| 1 | 下颌角肥大整形术相关解剖显示文摘目的精细解剖下颌角周围软组织结构及下颌神经管,为下颌角肥大整形术提供解剖学参考。方法20例大体标本,观察及测量面动静脉、面神经下颌缘支及咬肌区的血管和神经。据下颌骨表面骨性标志定位5条径线,测量该5条径线上下颌神经管在下颌骨中的位置。计算各软组织结构和下颌神经管的安全范围。结果面动脉距下颌角点为23. 18~36. 28 mm,距咬肌前缘为-9. 51~9. 27 mm。面静脉距离下颌角点为17. 79~32. 03mm。面神经下颌缘支贴近下颌角部及下颌骨下缘走行,距离下颌角点为-8. 57~10. 70 mm,而咬肌前缘下颌缘支距下颌骨下缘为-8. 83~11. 06 mm。咬肌的血供主要有面动脉咬肌支、颈外动脉咬肌支、上颌动脉咬肌支及面横动脉咬肌支这四大来源。咬肌神经多与咬肌动脉伴行进入咬肌。下颌神经管在5个截面中距离下颌骨外侧点分别大于10. 50 mm、14. 72 mm、15. 60 mm、8. 53 mm、6. 74 mm。结论在剥离下颌角区软组织时,注意对咬肌前缘面动脉、面神经下颌缘支及下颌角点附近面神经下颌缘支的保护。去除咬肌的最佳层次为咬肌深层中份最厚点及中下份。而在截骨或劈骨时,根据下颌神经管的安全范围,可在下颌骨颊侧骨板快速画出一条指导性的安全线。 | 陈卡娜 邵正仁 范华 李理 MARIYA M.El Akka wi 颜玲 | 2018 | 解剖学报2018,49,5: | 4 |
| 2 | Land desertification and restoration in Middle East and North Africa(MENA) region显示文摘The Middle East and North Africa(MENA) region is characterized by high population growth, degraded and fragile natural ecosystems, and a limited amount of arable lands. It is one of the most water-scarce regions in the world. The region is heterogeneous in terms of the countries' economies, but because it includes some of the richest and some of the poorest countries in the world, regional average economic performance statistics are misleading. The region is mostly semi-arid and arid, with significant areas of extreme aridity. These areas are further challenged by extreme temperatures, frequent drought, land degradation, and desertification. Recent changes in climate patterns, such as prolonged droughts, record temperatures, and increased rainfall irregularity, intensity and distribution, have all further negatively impacted the natural and agro-ecosystems in the region. Such changes have led to increased vulnerability of the people dependent on such resources for their livelihood. This article focuses on the impact of land desertification due to climate changes on the prevailing natural resources, and discusses several approaches for mitigating or alleviating desertification. It is clear that water shortage is a problem in many countries of this predominantly arid region, and is unlikely to be reduced and may be exacerbated by climate change. Proposed adaptation strategies might include more efficient organization of water supplies, treatment, and delivery systems, and increased use of groundwater. It is necessary to develop alternative production and management systems appropriate to the socioeconomic and environmental conditions in order to prevent further degradation of the prevailing agro-ecosystems and sustain the livelihoods of farmers living in marginal conditions. Grasslands, livestock, and water resources are likely to be most vulnerable to climate change in the region because they are located mostly in marginal areas. | 3 | Is biliary bile acid a good predictor for acute cellular rejection in living donor liver transplantation?显示文摘BACKGROUND:In liver transplantation,acute cellular rejection(ACR)is still a major complication that can lead to mortality.Bile secretion has been considered as a marker of early graft function. METHODS:The study included 41 adults who received living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)at Kyoto University Hospital between April 2007 and February 2008. The patients were stratified according to the presence or absence of ACR.Bile samples were collected from donors once and from recipients every other day for the first 2 weeks after transplantation.Total bile acid(BA)and taurine-conjugated bile acid(TCBA)in bile were measured by magnetic resonance spectroscopy.The recipient/donor (R/D)BA ratio and R/D TCBA ratio were calculated. RESULTS:The ACR group(n=12)showed a greater decrease in BA post-transplantation than the non-ACR group,but this difference was not statistically significant. On both day 7 and day 9 post-transplantation the R/D TCBA was significantly different between the two groups (P=0.038 on day 7 and P=0.036 on day 9).The R/D TCBA ratio≥0.5 on days 7 and 9,and≥0.38 on day 11 post- transplantation were associated with better ACR-free survival. | 7 | First-principles prediction of the magnetism of 4f rare-earth-metal-doped wurtzite zinc oxide显示文摘Electronic structure and magnetic properties of wurtzite ZnO semiconductor doped with rare earth(RE=La, Ce, Pr, Pm, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb) atoms were studied using spin-polarized density functional theory based on the full-potential linear augmented plane wave(FP-LAPW) method as implemented in the Wien2 k code. In this approach the generalized gradient approximation(GGA) was used for the exchange-correlation(XC) potential. Our results showed that the substitution of RE ions in ZnO induced spins polarized localized states in the band gap. Moreover, the studied DMSs compounds retained half metallicity at dopant concentration x=0.625% for most of the studied elements, with 100% spin polarization at the Fermi level(EF). The total magnetic moments of these compounds existed due to RE 4f states present at EF, while small induced magnetic moments existed on other non-magnetic atoms as well. Finally, the energy difference between far and near configurations was investigated. It was found that the room temperature ferromagnetism was possible for RE-doped ZnO at near configuration. | 9 | Structural and thermoelectric properties of copper sulphide powders显示文摘Over the past few years, Cu-based materials have been intensively studied focusing on their structural and thermoelectric properties. In this work, copper sulphide powders were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The chemical composition and the morphological properties of the obtained samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. It is shown that the decomposition from one phase to another can be obtained by annealing. The electrical resistivity and the crystallite size were found to be strongly affected by the phase transition. Thermoelectric analyses showed that the digenite phase exhibits the highest power factor at room temperature. The Seebeck coefficient of the compound Cu_(1.8)S shows a pronounced peak at the γ-β transition temperature. | 11 | Childhood glaucoma profile in Dakahelia, Egypt: a retrospective study显示文摘AIM: To analyze childhood glaucoma regarding its demographics, presentations, different causes and surgical modalities used among patients in Dakahelia and to apply the Childhood Glaucoma Research Network(CGRN) classification retrospectively to evaluate its convenience.METHODS: A retrospective study in which the medical files of all glaucoma patients <16 years old presented to Mansoura Ophthalmic Center, Mansoura University from 2014 to 2017, were retrieved and analyzed. Collected data included: age, gender, laterality, visual acuity(VA), refraction, intraocular pressure(IOP), corneal diameter, cup-disc ratio, types and number of surgeries and antiglaucomatous drugs(AGD) at the first and last visit. Prevalence of different subtypes was calculated and means of clinical features were compared.RESULTS: A total of 305 eyes of 207 patients were included classified into 6 groups: primary congenital glaucoma(PCG), juvenile open angle glaucoma(JOAG), glaucoma associated with systemic disease, glaucoma associated with ocular anomalies, acquired glaucoma and glaucoma following cataract surgery. PCG was the predominant type(55.1%) followed by acquired glaucoma(29.5%). Males represented 63.8% of the whole studied patients. Glaucoma associated with ocular anomaly group showed the youngest age at diagnosis(21.9±30.0 mo). The shortest corneal diameter was recorded in post cataract group(10.4±0.5 mm). Highest cup-disc ratio was found in the PCG group(P<0.0005). Glaucoma associated with systemic disease presented with the highest baseline IOP(34.5±5.0 mm Hg). All the cases with PCG were treated surgically with 21.8% required more than one surgery. The majority of the patients(74.2%) in the acquired group were treated medically. Combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy was the most frequent operation done, accounting for 34.5% of all primary surgeries. Ahmed valve implantation comprised 87% of the secondary surgeries. Acquired glaucoma group had the highest percent of eyes with good final Snellen's VA(69.4%), while glaucoma associated with ocular anomaly group had poorest final VA. CONCLUSION: PCG is the most prevalent type of childhood glaucoma, followed by acquired glaucoma especially traumatic hyphema. Combined trabeculotomytrabeculectomy and Ahmed valve implantation are the most common surgical interventions. | 19 | Adaptation to climate change in desertified lands of the marginal regions in Egypt through sustainable crop and livestock diversification systems显示文摘Environmental degradation resulting from current climate changes, including prolonged drought, land degradation, desertification, and loss of biodiversity, is presenting enormous challenges to achieve food security and eradication of poverty in the marginal regions(about 90% of the total area) of Egypt. In addition to the natural constraints of high temperature, wind erosion, sand dune movement, and recurrent drought, such regions are subjected to improper land and water management. Moreover, there is a lack of knowledge, technologies, and experiences to match with the current severe climatic changes. There is a great need for establishing sustainable integrated ecosystem rehabilitation and management programs to overcome such problems in the marginal areas, particularly in the Sinai Peninsula due to its strategic and social importance. A series of research and development programs have been conducted in 2006 to improve the livelihoods of smallholders through enhancing the efficient management and utilization of local resources that can cope with the drastic changes of climate in the Sinai Peninsula. An integrated livestock/salt-tolerant fodder crop system was introduced, in 2010 by the project teamwork of Desert Research center, Egypt, to many smallholders in the South Sinai region, where studies were conducted at both the general research and individual farmer levels. The most important results were:(1) adoption of the most salt-tolerant genotypes of three forage crops: pearl millet(Pennisetum glaucum L.), sorghum(Sorghum bicolor), and Sudan grass(Sorghum sudanense(Piper) Stapf.); two cereal crops(triticale and barley); and two oil crops: safflower(Carthamus tinctorius) and Brassica(Mustard). Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L. and Medicago arborium), cowpeas(Vigna sinensis L.), fodder beets(Beta vulgaris L.), clumping desert bunchgrass(Panicum turgedum), ryegrass(Lolium perenne) Ray grass, forage shrubs(Kochia indica, Atriplex nummularia, Sesbania sesban L.), and Acacia cyanophila, Leucaena leucocephala, Porsopis cheilanses, and Prosopis jioflora were also evaluated;(2) active participation of farmers in development of management strategies to improve irrigation water use efficiency, forage production, and livestock production; and(3) economic evaluation at the farmer level, which showed that feeding livestock salt-tolerant fodders produced an increase of about 60% in milk production and 80% in meat production, and reduced feed costs by about 40%. Accordingly, a 70% increase of family income was achieved.
