short-term stent patency compared with the Fluency ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination.Jiacheng Liu Jie Meng Chen Zhou Qin Shi Chongtu Yang Jinqiang Ma Manman Chen Bin Xiong 2021Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,1:9
2Analysis of the Winter Cloud-to-Ground Lightning Activity and Its Synoptic Background in China during 2010-20显示文摘Cloud-to-ground(CG)lightning data and the ECMWF ERA-Interim reanalysis dataset are analyzed to gain insight into the spatiotemporal distribution and synoptic background of winter-season CG flashes between December 2010 and February 2020 in China.We identify three Winter Lightning Frequent Areas(WLAs):the southwest side of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau(WLA1),the east side of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau(WLA2),and the Poyang Lake Plain(WLA3).The CG lightning flashes most frequently occur at local midnight and have a monthly peak in February.The CG lightning in WLA1 is mostly generated in non-frontal weather;however,the lightning in WLA2 and WLA3 mostly occurs in frontal systems.The frontal circulation situation is divided into four typical types:transversal trough after high pressure,low vortex,confrontational convergence,and asymptotic convergence.In all typical weather patterns,the lightning occurs downstream of a 500 hPa trough and is accompanied by a southwesterly low-level jet.The convective parameters of winter thunderstorms differ greatly from those of summer thunderstorms.The maximum convective available potential energy(MCAPE)and K-index(KI)are more useful metrics than convective available potential energy(CAPE)and Showalter index(SI)during winter.This study further deepens the understanding of the distribution characteristics of winter CG lightning in China,which motivates further research to improve the ability of winter thunderstorm prediction.Manman MA Xiaogang HUANG Jianfang FEI Chi ZHANG Chao LI Xiaoping CHENG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,6:2
3Characterization of microbial communities in sediments of the South Yellow Sea显示文摘Illumina sequencing and quantitative PCR(qPCR)based on the 16 S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)gene were conducted to characterize the vertical distribution of bacterial and archaeal communities in the sediments of two sites from the South Yellow Sea.Both bacterial and archaeal communities showed a clear stratified distribution with sediment depth.The microbial communities in the upper layers were distinct from those in the deeper layers;the relative abundances of sequences of Thaumarchaeota,Gammaproteobacteria,and Actinobacteria were higher in the upper than in the deeper sediments,whereas the sequences of Bathyarchaeia,Lokiarchaeota,Euryarchaeota,Chloroflexi,and Deltaproteobacteria were relatively more abundant in the deeper sediments.Sediment depth and total organic carbon(TOC)can significantly influence both the bacterial and archaeal communities.Furthermore,bacterial and archaeal groups potentially involved in nitrogen,sulfur,and methane metabolism were detected in both sites.In our study,both ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(Nitrospira)and ammonia-oxidizing archaea(Candidatus Nitrosopumilus)were responsible for ammonia oxidization.Additionally,sulfur-reducing bacteria SEEP-SRB1 forming consortia with anaerobic methane-oxidizing archaea ANME-2 a-2 b were capable of anaerobic methane oxidation(AOM)in the 3400-02 sediment samples.Ye CHEN Siqi LI Xiaoqing XU Manman MA Tiezhu MI Yu ZHEN Zhigang YU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3:2
4A Highly Efficient and Selective Water-Soluble Bimetallic Catalyst for Hydrogenation of Chloronitrobenzene to Chloroaniline显示文摘Selective hydrogenation of chloronitrobenzene(CNB) to chloroaniline(CAN) catalyzed by water-soluble Ru/Pt bimetallic catalyst in an aqueous-organic biphasic system was studied. It was found that the catalytic activity increased obviously due to the addition of platinum. Ru/Pt bimetallic catalysts exhibited a strong synergistic effect when the molar ratio of Pt was in the range of 5%—80%. Under the mild conditions including a temperature of 25 ℃, a hydrogen pressure of 1.0 MPa and a Pt molar ratio of 20%, the conversion of p-chloronitrobenzene(p-CNB) reached 99.9%, with the selectivity to p-chloroaniline(p-CAN) equating to 99.4%. The Ru/Pt catalyst also showed high activity and selectivity for the hydrogenation of other chloro- and dichloro-nitrobenzenes with different substituted positions. 5A 2D covalent organic framework with ultra-large interlayer distance as high-rate anode material for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)have been broadly investigated for energy storage systems.However,many COF-based anode materials suffer from low utilization of redox-active sites and sluggish ions/electrons transport caused by their densely stacked layers.Thus,it is still a great challenge to obtain COF-based anode materials with fast ions/electrons transport and thus superior rate performance.Herein,a redox-active piperazine-terephthalaldehyde(PA-TA)COF with ultra-large interlayer distance is designed and synthesized for high-rate anode material,which contains piperazine units adopting a chair-shaped conformation with the nonplanar linkages of a tetrahedral configuration.This unique structure renders PA-TA COF an ultra-large interlayer distance of 6.2Å,and further enables it to achieve outstanding rate and cycling performance.With a high specific capacity of 543 mAh·g^(−1) even after 400 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(−1),it still could afford a specific capacity of 207 mAh·g^(−1) even at a high current density of 5.0 A·g^(−1).Our study indicates that expanding the interlayer distance of COFs by rational molecular design would be of great importance to develop high-rate electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries.Manman Wu Yang Zhao Hongtao Zhang Jie Zhu Yanfeng Ma Chenxi Li Yamin Zhang Yongsheng Chen 2022Nano Research2022,15,11:1
6Understanding Depletion Induced Like-Charge Attraction from Self-Consistent Field Model显示文摘The interaction force between likely charged particles/surfaces is usually repulsive due to the Coulomb interaction.However,the counterintuitive like-charge attraction in electrolytes has been frequently observed in experiments,which has been theoretically debated for a long time.It is widely known that the mean field Poisson-Boltzmann theory cannot explain and predict this anomalous feature since it ignores many-body properties.In this paper,we develop efficient algorithm and perform the force calculation between two interfaces using a set of self-consistent equations which properly takes into account the electrostatic correlation and the dielectric-boundary effects.By solving the equations and calculating the pressure with the Debye-charging process,we show that the self-consistent equations could be used to study the attraction between like-charge surfaces from weak-coupling to mediate-coupling regimes,and that the attraction is due to the electrostatics-driven entropic force which is significantly enhanced by the dielectric depletion of mobile ions.A systematic investigation shows that the interaction forces can be tuned by material permittivity,ionic size and valence,and salt concentration,and that the like-charge attraction exists only for specific regime of these parameters.Pei Liu Manman Ma Zhenli Xu 2017Communications in Computational Physics2017,22,6:0

8A double-layer covered architecture with spinel phase induced by LiPP for Co-free Li-rich cathode with high-rate performance and long lifespan显示文摘Co-free Li-rich Mn-based layered oxides are promising candidates for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their high specific capacity,high voltage,low cost.However,their commercialization is hindered by limited cycle life and poor rate performance.Herein,an in-situ simple and low-cost strategy with a nanoscale double-layer architecture of lithium polyphosphate(LiPP)and spinel phase covered on top of the bulk layered phase,is developed for Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2)(LMNO)using Li^(+)-conductor LiPP(denoted as LMNO@S-LiPP).With such a double-layer covered architecture,the half-cell of LMNO@S-LiPP delivers an extremely high capacity of 202.5 mAh·g^(−1)at 1 A·g^(−1)and retains 85.3%of the initial capacity after 300 cycles,so far,the best highrate electrochemical performance of all the previously reported LMNOs.The energy density of the full-cell assembled with commercial graphite reaches 620.9 Wh·kg^(−1)(based on total weight of active materials in cathode and anode).Mechanism studies indicate that the superior electrochemical performance of LMNO@S-LiPP is originated from such a nanoscale double-layer covered architecture,which accelerates Li-ion diffusion,restrains oxygen release,inhibits interfacial side reactions,suppresses structural degradation during cycling.Moreover,this strategy is applicable for other high-energy-density cathodes,such as LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2),Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2),LiCoO_(2).Hence,this work presents a simple,cost-effective,scalable strategy for the development of high-performance cathode materials.Ruiqi Zhao Manman Wu Peixin Jiao Xueting Wang Jie Zhu Yang Zhao Hongtao Zhang Kai Zhang Chenxi Li Yanfeng Ma Yongsheng Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
9Promotional Effect of CoO(OH) on Selective Hydrogenation of Maleic Anhydride to γ-Butyrolactone over Supported Ruthenium Catalyst显示文摘A decorated ruthenium catalyst was prepared by the coprecipitation method and used for the selective hydrogenation of maleic anhydride(MA) to γ-butyrolactone(GBL). The as-prepared catalyst was characterized by XRD, TGDTG and N2 adsorption techniques. The characterization tests revealed that the catalyst carrier was composed of monoclinic zirconia(m-ZrO2) and hydroxyl cobalt oxide(CoO(OH)). The hydrogenation results showed that the content of CoO(OH), the reaction temperature, the hydrogen pressure and the reaction time significantly affected the catalytic selectivity to GBL. The promotional effect of CoO(OH) was remarkable, which led to an obvious increase in GBL selectivity. 10Advances in airborne microorganisms detection using biosensors:A critical review显示文摘Humanity has been facing the threat of a variety of ifectious diseases.Airborne microorganisms can cause airbome infectious diseases,which spread rapidly and extensively,causing huge losscs to human society on a global scale.In recent years,the detection technology for airbome microorganisms has developed rapidly;it can be roughly divided into biochemical,immune,and molecular technologies.However,these technologies still have some shortcomings;they are time consuming and have low sensitivity and poor stability.Most of them need to be used in the ideal environment of a laboratory,which limits their applications.A biosensor is a device that converts biological signals into detectable signals.As an interdisciplinary feld,biosensors have successfully introduced a variety of technologies for bio-detection.Given their fast analysis speed,high sensitivity good portability,strong specifcity,and low cost,biosensors have been widely uised in cnvironmental monitoring,medical research,food and agricultural safety,military.medicine and other fields.In recent years,the performance of biosensors has greatly improved,becoming.a promising techmology for airborne microorganism detection.This review introduces the detection principle of biosensors from the three aspects of component identification,energy conversion principle,and signal amplification.It also summarizes its research and application in airborne microorganism detection.The new progress and future development trend of the biosensor detection of airbormne microorganisms are analyzed.Jinbiao Ma Manman Du Can Wang Xinwu Xie Hao Wang Qian Zhang 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,3:0
11Characterization of bacterial communities during persistent fog and haze events in the Qingdao coastal region显示文摘Here,we report the characteristics of bacterial communities in aerosols with different particle sizes during two persistent fog and haze events in December of 2015 and 2016 in Qingdao,China.In the early stage of pollution,the accumulation of PM_(2.5) led to the accumulation of microorganisms,thus increasing the bacterial richness and diversity of fine particle sizes.With the persistence and aggravation of pollution,the toxic effect was strengthened,and the bacterial richness and diversity of each particle size decreased.When the particle concentration was highest,the richness and diversity were low for each particle size.Light haze had little influence on bacterial communities.The occurrence of highly polluted humid weather and heavy haze resulted in significant changes in bacterial community diversity,composition and structure,and air pollution exerted a greater influence than particle size on bacterial community structure.During persistent fog and haze events,with the increase of pollutants,bacteria associated with each particle size may be extensively involved in aerosol chemistry,but the degree of participation varies,which requires further study.Manman Ma Bo Zhang Ye Chen Wenrong Feng Tiezhu Mi Jianhua Qi Wenshuai Li Zhigang Yu Yu Zhen 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,3:0
