1The Effects of Estuarine Processes on the Fluxes of Inorganic and Organic Carbon in the Yellow River Estuary显示文摘Riverine carbon flux is an important component of the global carbon cycle. The spatial and temporal variations of organic and inorganic carbon were examined during both dry and wet seasons in the Yellow River estuary. Concentrations of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) in the Yellow River during dry seasons were higher than those during wet seasons. The effective concentrations of DOC (CDOC*) were higher than the observed DOC at zero salinity. This input of DOC in the Yellow River estuary was due to sediment desorption processes in low salinity regions. In contrast to DOC, the effective concen- trations of DIC were 10% lower than the DIC measured at freshwater end, and the loss of DIC was caused by CaCO3 precipitation in low salinity region. Particulate organic carbon (POC) and particulate inorganic carbon (PIC) contents of the particles stabilized to constant values (0.5%±0.05% and 1.8%±0.2%, respectively) within the turbidity maximum zone (TMZ) and showed no noticeable seasonal variations. A rapid drop of PIC and rise of POC occurred simultaneously outside the TMZ due to an intense dilution of riverine inorganic-rich particles being transported into a pool of aquatic organic-poor particles outside the TMZ. 2Homoharringtonine is a safe and effective substitute for anthracyclines in children younger than 2 years old with acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Homoharringtonine (HHT),a plant alkaloid from Cephalotaxus harringtonia,exhibits a unique anticancer mechanism and has been widely used in China to treat patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) since the 1970s.Trial SCMC-AML-2009 presented herein was a randomized clinical study designed based on our previous findings that pediatric AML patients younger than two years old may benefit from HHT-containing chemotherapy regimens.Patients randomized to arm A were treated with a standard chemotherapy regimen comprising mainly of anthracyclines and cytarabine (Ara-C),whereas patients in arm B were treated with HHTcontaining regimens in which anthracyclines in all but the initial induction therapy were replaced by HHT.From February 2009 to November 2015,59 patients less than 2 years old with de novo AML (other than acute promyelocytic leukemia) were recruited.A total of 42 patients achieved a morphologic complete remission (CR) after the first course,with similar rates in both arms (70.6% vs.72.0%).At the end of the follow-up period,40 patients remained in CR and 5 patients underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in CR,which could not be considered as events but censors.The 5-year event-free survival (EFS) was 60.2%± 9.6% for arm A and 88.0%± 6.5% for arm B (P=0.024).Patients in arm B experienced shorter durations of leukopenia,neutropenia,and thrombocytopenia and had a lower risk of infection during consolidation chemotherapy with high-dosage Ara-C.Consequently,the homoharringtonine-based regimen achieved excellent EFS and alleviated hematologic toxicity for children aged younger than 2 years with de novo AML compared with the anthracycline-based regimen.Xiaoxiao Chen Yanjing Tang Jing Chen Ru Chen Longjun Gu Huiliang Xue Ci Pan Jingyan Tang Shuhong Shen 2019Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,3:3

5约束库仑能^(208)Pb中子皮厚度和对称能显示文摘The charge-symmetry-breaking(CSB)effect in a nuclear medium that gives rise to the first-order symmetry energy in finite nuclei is discussed in detail in the present work.For heavy and superheavy nuclei with large neutron excesses,it should be nonnegligible in high-precision mass predictions,and importantly it affects the stability of these nuclei.Combined with this CSB effect,we have constrained the Coulomb energy with the mirror nuclei and then extracted the mass-dependent symmetry energy coefficient of heavy nuclei[1].Based on our previous work,we have further explored the neutron skin thickness Rnp of ^(208)Pb and the density dependence of the symmetry energy of nuclear matter.Dong Jianmin Wang Longjun Zuo Wei Gu Jianzhang 2018IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2018,,1:0
