3Experimental study of photooxidation products of ethylbenzene显示文摘Smog chamber experiments were performed to investigate the composition of products formed from photooxidation of aromatic hydrocarbon ethylbenzene.Vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometer and aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometer were used to measure the products in the gas and particle phases in real-time.Experimental results demonstrated that ethylphenol,methylglyoxal,phenol,benzaldehyde,and 2-ethylfurane were the predominant photooxidation products in both the gas and particle phases.However,there were some dierences between detected gas phase products and those of particle phase,for example,2-ethylfurane,ethylglyoxylic acid,nitroethylbenzene,3,4-dioxopentanal and ethyl-nitrophenol were only existing in the particle-phase. 4Mass production of two-dimensional materials beyond graphene and their applications显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials are promising candidates in wide applications including energy storage and conversion,sensors,flexible devices,etc.The low-cost production of 2D materials with large quantities and demanded quality is the precondition for their commercial uses.For graphene and its derivatives,relatively mature techniques have been established for their scalable preparation and industrial applications.Whereas the mass production of 2D materials beyond graphene is still in its early age and it lacks a summary on this topic.This review systematically describes the state-of-the-art approaches for high-yield preparation of 2D materials beyond graphene,including“top-down”exfoliation and“bottom-up”synthetic approaches.In particular,each method is discussed from the perspectives of its principle,optimization attempts,characteristics of the obtained 2D materials,and its scalability potential.The applications that require massively-produced 2D materials are highlighted,including electrocatalysis,batteries,supercapacitors,mechanical and chemical sensors,as well as electromagnetic interference shielding and microwave absorption devices.Finally,we propose the challenges and opportunities for scalable preparation and commercial applications of 2D materials.Liusi Yang Wenjun Chen Qiangmin Yu Bilu Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:4

7Matrix-assisted pulsed laser evaporation of polyimide thin films and the XPS study显示文摘Compared with the traditional thin film techniques, the matrix-assisted pulsed laser evaporation (MAPLE) technique has many advantages in the deposition of polymer and organic thin films. It has a wide range of applications in many fields, such as non-linear optics, luminescent devices, electronics, various sensors. We have successfully deposited polyimide thin films by using the MAPLE technique. These films were characterized with XPS. The XPS spectra showed that the single-photon effect is ob-vious at low laser fluence and the chemical bonds will be broken, resulting in decomposition of the films. Contrarily, the single-photon effect will decrease and the multi-photon effect and the photothermal effect will increase at high laser fluence, resulting in the protection of the structure of the polyimide thin films and the obvious decrease in decomposition. 10A VUV photoionization mass spectrometric study on the OH-initiated photooxidation of isoprene with synchrotron radiation显示文摘The gas-phase organic compounds resulting from OH-initiated photooxidation of isoprene have been investigated on-line by VUV photoionization mass spectrometry based on synchrotron radiation for the first time.The photoionization efficiency curves of the corresponding gaseous products as well as the chosen standards have been deduced by gating the interested peaks in the photoionization mass spectra while scanning the photon energy simultaneously,which permits the identification of the pivotal gaseous products of the photooxidation of isoprene,such as formaldehyde(10.84eV),formic acid(11.38eV),acetone(9.68eV),glyoxal(9.84eV),acetic acid(10.75eV),methacrolein(9.91eV),and methyl vinyl ketone(9.66eV).Proposed reaction mechanisms leading to the formation of these key products were discussed,which were completely consistent with the previous works of different groups.The capability of synchrotron radiation photoionization mass spectrometry to directly identify the chemical composition of the gaseous products in a simulation chamber has been demonstrated,and its potential application in related studies of atmospheric oxidation of ambient volatile organic compounds is anticipated.Gang Pan Changjin Hu Mingqiang Huang Zhenya Wang Yue Cheng Zhi Liu Weixiong Zhao Weijun Zhang Jun Chen Fuyi Liu Xiaobin Shan Liusi Sheng 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,12:1

18Precipitation Microphysical Characteristics of Typhoon Ewiniar(2018) before and after Its Final Landfall over Southern China显示文摘In this paper, the evolution of the microphysical characteristics in different regions(eyewall, inner core, and outer rainbands) and different quadrants [downshear left(DL), downshear right(DR), upshear left(UL), and upshear right(UR)]during the final landfall of Typhoon Ewiniar(2018) is analyzed using two-dimensional video disdrometer and S-band polarimetric radar data collected in Guangdong, China. Due to the different types of underlying surfaces, the periods before landfall(mainly dominated by underlying sea surface) and after landfall(mainly dominated by underlying land surface) are also analyzed. Both before landfall and after landfall, the downshear quadrants had the dominate typhoon precipitation. The outer rainbands had more graupel than the inner core, resulting in a larger radar reflectivity, differential reflectivity, specific differential phase shift, and mass-weighted mean diameter below the melting layer. Compared with other regions, the eyewall region had the smallest mean logarithmic normalized intercept parameter before landfall and the smallest mean mass-weighted mean diameter and the largest mean logarithmic normalized intercept parameter after landfall. The hydrometeor size sorting was obvious in the eyewall and inner core(especially in the eyewall) after landfall. A high concentration of large raindrops fell in the DL quadrant, and more small raindrops fell in the UR quadrant. Although the icephase process and warm rain process were both important in the formation of tropical cyclone precipitation, the warm rain process(ice-phase process) contributed more liquid water before landfall(after landfall).
