1Tectonic evolution of the Western Kunlun orogenic belt in northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau:Evidence from zircon SHRIMP and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology显示文摘The Western Kunlun Range in northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is composed of the North Kunlun Terrane,the South Kunlun Terrane and the Karakorum-Tianshuihai Terrane. Here we report zircon SHRIMP and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages of some metamorphic and igneous rocks and field observations in order to pro-vide a better understanding of their Precambrian and Palaeozoic-early Mesozoic tectonic evolution. Based on these data we draw the following conclusions: (1) The paragneisses in the North Kunlun Terrane are likely of late Mesoproterozoic age rather than Palaeoproterozoic age as previously thought,representing tectonothermal episodes at 1.0―0.9 Ga and ~0.8 Ga. (2) The North Kunlun Terrane was an orogenic belt accreted to the southern margin of Tarim during late Mesoproterozoic to early Neopro-terozoic,the two episodes of metamorphisms correspond to the assemblage and breakup of Rodinia respectively. (3) The Bulunkuole Group in western South Kunlun Terrane,which was considered to be the Palaeoproterozoic basement of the South Kunlun Terrane by previous studies,is now subdivided into the late Neoproterzoic to early Palaeozoic paragneisses (khondalite) and the early Mesozoic metamorphic volcano-sedimentary series; the paragneisses were thrust onto the metamorphic vol-cano-sedimentary series from south to north,with two main teconothermal episodes (i.e.,Caledonian,460―400 Ma,and Hercynian-Indosinian,340―200 Ma),and have been documented by zircon U-Pb ages. (4) In the eastern part of the South Kunlun Terrane,a gneissic granodiorite pluton,which intruded the khondalite,was crystallized at ca. 505 Ma and metamorphosed at ca. 240 Ma. 2Analysis of ESTs and gene expression patterns of the posterior silkgland in the fifth instar larvae of silkworm, Bombyx mori L.显示文摘The fibroin gene expression pattern and regulation of the posterior silkgland were studied by means of expressed sequence tags (ESTs) using the first and fifth day larvae of the fifth instar of silkworm, Bombyx mori L (strain: C 108). The results showed that there were 911 repetitive ESTs and 1950 single sequences (Singlets) among total 2861 consentient sequences, which were spliced. 1335 sequences were identified and the other 1526 were unknown. 5560 sequences (55.89%) in the posterior silkgland cell of the silkworm were new ESTs without homology with EST data published by Mita et al. The number of repetitive ESTs and single sequences from the first day larvae of the fifth instar was double more than that of the fifth day of the same instar in the silkworms. The unigenes which were more than 50 in repetitive EST size (contig size) came to only about 0.5% in total consentient sequences. There were significant differences between gene expression frequencies, and expressed genes were related to fibroin synthesis and its secretion and fibroin composition. Comparing the fifth day with the first day of the fifth instar, the genes-expressed quantity of fibroin heavy-chain gene was 18 fold higher, fibroin light-chain gene 9 fold and fibroin P52 gene 8 fold. 508 genes functioned for cellular component and 315 for enzyme after function tracing. These results implied that the gene expression of the first day was mainly for preparation for fibroin synthesis except for the growth of silkgland cells, and the gene expression of the fifth day of the fifth instar was mainly for synthesizing and excreting fibroin. Because the ratio of heavy chain, light chain and p25 of fibroin was not 6:6:1 as theoretically expected, or its special H-chain structure, the H-chain gene was not easy to detect through EST technique. Most of genes among total 2861 consentient sequences functioned for fibroin synthesis and secretion. 3A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 4A Method to Implement Full Anonymous Attestation for Trusted Computing Platform显示文摘Trusted computing (TC) technology is brought out by trusted computing group (TCG) to make computing as safe and reliable as people expect. Attestation is one main function speci- fied by TCG, which is the means by which a trusted computer assures a remote computer whose platform is not tampered with. There are two protocols that implement attestation without dis- closing the platform’s real identity, which are Privacy CA-based protocol and direct anonymous attestation (DAA) protocol. However, in the first protocol the privacy CA is the bottleneck and the platform’s identity will be disclosed if the privacy CA is com- promise, while DAA protocol can do profiling when dealing with rogue hardware device. 6Genome Assembly and Pathway Analysis of Edible Mushroom Agrocybe cylindracea显示文摘Agrocybe cylindracea,an edible mushroom,is widely cultivated for its abundance of nutrients and flavor,and many of its metabolites are reported to have beneficial roles,such as medicinal effects on tumors and chronical illnesses.However,the lack of genomic information has hindered further molecular studies on this fungus.Here,we present a genome assembly of A.cylindracea together with comparative genomics and pathway analyses of Agaricales species.The draft,generated from both next-generation sequencing(NGS)and single-molecule real-time(SMRT)sequencing platforms to overcome high genetic heterozygosity,is composed of a56.5 Mb sequence and 15,384 predicted genes.This mushroom possesses a complex reproductive system,including tetrapolar heterothallic and secondary homothallic mechanisms,and harbors several hydrolases and peptidases for gradual and effective degradation of various carbon sources.Our pathway analysis reveals complex processes involved in the biosynthesis of polysaccharides and other active substances,including B vitamins,unsaturated fatty acids,and N-acetylglucosamine.RNA-seq data show that A.cylindracea stipes tend to synthesize carbohydrate for carbon sequestration and energy storage,whereas pilei are more active in carbon utilization and unsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis.These results reflect diverse functions of the two anatomical structures of the fruiting body.Our comprehensive genomic and transcriptomic data,as well as preliminary comparative analyses,provide insights into the molecular details of the medicinal effects in terms of active compounds and nutrient components.Yuan Liang Dengxue Lu Sen Wang Yuhui Zhao Shenghan Gao Rongbing Han Jun Yu Weili Zheng Jianing Geng Songnian Hu 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,3:2
7On-chip cyclic-AWG-based 12 × 12 silicon wavelength routing switches with minimized port-to-port insertion loss fluctuation显示文摘With the rapidly increasing bandwidth requirements of optical communication networks, compact and low-cost large-scale optical switches become necessary. Silicon photonics is a promising technology due to its small footprint, cost competitiveness, and high bandwidth density. In this paper, we demonstrate a 12 × 12 silicon wavelength routing switch employing cascaded arrayed waveguide gratings(AWGs) connected by a silicon waveguide interconnection network on a single chip. We optimize the connecting strategy of the crossing structure to reduce the switch's footprint. We develop an algorithm based on minimum standard deviation to minimize the port-toport insertion loss(IL) fluctuation of the switch globally. The simulated port-to-port IL fluctuation decreases by about 3 dB compared with that of the conventional one. The average measured port-to-port IL is 13.03 dB, with a standard deviation of 0.78 dB and a fluctuation of 2.39 dB. 8The first discovery of eclogite and Palaeoproterozoic granitoids in the Beishan area,northwestern Gansu Province,China显示文摘The eclogite, discovered in Liuyuan, occurs as lenticular enclave within granitic gneiss. It has typical features of eclogite in petrology and mineralogy. The eclogite provides an important wirdow to reconstruct the tectonic border of the Tarim block.
