1Multi-functional stretchable and flexible sensor array to determine the location, shape, and pressure: Application in a smart robot显示文摘The rapid increase in the aging population prompts the development of wearable devices and sophisticated robots. With their ability to collect complex information about their surroundings via e-skins, robots could perform more dynamic and variable tasks such as rescue missions or caring for the elderly. In this paper, we present a new concept of utilizing a very simple, highly flexible and stretchable capacitor sensor array, that can be attached on the surface of a retractable robot hand to realize three functions: determining the location, shape, and pressure of an object. This adaptive sensing system is accomplished using capacitors connected by aligned carbon nanotube(CNT) films constructed on an elastomer dielectric material, which can reduce the requirement on the accuracy of the machine vision system. 2Research on the adaptive hybrid search tree anti-collision algorithm in RFID system显示文摘Due to more tag-collisions result in failed transmissions,tag anti-collision is a very vital issue in the radio frequency identification(RFID) system.However,so far decreases in communication time and increases in throughput are very limited.In order to solve these problems,this paper presents a novel tag anti-collision scheme,namely adaptive hybrid search tree(AHST),by combining two algorithms of the adaptive binary-tree disassembly(ABD) and the combination query tree(CQT),in which ABD has superior tag identification velocity and CQT has optimum performance in system throughput and search timeslots.From the theoretical analysis and numerical simulations,the proposed algorithm can colligate the advantages of above algorithms,improve the system throughput and reduce the searching timeslots dramatically.靳晓芳 Liu Mengxuan Shao Min Jin Libiao Huang Xianglin 2016High Technology Letters2016,22,1:3
3Brain-wide Mapping of Mono-synaptic Afferents to Different Cell Types in the Laterodorsal Tegmentum显示文摘The laterodorsal tegmentum(LDT) is a brain structure involved in distinct behaviors including arousal,reward, and innate fear. How environmental stimuli and top-down control from high-order sensory and limbic cortical areas converge and coordinate in this region to modulate diverse behavioral outputs remains unclear.Using a modified rabies virus, we applied monosynaptic retrograde tracing to the whole brain to examine the LDT cell type specific upstream nuclei. The LDT received very strong midbrain and hindbrain afferents and moderate cortical and hypothalamic innervation but weak connections to the thalamus. The main projection neurons from cortical areas were restricted to the limbic lobe, including the ventral orbital cortex(VO), prelimbic, and cingulate cortices. Although different cell populations received qualitatively similar inputs, primarily via afferents from the periaqueductal gray area, superior colliculus, and the LDT itself, parvalbumin-positive(PV?) GABAergic cells received preferential projections from local LDT neurons.With regard to the different subtypes of GABAergic cells, aconsiderable number of nuclei, including those of the ventral tegmental area, central amygdaloid nucleus, and VO, made significantly greater inputs to somatostatinpositive cells than to PV?cells. 4A structure-supporting,self-healing,and high permeating hydrogel bioink for establishment of diverse homogeneous tissue-like constructs显示文摘The ready-to-use,structure-supporting hydrogel bioink can shorten the time for ink preparation,ensure cell dispersion,and maintain the preset shape/microstructure without additional assistance during printing.Meanwhile,ink with high permeability might facilitate uniform cell growth in biological constructs,which is beneficial to homogeneous tissue repair.Unfortunately,current bioinks are hard to meet these requirements simultaneously in a simple way.Here,based on the fast dynamic crosslinking of aldehyde hyaluronic acid(AHA)/N-carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC)and the slow stable crosslinking of gelatin(GEL)/4-arm poly(ethylene glycol)succinimidyl glutarate(PEG-SG),we present a time-sharing structure-supporting(TSHSP)hydrogel bioink with high permeability,containing 1%AHA,0.75%CMC,1%GEL and 0.5%PEG-SG.The TSHSP hydrogel can facilitate printing with proper viscoelastic property and self-healing behavior.By crosslinking with 4%PEG-SG for only 3 min,the integrity of the cell-laden construct can last for 21 days due to the stable internal and external GEL/PEG-SG networks,and cells manifested long-term viability and spreading morphology.Nerve-like,muscle-like,and cartilage-like in vitro constructs exhibited homogeneous cell growth and remarkable biological specificities.This work provides not only a convenient and practical bioink for tissue engineering,targeted cell therapy,but also a new direction for hydrogel bioink development.Hongqing Chen Fei Fei Xinda Li Zhenguo Nie Dezhi Zhou Libiao Liu Jing Zhang Haitao Zhang Zhou Fei Tao Xu 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:2

6Detection of diverse viruses in alimentary specimens of bats in Macao显示文摘Bats carry a variety of viruses, and some of them cause public health problems. Macao, which is famous for its gambling industry, has a complex population structure. The globalization in such an international metropolis has enhanced the chance of disease transmission. Therefore, surveillance of zoonotic viruses is necessary for the early warning of potential emerging infectious diseases.Here, we report the first surveillance of bat viruses in Macao. In this study, we collected 1004 samples involving 10 bat species from 7 sites from April 2015 to May 2016, and examined the presence of viruses using nucleic acid-based methods. Coronaviruses, adenoviruses and paramyxoviruses were detected in these samples, with a high prevalence of coronaviruses. While,none was positive for hepatitis A virus, hepatitis E virus or hantavirus. 8A facile,versatile hydrogel bioink for 3D bioprinting benefits long-term subaqueous fidelity,cell viability and proliferation显示文摘Both of the long-term fidelity and cell viability of three-dimensional(3D)-bioprinted constructs are essential to precise soft tissue repair.However,the shrinking/swelling behavior of hydrogels brings about inadequate long-term fidelity of constructs,and bioinks containing excessive polymer are detrimental to cell viability.Here,we obtained a facile hydrogel by introducing 1%aldehyde hyaluronic acid(AHA)and 0.375%N-carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC),two polysaccharides with strong water absorption and water retention capacity,into classic gelatin(GEL,5%)–alginate(ALG,1%)ink.This GEL–ALG/CMC/AHA bioink possesses weak temperature dependence due to the Schiff base linkage of CMC/AHA and electrostatic interaction of CMC/ALG.We fabricated integrated constructs through traditional printing at room temperature and in vivo simulation printing at 37C.The printed cell-laden constructs can maintain subaqueous fidelity for 30 days after being reinforced by 3%calcium chloride for only 20 s.Flow cytometry results showed that the cell viability was 91.3861.55%on day 29,and the cells in the proliferation plateau at this time still maintained their dynamic renewal with a DNA replication rate of 6.0661.24%.This work provides a convenient and practical bioink option for 3D bioprinting in precise soft tissue repair.Hongqing Chen Fei Fei Xinda Li Zhenguo Nie Dezhi Zhou Libiao Liu Jing Zhang Haitao Zhang Zhou Fei Tao Xu 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,3:0
9Implementing Broadcast Encryption Scheme Using Bilinear Map and Group Characteristic显示文摘This paper introduced a novel method for implementing broadcast encryption. Our scheme takes advantages of bilinear map and group characteristic, and shifts most of the storage overhead to the public device instead of storing in the tamper-proof device which is a major problem on current implementation.
