Effect of Pouring Process on the Microstructures of Semi-Solid AlSi_7Mg Alloy显示文摘The effect of different pouring temperatures and different pouring heights, the distance between the mouth of the pouring ladle and the top of the mold, on the microstructure of AlSi7Mg alloy have been researched in the paper. When the pouring temperature is close to the liquidus temperature, the primary α-Al in the billets of AlSi7Mg alloy solidified into spherical and nodular fine grains distributed homogeneously. The optimum pouring temperature for semi-solid AlSi7Mg billet with spherical or nodular primary α-Al is 615℃. At the same pouring temperature, the higher the pouring ladle, the more easily the spherical and nodular primary α-Al obtained in the semi-solid AlSi7Mg billet. When the pouring temperature is close to the liquidus temperature and the pouring ladle is relatively high, it is the great cooling rate, the flow of the molten alloy caused by pouring and the large simultaneous solidification region induced by the near liquidus temperature, that promote the formation of spherical or nodular primary α-Al. | Weimin MAO, Chenglin CUT, Aimin ZHAO, Jilian YANG and Xueyou ZHONG Foundry Institute, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing 100083, China | 2001 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,6: | 17
A Water/Land Segmentation Algorithm Based on an Improved Chan-Vese Model with Edge Constraints of Complex Wavelet Domain显示文摘A novel model for segmentation of water/land in Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images is presented. The proposed model calculates the global matrix of oriented gradient of histograms on wavelet subbands based on the multi-scale property, shift invariance and directional selectivity of Complex wavelet transform(CWT), then acquires edge information by thresholding the matrix. It improves the traditional Chan-vese(CV) model by adding the constraint of extracted edge information. A new water/land segmentation algorithm is then proposed based on the new model. The performance of proposed method is compared with some other existing algorithms and the experimental results confirm its effectiveness. | MAO Chenglin WAN Shouhong YUE Lihua XIA Yu | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2015,24,2: | 7
Temperature Field and Microstructural Formation of Semi-Solid AlSi_7Mg Alloy显示文摘The microstructural formation of the semi-solid AlSi7Mg alloy stirred by electromagnetic field is investigated together withthe tempeatre field of the stirred melt at continuously cooling. A impoat kinetic factor for primny a-Al nucleation is proposed. It isfound that a low temperatUre gradient exists in the electromagnetic stirred melt. This is why the first dendritic arms and secondary de-ndritic arms are refmed. Experimefltal results also show that the root remelting of secontw dendritic arms is an twortat mechanismfor the primary α-Al refmement. Strong electromagnetic stirring greatly reduces the composition supercooling in the melt and eliminatesprefedrig growth of the first dendritic arms. Therefore, many rosettes or spherical Primary α-Al phase particles form finally. | Weimin Mao Aimin Zhao Yan jun Li Chenglin Cui Feng Sun Xuryou Zhong(Material Science and Engineering School, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing 100083, China) | 2000 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2000,14,2: | 2
RESEARCH ON PERFECT DYADIC BINARY SEQUENCE PAIR显示文摘In this paper, the perfect dyadic binary sequence pair with one-value dyadic correlation functions is presented. That is, the perfect dyadic binary sequence pair is a perfect discrete signal, for its dyadic relative function is δ-function. The transformation features and some existing admissibility conditions of perfect dyadic binary sequence pair are discussed, and the properties for this kind of code in Walsh transformation spectrum and weight spectrum are also analyzed. From above, It is found that the perfect dyadic binary sequence pair can easily differentiate from its dyadic shifting. So these good signals can used in engineering as synchronization code, multi-user code and so on. | Mao Fei Jiang Ting Zhao Chenglin Zhou Zheng | 2006 | Journal of Electronics(China)2006,23,3: | 2

Effect of lump ore ratio on the metallurgical properties of blast furnace charge显示文摘We conducted a series of experimental studies on the metallurgical properties of N-lump and F-lump ores used in Baosteel’s blast furnace, including thermal cracking, low-temperature reduction pulverization, reducibility, and droplet properties. The results show that the thermal burst properties of N-lump ore are better than those of F-lump ore.The low-temperature reduction degradation index(RDI) pulverization of the charge is the best when the ratios of N-lump ore and F-lump ore account for 35% each. The reduction performance of the charge is improved when F-lump and N-lump ores are mixed with sinter. In the softening-melting performance experiment, when the proportion of N-lump ore is 40%,the characteristic area value(S) as the charge permeability index is the smallest. When F-lump ore is mixed with sinter, its droplet performance improves compared with that of single F-lump ore.The proportion of F-lump ore should not exceed 15%. | TAN Chenglin MAO Xiaoming XU Wanren | 2023 | Baosteel Technical Research2023,17,4: | 0
