1Numerical investigation of turbulent flow coherent structures in annular jet pumps using the LES method显示文摘Annular jet pumps that are used in hydraulic machinery have a very simple structure but very complex internal flow fields. Large eddy simulations were used to study the coherent structures in the turbulent flows in annular jet pumps with various area ratios,m. The distribution, movement and evolution of the coherent structure in the annular jet pumps are described based on vorticity,pressure and Q criteria. All the criteria demonstrate that the vortexes are mainly distributed in the recirculation region and in the mixing and the boundary layers, which have large velocity gradients. The various characteristics of the coherent structures are shown by the different criteria with the vorticity criterion describing the distribution, movement and evolution of the vortexes,the pressure criterion describing the movement and the Q criterion describing the vortex movement and evolution. The vorticity variation in the spanwise direction is larger than the variation in the streamwise direction; however, the streamwise vortex is the main mechanism driving the entrainment of the secondary flow and the mixing. The annular jet pump with m=3.33 had a higher vortex shedding frequency(about 1000 Hz) than that with m=1.72(313–417 Hz). The azimuthal instability is the main reason for the generation of the streamwise vortex from the spanwise vortex. 2VLW equation of state of detonation products显示文摘Based on the virial theory, we proposed VLW equation of state of detonation products (VLW EOS). Its basic theory and applications were described. The distinct features of the VLW EOS were:First, the detonation performance of the new high energy density materials could be predicted more reliably. Second, it had extensive application. The detonation parameters of both the condensed high energy density materials and the gaseous fuel air explosives could be calculated. Moreover, combustion performance of propellants could also be precisely calculated. 4One-dimensional/three-dimensional analysis of transient cavitating flow in a venturi tube with special emphasis on cavitation excited pressure fluctuation prediction显示文摘The large eddy simulation(LES) method is used to simulate cavitating flow in a venturi tube. The simulated results agree fairly well with the experimental data. To quantitatively describe the relationship between cavitation evolution and excited pressure fluctuation in the venturi tube, a modified prediction model is proposed and its accuracy is verified by the LES results. Based on the original one-dimensional model for the external cavitating flow around a hydrofoil, this model is corrected according to the internal cavitating flow characteristics in the venturi tube. The results show that the original one-dimensional model ignores the choking effect of cavitating flow, which is obvious in a venturi tube with a narrow flow channel, thus leading to an inaccurate prediction of pressure fluctuation in the venturi tube. 5Controller design for networked control system with data packet dropout and transmission delays显示文摘In this paper, the stabilization problem for a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with data packet dropouts and transmission time delays is considered, where the delays are time-varying and uncertain, the data packet dropout is modeled as a two-state Markov chain. To compensate the lost packet, a data packet dropout compensator is established. Thus a more realistic model for such NCSs is presented. Sufficient conditions for the stabilization of the new resulting system are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). 11LES investigation of cavitating flows around a sphere with special emphasis on the cavitation–vortex interactions显示文摘Large eddy simulation(LES)was coupled with a homogeneous cavitation model to study turbulent cavitating flows around a sphere.The simulations are in good agreement with available experimental data and the simulated accuracy has been evaluated using the LES verification and validation method.Various cavitation numbers are simulated to study important flow characteristics in the sphere wake,e.g.periodic cavity growth/contraction,interactions between the cloud and sheet cavitations and the vortex structure evolution.The spectral characteristics of the wake for typical cloud cavitation conditions were classified as the periodic cavitation mode,high Strouhal number mode and low Strouhal number mode.Main frequency distributions in the wake were analyzed and different dominant flow structures were identified for each of the three modes.Further,the cavitation and vortex relationship was also studied,which is an important issue associated with complex cavitating sphere wakes.Three types of cavitating vortex structures alternate,which indicates that three different cavity shedding regimes may exist in the wake.Analysis of vorticity transport equation shows a significant vorticity increase at the cavitation closure region and in the vortex cavitation region.This study provides a physical perspective to further understand the flow mechanisms in cavitating sphere wakes.Yun Long Xinping Long Bin Ji 2020Acta Mechanica Sinica2020,36,6:1
12Convergence and stability of the Newton-Like algorithm with estimation error in optimization flow control显示文摘The Newton-Like algorithm with price estimation error in optimization flow control in network is analyzed.The estimation error is treated as inexactness of the gradient and the inexact descent direction is analyzed. Based on the optimization theory,a sufficient condition for convergence of this algorithm with bounded price estimation error is obtained.Furthermore,even when this sufficient condition doesn't hold,this algorithm can also converge,provided a modified step size,and an attraction region is obtained.Based on Lasalle's invariance principle applied to a suitable Lyapunov function,the dynamic system described by this algorithm is proved to be global stability if the error is zero.And the Newton-Like algorithm with bounded price estimation error is also globally stable if the error satisfies the sufficient condition for convergence.All trajectories ultimately converge to the equilibrium point.Yang Jun Li Shiyong Long Chengnian Guan Xinping 2007Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2007,18,3:1
