1Antioxidant activity and total phenolic and flavonoid content of the extract and chemical composition of the essential oil of Eremostachys laciniata collected from Zagros显示文摘Objective: To examine the chemical component of the essential oil of Eremostachys laciniata and evaluate antioxidant activity of the extract.Methods: The hydrodistillated essential oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-flame ionization detector and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. Also, antioxidant activity, total phenolic and flavonoid content were determined by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, Folin-Ciocalteu and colorimetric method, respectively.Results: The major components of the essential oil were p-cymene(21.64%), linalool(17.93%), and a-pinene(11.42%). Also, the extract obtained by methanol showed a good antioxidant activity. 2Seroepidemiology of bluetongue disease in small ruminants of northeast of Iran显示文摘Objective:To estimate the prevalence and distribution of bluetongue vims antibody in sheep and goats in 25 townships of Khorasan Razavi.Bluetongue is an infectious,non-contagious,arthropod born viral disease of ruminants and has been reported from most of the tropical and subtropical regions of the world.Methods:A total number of 1034 serum samples from sheep and goats were collected and transmitted to Serological Laboratory of Veterinary Council of Khorasan Razavi.Serums were screened for the presence of group-specific bluetongue virus antibody using competitive Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay(c-ELISA).Kesults:The seropositivitv of sheep and goats for bluetongue was found to be 89.2%.The highest prevalence rate was seen in Taybad.Khalil-abad and Torbat-jam(100%)and the least prevalence rate was seen in Jovein(55%).Conclusions:The results showed that the majority of animals in the north-east of Iran are infected with bluetongue vims.High correlation between abortion history and seroposivity emphasize the economical importance of bluetongue virus in the sheep herds of the region.Vahid Najarnezhad Mahin Rajae 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013,3,6:7

4Synthesis of a copolymer carrier for anticancer drug luteolin for targeting human breast cancer cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To focus a new chemoprevention approach that uses nanotechnology to deliver luteolin to human breast cancer cells(MCF-7), and its underlying mechanism.METHODS: Water-soluble copolymer-encapsulated nanoparticle-luteolin(CENL) was formulated using the hydrophobic drug luteolin. The ability to load and release he anticancer drug into/from the synthesized hyperbranched polyester was evaluated by high-performance liquid chromatography.The successful synthesis of CENL was supported by analytical techniques including fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography,and dynamic light scattering. Cell viability was measured using the 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide color method. Reactive oxygen species(ROS) were measured using a dichlorofluorescein probe and intracellular calcium(Cai2+) was evaluated with a flu3-AM probe.RESULTS: The results showed that the drug delivery system is stable and that the loading capacity is high. 5由废旧锂离子电池合成碱式碳酸钴纳米片的热分解动力学:重叠复杂反应的反卷积(英文)显示文摘采用一种新的非等温动力学分析方法,研究由废旧锂离子电池(LIBs)合成的碱式碳酸钴纳米片(n-BCoC)的热分解动力学模拟。对线性升温速率条件下获得的总微分热重曲线,运用Fraser-Suzuki函数进行重叠复杂过程的反卷积,然后用一种新的动力学分析方法对各个离散过程进行动力学分析。结果表明,在136~270°C范围内,n-BCoC在空气中的分解是通过两个连续反应进行的。n-BCoC的分解过程是从氢氧化物Co(OH)_2的分解开始的,直到(失重)65%;同时碳酸盐相也开始脱碳。脱碳过程持续进行,释放出CO_2,最终形成碳酸钴纳米片。整个过程的反应机理可用两个连续反应描述:一个是相边界收缩反应,另一个符合Avrami-Erofeev方程。动力学研究得到的(反应)机制信息与傅里叶变换红外光谱和扫描电镜的分析结果吻合较好。Hossein EBRAHIMZADE Gholam Reza KHAYATI Mahin SCHAFFIE 2018Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2018,28,6:2
6Bone marrow microenvironment: The guardian of leukemia stem cells显示文摘Bone marrow microenvironment (BMM) is the main sanctuary of leukemic stem cells (LSCs) and protects these cells against conventional therapies. However, it may open up an opportunity to target LSCs by breaking the close connection between LSCs and the BMM. The elimination of LSCs is of high importance, since they follow cancer stem cell theory as a part of this population. Based on cancer stem cell theory, a cell with stem cell-like features stands at the apex of the hierarchy and produces a heterogeneous population and governs the disease. Secretion of cytokines, chemokines, and extracellular vesicles, whether through autocrine or paracrine mechanisms by activation of downstream signaling pathways in LSCs, favors their persistence and makes the BMM less hospitable for normal stem cells. While all details about the interactions of the BMM and LSCs remain to be elucidated, some clinical trials have been designed to limit these reciprocal interactions to cure leukemia more effectively. 9Prevalence of depression and anxiety among children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background Evaluation of psychiatric disorders in children is essential in timely treatment.Despite individual studies,there is no information on the exact status of psychiatric disorders in children.The present study was conducted to determine the prevalence of depression among children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.Methods This meta-analysis is registered with PROSPERO(CRD42021231491).Several databases(Web of Science,Scopus,and PubMed)were searched from January 1,2000 to December 15,2020.The key words included:depression,anxiety,children,and diabetes.The steps of search,comprising screening,risk of bias,and extraction of study data,were performed separately by two researchers.Results It was found that a total of 109 studies had been conducted involving 52,493 children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.These studies were included in the present review study.The prevalence of depression,anxiety among children with type 1 diabetes were 22.2%[95%confidence interval(CI)19.2–25.2],and 17.7%(95%CI 15.2–20.1),respectively.The prevalence of depression was higher among girls(29.7%)than boys(19.7%).The prevalence of depression was higher in lower-middle-income countries at 29.3%(95%CI 18.6–40.0).The prevalence of depression among children with type 2 diabetes was 22.7%(95%CI 17.3–28.0).Conclusion The results of the present study indicate the importance of paying attention to extensive periodic screening and appropriate activities to reduce pediatric depression.Majidreza Akbarizadeh Mahin Naderi far Fereshteh Ghaljaei 2022World Journal of Pediatrics2022,18,1:2
