| 1 | FLOOD DISCHARGE AND ENERGY DISSIPATION BY JETS FROM OUTLETS IN HIGH ARCH DAM显示文摘In this thesis, the scale effect by an aerated water jet diffusing in the water upon the hydrodynamic pressure, the local riverbed scour by multiple layered jets and by those colliding in the vertical and the transverse directions, and the stability of the apron slab both in the inverted arch cushion pool and the flat bottom one by the large discharge and the high water head with 300m level are detailedly researched by means of model test and numerical simulation. A mathematic model simulating the destabilization of the flat bottomed slab is established to open out the mechanism of its stability. | 3 | EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FLOWFIELD STRUCTURE AROUND AN OGIVE-CYLINDER显示文摘The flowfield structure and their aerodynamic characteristics over an ogive cylinder were studied by means of flow visualization and surface pressure measurement in a water tunnel and a wind tunnel. The existence of multi asymmetric vortices over long slender bodies was experimentally confirmed at large angles of attack and in the subcritical Reynolds number range. The spatial 3 D characteristics of the multi vortices system were analyzed and a physical model was developed. The topological structure of different patterns in cross flow plane was studied and the mechanism governing the formation of asymmetric vortices and multi vortices was discussed from the viewpoint of stability of the topological structure. | 6 | NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF CAVITATING FLOWS显示文摘A new model, which involves viscous and multi-phase effects, was given to study cavitating flows. A local compressible model was established by introducing a density-pressure function to account for the two-phase flow of water/vapor and the transition from one phase to the other. An algorithm for calculating variable-density N-S equations of cavitating flow problem was put forward. The present method yields reasonable results for both steady and unsteady cavitating flows in 2D and 3D cases. The numerical results of unsteady character of cavitating flows around hydrofoils coincide well with experimental data. | 8 | RESEARCH ON THE METHOD AND CALCULATION OF THE NEW SLENDER-SHIP WAVE RESISTANCE THEORY显示文摘Analyses of the new slender-ship theory of wave resistance were made and corresponding calculation methods were proposed. Based on these theoretical methods, the calculations of wave resistance of near surface submersible, Wigley hull and vertical/canted strut SWATHs were conducted. In the single and double integral parts of Green’s function, the method of special function expansion and Chebyshev polynomial approach were adopted respectively. The formulas for zeroth-first-and second-order wave-making resistance were derived. In a towing tank, the calm water resistance experiment of SWATH model ASW-2 with canted strut was conducted and researched. The influences of waterline integral term, the surface mesh number, element node number, range of the integration and truncation of special function expansions on velocity potential and numerical results of resistance were investigated, and the difference between the zeroth-order and first-order wave resistance was analyzed. | 14 | Motion estimation in wide band synthetic aperture sonar based on the raw echo data using the method of displaced phase center antenna显示文摘Phase errors in synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) imaging must be reduced to less than one eighth of a wavelength so as to avoid image destruction. Most of the phase errors occur as a result of platform motion errors, for example, sway yaw and surge that are the most important error sources. The phase error of a wide band synthetic aperture sonar is modeled and solutions to sway yaw and surge motion estimation based on the raw sonar echo data with a Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA) method are proposed and their implementations are detailed in this paper. It is shown that the sway estimates can be obtained from the correlation lag and phase difference between the returns at coincident phase centers. An estimate of yaw is also possible if such a technique is applied to more than one overlapping phase center positions. Surge estimates can be obtained by identifying pairs of phase centers with a maximum correlation coefficient. | 16 | Leapfrog:Optimal Opportunistic Routing in Probabilistically Contacted Delay Tolerant Networks显示文摘Delay tolerant networks(DTNs) experience frequent and long lasting network disconnection due to various reasons such as mobility,power management,and scheduling.One primary concern in DTNs is to route messages to keep the end-to-end delivery delay as low as possible.In this paper,we study the single-copy message routing problem and propose an optimal opportunistic routing strategy—Leapfrog Routing—for probabilistically contacted DTNs where nodes encounter or contact in some fixed probabilities.We deduce the iterative computation formulate of minimum expected opportunistic delivery delay from each node to the destination,and discover that under the optimal opportunistic routing strategy,messages would be delivered from high-delay node to low-delay node in the leapfrog manner.Rigorous theoretical analysis shows that such a routing strategy is exactly the optimal among all possible ones.Moreover,we apply the idea of Reverse Dijkstra algorithm to design an algorithm.When a destination is given,this algorithm can determine for each node the routing selection function under the Leapfrog Routing strategy.The computation overhead of this algorithm is only O(n^2) where n is the number of nodes in the network.In addition,through extensive simulations based on real DTN traces,we demonstrate that our algorithm can significantly outperform the previous ones. | 肖明军 黄刘生 Senior Member 董群峰 刘安 杨振国 | 2009 | Journal of Computer Science & Technology2009,24,5: | 3 |
| 17 | Global-to-Local Approach to Rigorously Developing Distributed System with Exception Handling显示文摘Cooperative distributed system covers a wide range of applications such as the systems for industrial controlling and business-to-business trading, which are usually safety-critical. Coordinated exception handling (CEH) refers to exception handling in the cooperative distributed systems, where exceptions raised on a peer should be dealt with by all relevant peers in a consistent manner. Some CEH algorithms have been proposed. A crucial problem in using these algorithms is how to develop the peers which are guaranteed coherent in both normal execution and exceptional execution. Straightforward testing or model checking is very expensive. In this paper, we propose an e?ective way to rigorously develop the systems with correct CEH behavior. Firstly, we formalize the CEH algorithm by proposing a Peer Process Language to precisely describe the distributed systems and their operational semantics. Then we dig out a set of syntactic conditions, and prove its su?ciency for system coherence. Finally, we propose a global-to-local approach, including a language describing the distributed systems from a global perspective and a projection algorithm, for developing the systems. Given a well-formed global description, a set of peers can be generated automatically.
