1Detection of Foreign Particles in Medical Solution Using Modified Affinity Propagation显示文摘A new detection method based on modified affinity propagation is proposed for detecting foreign particles in medical solution. The captured sequential images are used to generate moving tra jectories of possible foreign particles. The external disturbances and background are almost removed by using a series of simple and effective image processing. The extracted potential targets,including foreign particles and possible residual noises, are partitioned into a number of valid clusters by modified affinity propagation clustering, in which the new similarity measure can better reflect the intrinsic link of linearstructured datasets and the temporal constraint enforces the temporal continuity of data points. The foreign particles can be easily recognized by analyzing the cluster structure according to the continuity and smoothness of moving targets tra jectory. This algorithm combines modified affinity propagation method with the moving characteristics of different particles, and can achieve accurate partitions efficiently even though the clusters are badly adjacent. 2Cyclic and Linear Thiopeptides from Soil-Derived Streptomyces sp.CPCC 203702 with Antiviral and Antibacterial Activities显示文摘A new cyclic thiopeptide,berninamycin F(3),three new linear thiopeptides,berninamycins G—I(4-6),and two known berninamycin derivatives,berninamycins C and D(1 and 2)were isolated from Streptomyces sp.CPCC 203702.Their structures were elucidated through HRESIMS and one-and two-dimensional NMR data,and the absolute configurations were assigned using Marfey's method.Compounds 4-6 are the first examples of linear berninamycin analogs.Notably,compound 4 is the first example of linear thiopeptide with a 1-(oxazol-2-yl)ethan-1-one group,compound 6 is the first linear thiopeptide derivative with methylated oxoacetate moiety.Compounds 1-6 exhibited excellent anti-Zika virus activities with IC_(50) values in the range of 4.4-10.5μmol/L,which were superior to that of the positive control ribavirin(IC_(50)=49.2μmol/L).Compounds 1 and 3 showed strong anti-influenza A virus activities with the IC_(50) values of 15.6 and 3.2μmol/L,respectively.Compound 1 exhibited good antibacterial activities against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus spp.pathogens.Dewu Zhang Yujia Wang Xinxin Hu Xiaoyu Wang Linzi Li Guowei Gu Bingyuan Zhang Shan Cen Xuefu You Liyan Yu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:1
3A multi-terminal ion-controlled transistor with multifunctionality and wide temporal dynamics for reservoir computing显示文摘Reservoir computing(RC)is an energy-efficient computational framework with low training cost and high efficiency in processing spatiotemporal information.The state-of-the-art fully memristor-based hardware RC system suffers from bottlenecks in the computation efficiencies and accuracy due to the limited temporal tunability in the volatile memristor for the reservoir layer and the nonlinearity in the nonvolatile memristor for the readout layer.Additionally,integrating different types of memristors brings fabrication and integration complexities.To overcome the challenges,a multifunctional multi-terminal electrolyte-gated transistor(MTEGT)that combines both electrostatic and electrochemical doping mechanisms is proposed in this work,integrating both widely tunable volatile dynamics with high temporal tunable range of 10^(2) and nonvolatile memory properties with high long-term potentiation/long-term depression(LTP/LTD)linearity into a single device.An ion-controlled physical RC system fully implemented with only one type of MTEGT is constructed for image recognition using the volatile dynamics for the reservoir and nonvolatility for the readout layer.Moreover,an ultralow normalized mean square error of 0.002 is achieved in a time series prediction task.It is believed that the MTEGT would underlie next-generation neuromorphic computing systems with low hardware costs and high computational performance.Kekang Liu Jie Li Fangzhou Li Yiyuan Lin Hongrui Liu Linzi Liang Zhiyuan Luo Wei Liu Mengye Wang Feichi Zhou Yanghui Liu 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0
4HPDA/Zn as a CREB Inhibitor for Ultrasound imaging and Stabilization of Atherosclerosis Plaque+显示文摘Thrombosis,secondary to rupture of unstable plaque,is a fatal risk factor for myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke.At present,more novel methods are needed for the diagnosis and treatment of vulnerable plaque.Here,we report a hollow polydopamine/Zn(HPDA/Zn)ultrasound contrast agent.Through western-blot,Elisa,and other experiments,we found that in addition to having a good contrast-enhancement capability in ultrasound imaging in vitro and in vivo,HPDA/Zn also has the effect of reducing the expres-sion of CREB.CREB protein and its downstream-regulated proteins and factors are closely related to the stability of plaque.HPDA/Zn has the effect of reducing the expression of CREB protein,which leads to the decrease of expression of MMP-9,the regulatory pro-tein downstream of the CREB protein.In addition,it also reduces the secretion of inflammatory factors hs-CRP and IL-17A.Thus,HPDA/Zn can stabilize plaque by inhibiting CREB and reducing plaque vulnerable markers and inflammatory factors.In a word,HPDA/Zn is a kind of ultrasound contrast agent,which can stabilize plaques by inhibiting CREB protein.Linzi Chen Zhenqi Jiang Lifei Yang Ye Fang Shuwei Lu Ozioma U.Akakuru Shuaishuai Huang Juan Li Suya Ma Aiguo Wu 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,2:0

6Protective mechanism of quercetin compounds against acrylamide-induced hepatotoxicity显示文摘Quercetin compounds have antioxidant,anti-inflammatory and anticancer pharmacological functions.Longterm exposure to acrylamide(AA)can cause liver injury and endanger human health.However,whether quercetin compounds can attenuate AA-induced liver injury and the specific mechanism are not clear.Here,we studied the mechanism and structure-activity relationship of quercetin compounds in reducing AA-induced hepatotoxicity in vivo and in vitro.In vivo studies found that quercetin-like compounds protect against AAinduced liver injury by reducing oxidative stress levels,activating the Akt/m TOR signaling pathway to attenuate autophagy,and improving mitochondrial apoptosis and endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated apoptosis.In vitro studies found that quercetin compounds protected Hep G2 cells from AA by attenuating the activation of AA-induced autophagy,lowering reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels by exerting antioxidant effects and thus attenuating oxidative stress,increasing mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP),and improving apoptosis-related proteins,thus attenuating AA-induced apoptosis.Furthermore,the conformational differences between quercetin compounds correlated with their protective capacity against AA-induced hepatotoxicity,with quercetin showing the best protective capacity due to its strongest antioxidant activity.In conclusion,quercetin compounds can protect against AA-induced liver injury through multiple pathways of oxidative stress,autophagy and apoptosis,and their protective capacity correlates with antioxidant activity.Linzi Li Xueying Lei Lin Chen Ya Ma Jun Luo Xuebo Liu Xinglian Xu Guanghong Zhou Xianchao Feng 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1:0
