| 1 | New chronological evidence for Yanshanian diagenetic mineralization in China's Altay orogenic belt显示文摘Granitoids and related pegmatitic rare-metal deposits are widespread in China’s Altay region,they used to be considered as Hercynian rocks and mineral deposits.Reported here are the^40Ar^39Ar ages of potassium-rich minerals (muscovite and microcline)in the Koktokay pegmatitic rare-metal orefield and whole-rock as well as quartz fluid-inclusion Rb-Sr isochron ages of granite and ores in the Shangkelan pegmatite rare-metal orefield. | 2 | EMBRYONIC FACTOR 19 Encodes a Pentatricopeptide Repeat Protein that is Essential for the Initiation of Zygotic Embryogenesis in Arabidopsis显示文摘Early embryogenesis is the most fundamental developmental process in biology.Screening of ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)-mutagenized populations of Arabidopsis thaliana led to the identification of a zygote-lethal mutant embryonic factor 19(fac19)in which embryo development was arrested at the elongated zygote to octant stage.The number of endosperm nuclei decreased significantly in fac19 embryos.Genetic analysis showed fac19 was caused by a single recessive mutation with typical mendelian segregation,suggesting equal maternal and paternal contributions of FAC19 towards zygotic embryogenesis.Positional cloning showed that FAC19 encodes a putative mitochondrial protein with 16 conserved pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)motifs.The fac19 mutation caused a conversion from hydrophilic serine located in a previously unknown domain to hydrophobic leucine.Crosses between FAC19/fac19 and the T-DNA insertion mutants in the same gene failed to complement the fac19 defects,confirming the identity of the gene.This study revealed the critical importance of a PPR protein-mediated mitochondrial function in early embryogenesis. | Dali Yu Li Jiang Huaqin Gong Chun-Ming Liu | 2012 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2012,54,1: | 8 |
| 3 | Effect of Ti substitution on hydrogen storage properties of Zr_(1-x)Ti_xCo (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) alloys显示文摘Zr1-xTixCo(x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) alloys were prepared by arc-melting method and the effect of Ti substitution on hydrogen storage properties was studied systematically. Hydrogen desorption pressure-composition-temperature(PCT) measurements were carried out using Sievert's type volumetric apparatus for ZrCo(at 473 K, 573 K and 673 K) and Zr1-xTixCo alloys(at 673 K), respectively. Products after dehydrogenation were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD). In addition, the kinetics of Zr1-xTixCo hydride was investigated at 473 K and 673 K,respectively, under hydrogen pressure of 5 MPa. Results showed that Ti substitution for Zr did not change the crystal structure of ZrCo phase.With the increase of temperature from 473 K to 673 K, the extent of disproportionation for ZrCo alloy increased. With Ti content increasing at 673 K, the desorption equilibrium pressure of Zr1-xTixCo-H2 systems elevated and the disproportionation reaction of Zr1-xTixCo alloys was inhibited effectively. | 5 | Significance of VEGF and NF-κB Expression in Thyroid Carcinoma显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the significance of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) expression in thyroid carcinoma. METHODS The expression of NF-κB and VEGF was determined by im- munohistochemistry in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded specimens obtained from 10 normal thyroid tissues (NT), 12 cases of thyroid adeno- ma (TA) and 68 cases of thyroid carcinoma (TC).Differences in expres- sion between NT, TA and TC were statistically analyzed. In addition, in cases of TC, the relationship of NF-κB and VEGF expression with various clinicopathological factors, including histological typing, clinical staging and lymph node metastasis, as well as the correlation between N F - κ B and VEGF expression was examined. RESULTS In contrast to the negative immunoreactivity for VEGF in NT, there was a significantly higher positive incidence (PI) in TA (41.7%, P= 0.040) and TC (75.0%, P<0.001), and a significant difference between TA and TC (P=0.036). Immunoreactivity for NF-κB in NT was negative and significantly higher in TC (63.2%, P<0.001),but not in TA (16.7%, P= 0.481). However the PI difference between TA and TC (P=0.003) was significant. Between the histological types of TC, a significantly higher PI was found in undifferentiated thyroid carcinoma (UTC),namely,100% for VEGF and 90.0% for NF-κB. We also found significant positive relation- ships of VEGF and N F - κ B expression with the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis. Furthermore, a significant positive correlation between VEGF and NF-κB expression in TC was observed. CONCLUSION Our data showed that the expression of VEGF and NF- ΚB/P65 was greater in TC and UTC, and documented their significant positive correlations with the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis in TC. | 11 | Regulating local chemistry in ZrCo-based orthorhombic hydrides via increasing atomic interference for ultra-stable hydrogen isotopes storage显示文摘Developing a universal and reliable strategy for the modulation of composition and structure of energy storage materials with stable cycling performance is vital for hydrogen and its isotopes storage advanced system,yet still challenging.Herein,an ultra-stable lattice structure is designed and verified to increase atomic chaos and interference for effectively inhibiting disproportionation reaction and improving cycling stability in ZrCo-based hydrogen isotopes storage alloy.After screening in terms of configuration entropy calculation,we construct Zr_(1-2)Nb_(x)Co_(1-2x)Cu_(x)Ni_(x)(x=0.15,0.2,0.25) alloys with increased atomic chaos,and successfully achieve stable isostructural de-/hydrogenation during 100 cycles,whose cycling capacity retentions are above 99%,much higher than 22.4%of pristine ZrCo alloy.Both theoretical analysis and experimental evidences indicate the high thermo-stability of orthorhombic lattice in Zr_(0.8)Nb_(0.2)Co_(0.6)Cu_(0.2)Ni_(0.2) alloy.Notably,the increased atomic chaos and interference in Zr_(0.8)Nb_(0.2)Co_(0.6)Cu_(0.2)Ni_(0.2) alloy causes regulation in hydrogen local chemical neighborhood,thereby confusing the hydrogen release order,which effectively eliminates lattice distortion and unlocks an ultrastable lattice structure.This study provides a new and comprehensive inspiration for hydrogen atoms transport behaviors and intrinsic reason of stable orthorhombic transformation,which can contribute to paving the way for other energy storage materials modulation. | Zhaoqing Liang Zhendong Yao Ruhong Li Xuezhang Xiao Zhichao Ye Xuancheng Wang Jiacheng Qi Jiapeng Bi Xiulin Fan Huaqin Kou Wenhua Luo Changan Chen Lixin Chen | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6: | 0 |
