| 1 | Laser-induced Janus graphene/poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole)fabrics with intrinsic flame retardancy as flexible sensors and breathable electrodes for fire-fighting field显示文摘Conventional firefighting clothing and fire masks can protect firemen’s safety to a certain extent,whereas cannot perceive environmental hazards and monitor their physical status in real time.Herein,we fabricated two kinds of Janus graphene/poly(pphenylene benzobisoxazole)(PBO)fabrics by laser direct writing approach and evaluated their performance as intelligent firefighting clothes and fire masks.The results showed that the Janus graphene/PBO fabrics were virtually non-combustible and achieved the highest thermal protection time of 18.91 s ever reported in flame,which is due to the intrinsic flame-retardant nature of PBO fibers.The graphene/PBO woven fabrics-based sensor showed good repeatability and stability in human motion monitoring and NO_(2)gas detection.Furthermore,the piezoelectric fire mask was assembled with graphene/PBO nonwoven fabric as electrode layer and polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)electrostatic direct writing film as piezoelectric layer.The filtration efficiency of the fire mask reaches 95%for PM_(2.5)and 100%for PM_(3.0),indicating its effective filtration capability for smoke particles in fires.The respiratory resistance of the piezoelectric fire mask(46.8 Pa)was lower than that of commercial masks(49 Pa),showing that it has good wearing comfort.Besides,the piezoelectric fire mask can be sensitive to the speed and intensity of human breathing,which is essential for indirectly reflecting the health of the human body.Consequently,this work provides a facile approach to fabricate next-generation intrinsic flame-retardant smart textiles for smart firefighting. | Yu Luo Yaping Miao Huimin Wang Kai Dong Lin Hou Yanyan Xu Weichun Chen Yao Zhang Yingying Zhang Wei Fan | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 2 |

| 4 | Spatiotemporal characteristics of seed rain and soil seed bank of artificial Caragana korshinskii Kom. forest in the Tengger Desert, China显示文摘Vegetation restoration and reconstruction are effective approaches to desertification control and achieving social and economic sustainability in desert areas.However,the self-succession ability of native plants during the later periods of vegetation restoration remains unclear.Therefore,this study was conducted to bridge the knowledge gap by investigating the regeneration dynamics of artificial forest under natural conditions.The information of seed rain and soil seed bank was collected and quantified from an artificial Caragana korshinskii Kom.forest in the Tengger Desert,China.The germination tests were conducted in a laboratory setting.The analysis of species quantity and diversity in seed rain and soil seed bank was conducted to assess the impact of different durations of sand fixation(60,40,and 20 a)on the progress of vegetation restoration and ecological conditions in artificial C.korshinskii forest.The results showed that the top three dominant plant species in seed rain were Echinops gmelinii Turcz.,Eragrostis minor Host.,and Agropyron mongolicum Keng.,and the top three dominant plant species in soil seed bank were E.minor,Chloris virgata Sw.,and E.gmelinii.As restoration period increased,the density of seed rain and soil seed bank increased first and then decreased.While for species richness,as restoration period increased,it gradually increased in seed rain but decreased in soil seed bank.There was a positive correlation between seed rain density and soil seed bank density among all the three restoration periods.The species similarity between seed rain or soil seed bank and aboveground vegetation decreased with the extension of restoration period.The shape of the seeds,specifically those with external appendages such as spines and crown hair,clearly had an effect on their dispersal,then resulting in lower seed density in soil seed bank.In addition,precipitation was a crucial factor in promoting rapid germination,also resulting in lower seed density in soil seed bank.Our findings provide valuable insights for guiding future interventions during the later periods of artificial C.korshinskii forest,such as sowing and restoration efforts using unmanned aerial vehicles. | SHEN Jianxiang WANG Xin WANG Lei WANG Jiahui QU Wenjie ZHANG Xue CHANG Xuanxuan YANG Xinguo CHEN Lin QIN Weichun ZHANG Bo NIU Jinshuai | 2024 | Journal of Arid Land2024,16,4: | 0 |

| 6 | Fabricating a novel supramolecular light-activated platform based on internal-driven forces induced by the UV-light显示文摘Recently,exploiting a novel supramolecular fabrication pathway have drawn great attention.To this endeavor,we firstly designed and reported an original light-activated platform based on the internal-driven forces of macrocyclic host by hiring the pillar[5]arene as the host molecule(H)and phenazine derivatives acting as an energetic guest molecule(G).Surprisingly,after adding the H solution into G system,the intensive fluorescence emission of the G molecule rapidly decreased under the irradiation of the UV-light(254 nm)until absolutely quenching.Delightfully,different from the traditional supramolecular host-guest interaction,the fluorescent emission of G molecule could be recovered after irradiating under the nature light.In view of this interesting observations,the interaction mechanism was carefully investigated by a series of characterizations.Those results suggested that the G molecule was easily threaded into the macrocyclic cavity(H)under the internal-driven forces induced by the UV-light irradiation,forming a 1:1 host-guest complex.Moreover,taking advantage of this especial feature,the light-activated platform of host-guest complex was further applied for ink-free light-driven printing materials,exhibiting great potential in the real application. | Xiaoni Qi Weichun Li Bingbing Shi Youming Zhang Hong Yao Qi Lin Taibao Wei | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,12: | 0 |
| 7 | Ferrihydrite transformation impacted by coprecipitation of lignin:Inhibition or facilitation?显示文摘Lignin is a common soil organic matter that is present in soils,but its effect on the transformation of ferrihydrite(Fh)remains unclear.Organic matter is generally assumed to inhibit Fh transformation.However,lignin can reduce Fh to Fe(Ⅱ),in which Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed Fh transformation occurs.Herein,the effects of lignin on Fh transformation were investigated at 75℃ as a function of the lignin/Fh mass ratio(0-0.2),pH(4-8)and aging time(0-96 hr).The results of Fh-lignin samples(mass ratios=0.1)aged at different pH values showed that for Fh-lignin the time of Fh transformation into secondary crystalline minerals was significantly shortened at pH 6 when compared with pure Fh,and the Fe(Ⅱ)-accelerated transformation of Fh was strongly dependent on pH.Under pH 6,at low lignin/Fh mass ratios(0.05-0.1),the time of secondary mineral formation decreased with increasing lignin content.For high lignosulfonate-content material(lignin:Fh=0.2),Fh did not transform into secondary minerals,indicating that lignin content plays a major role in Fh transformation.In addition,lignin affected the pathway of Fh transformation by inhibiting goethite formation and facilitating hematite formation.The effect of coprecipitation of lignin on Fh transformation should be useful in understanding the complex iron and carbon cycles in a soil environment. | Lin Liu Zhihui Yang Weichun Yang Wen Jiang Qi Liao Mengying Si Feiping Zhao | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,5: | 0 |
