| 1 | Template synthesis of N——F-codoped TiO_2 nanotubes with high visible light activity显示文摘A series of highly ordered N-F-codoped TiO2 nanotubes were synthesized with a simple template technique and the obtained samples were detected by FE-SEM and XPS. The UV-Vis absorption spectrum showed that after N-F-codoping,TiO2 nanotubes had a new absorption band at 425 nm,leading to a photoresponse in the visible region. | 2 | Study on fire extinguishing performance of ultrafine water mist in a cup burner显示文摘Two simplified models for predicting minimum extinguishing concentration(MEC) of ultrafine water mist(UFM)(<10 m) were developed based on limiting oxygen concentration(LOC) and combustion limit temperature(CLT),respectively.Experiment was conducted using a modified cup burner which can reduce the surface adsorption of UFM.Two typical liquid fuels,n-heptane and ethanol,were used in the experiment.Tests using the same scenario were repeated 20 times or 10 times according to the variance of extinguishing time.The average and the standard deviations of extinguishing time were used to evaluate the fire extinguishing performance of UFM.Experimental results agree well with the model based on LOC,and disagree with the model based on CLT.The disagreements were explained by analyzing flow behavior of UFM.It was concluded that the primary mechanism of fire extinguishment with UFM was oxygen dilution. | LIANG TianShui LIAO GuangXuan LU SiuMing WANG XiShi | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7: | 2 |
| 3 | Research on the effect of the component proportion in the new water mist additive on firefighting performance显示文摘Water mist technology provides efficient firefighting performance while there is still room for improvement. So varieties of additives have been studied in recent years both at home and abroad. The self-made additives are used to compare the firefighting performance of diesel and heptane fire in open space. By adjusting the concentration of substance in the additives and conducting the experiment under the pressure of 0.3 MPa,0.5 MPa and 0.7 MPa,extinguish time and temperature are measured in the experiment. Through the experiments using different fuels,it can be found when the fuel is heptane that has a lower ignition point and a higher evaporation rate, the water mist additive can still significantly improve the firefighting performance. According to the data based on different concentrations of fluorinated surfactants,we find that fluorinated surfactants are the main substance to improve the performances by changing physical property of water mist. | 5 | Primary Screening for Proteins Differentially Expressed in the Myocardium of a Rat Model of Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication显示文摘The mechanism of myocardial injury induced by the cardiovascular toxicity of methamphetamine(MA)has been shown to depend onalterations in myocardial proteins caused by MA.Primary screening of the expression of myocardial proteins in a rat model of MA intoxicationwas achieved by combining two‑dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry analyses,which revealed a total of 100 differentiallyexpressed proteins.Of these,13 displayed significantly altered expression.Moreover,Western blotting and real‑time reverse transcriptionquantitative polymerase chain reaction analyses of several relative proteins demonstrated that acute MA intoxication lowers protein expressionand mRNA transcription of aldehyde dehydrogenase‑2 and NADH dehydrogenase(ubiquinone)1 alpha subcomplex subunit 10.In contrast,MA intoxication elevated the protein expression and mRNA transcription of heat shock protein family B(small)member 1.By combiningbehavioral assessments of experimental rat models with the histological and pathological changes evident in cardiomyocytes,a mechanismaccounting for MA myocardial toxicity was suggested.MA alters the regulation of gene transcription and the subsequent expression of certainproteins that participate in myocardial respiration and in responding to oxidative stress,resulting in myocardial dysfunction and structuralchanges that affect the functioning of the cardiovascular system. | Guoqiang Qu Sizhe Huang Liang Liu Tianshui Yu Rufeng Bai Hongxia Liu Fangming Song Yongqi Wen Haidong Zhang | 2016 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2016,2,3: | 0 |
