1Ammonia volatilization from a Chinese cabbage field under different nitrogen treatments in the Taihu Lake Basin, China显示文摘Ammonia(NH_3) volatilization is a major pathway of nitrogen(N) loss from soil-crop systems.As vegetable cultivation is one of the most important agricultural land uses worldwide,a deeper understanding of NH_3 volatilization is necessary in vegetable production systems.We therefore conducted a 3-year(2010–2012) field experiment to characterize NH_3 volatilization and evaluate the effect of different N fertilizer treatments on this process during the growth period of Chinese cabbage.Ammonia volatilization rate,rainfall,soil water content,p H,and soil NH_4^+were measured during the growth period.The results showed that NH_3 volatilization was significantly and positively correlated to topsoil p H and NH4+concentration.Climate factors and fertilization method also significantly affected NH_3 volatilization.Specifically,organic fertilizer(OF) increased NH_3 volatilization by 11.77%–18.46%,compared to conventional fertilizer(CF,urea),while organic–inorganic compound fertilizer(OIF) reduced NH_3 volatilization by 8.82%–12.67% compared to CF.Furthermore,slow-release fertilizers had significantly positive effects on controlling NH_3 volatilization,with a 60.73%–68.80% reduction for sulfur-coated urea(SCU),a 71.85%–78.97% reduction for biological Carbon Power~® urea(BCU),and a 77.66%–83.12% reduction for bulk-blend controlled-release fertilizer(BBCRF)relative to CF.This study provides much needed baseline information,which will help in fertilizer choice and management practices to reduce NH_3 volatilization and encourage the development of new strategies for vegetable planting.Linan Shan Yunfeng He Jie Chen Qian Huang Hongcai Wang 2015Journal of Environmental Sciences2015,27,12:28

4Dynamic games for secure and resilient control system design显示文摘Modern control systems are featured by their hierarchical structure composed of cyber,physical and human layers.The intricate dependencies among multiple layers and units of modern control systems require an integrated framework to address cross-layer design issues related to security and resilience challenges.To this end,game theory provides a bottom-up modeling paradigm to capture the strategic interactions among multiple components of the complex system and enables a holistic view to understand and design cyber-physical-human control systems.In this review,we first provide a multi-layer perspective toward increasingly complex and integrated control systems and then introduce several variants of dynamic games for modeling different layers of control systems.We present game-theoretic methods for understanding the fundamental tradeoffs of robustness,security and resilience and developing a cross-layer approach to enhance the system performance in various adversarial environments.This review also includes three quintessential research problems that represent three research directions where dynamic game approaches can bridge between multiple research areas and make significant contributions to the design of modern control systems.The paper is concluded with a discussion on emerging areas of research that crosscut dynamic games and control systems.Yunhan Huang Juntao Chen Linan Huang Quanyan Zhu 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:2

6A Method to Estimate the Steganographic Capacity in DCT Domain Based on MCUU Model显示文摘In order to estimate maximum steganographic capacity of discrete cosine transform(DCT) domain in JPEG image, this paper presents a method based on the maximize capacity under undetectable model(MCUU). We analyze the relation between steganographic capacity and affecting factors(image size, steganography operator, loading band, embedding intensity and image complexity). Then we design a steganography analyzer architecture and a steganographic algorithm which can dynamically increase the steganographic capacity. Compared with other methods of embedding capacity estimation in DCT domain, the proposed methods utilizes general steganalysis methods rather than one specific steganalysis technique and takes five essential factors into account, which improves the commonality and comprehensiveness of capacity estimation, respectively. 7Structural Design and Dynamic Characteristics of Overloaded Horizontal Servo Cylinder for Resisting Dynamic Partial Load显示文摘When an output curve force is applied to a horizontal servo cylinder with a heavy load, the piston rod bears a dynamic partial load based on the installation and load characteristics, which significantly a ects the frequency response and control accuracy of the servo cylinder. Based on this partial load, increased friction can lead to cylinder bore scu ng, leakage, lack of output power, or even system failure. In this paper, a novel asymmetric static-pressure support structure is proposed based on the principle of hydrostatic support. The radial component force of a dynamic partial load is balanced by cooperation between the support oil cushion of the variable hydraulic pressure support structure, oil cushion of the supportive force, and the damper. Adaptive control of the servo cylinder piston rod, guide sleeve, and piston, as well as the cylinder oil film friction between lubricated surfaces is achieved. In this paper, theoretical design and analysis of the traditional hydrostatic bearing structure and novel structure are presented. A hydraulic dynamic shear scissor is used as a research target to derive a structural dynamic model. Comparative simulations are performed using Matlab Simulink. 9Suppressing byproduct formation for high selective CO_(2) reduction over optimized Ni/TiO_(2) based catalysts显示文摘One of the challenges for catalytic CO_(2)reduction is to control product selectivity,and new findings that can modify selectivity would be transformative.Herein,two kinds of TiO_(2)(homemade and commercial)with the same crystal phase but different surface properties are chosen as supports to prepare Ni-based catalysts for CO_(2)reduction,which show distinctly different product selectivity for CO_(2)reduction to CH_(4) or CO,as well as the CO_(2)conversion.The catalysts based on the homemade TiO_(2)support are highly selective for CH_(4) formation,while the latter ones are about 100%selective for CO formation under the same reaction conditions.In addition,the former ones are much active(more than 3 times)than the latter ones.We found that the collaborative contribution of Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and the electronic metal-support interactions effect maybe the main driving force behind for determining the product selectivity.Methane is almost exclusively produced over the catalysts with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and greater electronic metal-support interaction,otherwise,it will give priority to CO generation.The addition of CeO_(2)can reduce the Ni particle size and improve the dispersion of Ni nanoparticles,as well as create more Ti^(3+)species,contributing to the enhancement of CO_(2)conversion,but shows a negligible effect on product selectivity.Furthermore,the in situ DRIFT experiments and kinetic experiments indicate that the CO route is probably involved in the CO_(2)reduction process over the homemade Ni-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)-CO catalyst with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and a strong electronic transform effect.Danyang Li Ruidong Xu Roong Jien Wong Xing Zhu Dong Tian Lei Jiang Qingjie Guo Hongcun Bai Linan Huang Wen Liu Hua Wang Kongzhai Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:0
