| 1 | Measure theory of statistical convergence显示文摘The question of establishing measure theory for statistical convergence has been moving closer to center stage, since a kind of reasonable theory is not only fundamental for unifying various kinds of statistical convergence, but also a bridge linking the studies of statistical convergence across measure theory, integration theory, probability and statistics. For this reason, this paper, in terms of subdifferential, first shows a representation theorem for all finitely additive probability measures defined on the σ-algebra A of all subsets of N, and proves that every such measure can be uniquely decomposed into a convex combination of a countably additive probability measure and a statistical measure (i.e. a finitely additive probability measure μ with μ(k) = 0 for all singletons {k}). This paper also shows that classical statistical measures have many nice properties, such as: The set S of all such measures endowed with the topology of point-wise convergence on A forms a compact convex Hausdorff space; every classical statistical measure is of continuity type (hence, atomless), and every specific class of statistical measures fits a complementation minimax rule for every subset in N. | 2 | Response of PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species to emission variations and associated health risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic in a coastal megacity显示文摘The coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic is disrupting the world from many aspects.In this study,the impact of emission variations on PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species and health risks associated to inhalation exposure has been analyzed based on real-time measurements at a remote coastal site in Shanghai during the pandemic.Most trace elemental species decreased significantly and displayed almost no diel peaks during the lockdown.After the lockdown,they rebounded rapidly,of which V and Ni even exceeded the levels before the lockdown,suggesting the recovery of both inland and shipping activities.Five sources were identified based on receptor modeling.Coal combustion accounted for more than 70%of the measured elemental concentrations before and during the lockdown.Shipping emissions,fugitive/mineral dust,and waste incineration all showed elevated contributions after the lockdown.The total non-carcinogenic risk(HQ)for the target elements exceeded the risk threshold for both children and adults with chloride as the predominant species contributing to HQ.Whereas,the total carcinogenic risk(TR)for adults was above the acceptable level and much higher than that for children.Waste incineration was the largest contributor to HQ,while manufacture processing and coal combustion were the main sources of TR.Lockdown control measures were beneficial for lowering the carcinogenic risk while unexpectedly increased the non-carcinogenic risk.From the perspective of health effects,priorities of control measures should be given to waste incineration,manufacture processing,and coal combustion.A balanced way should be reached between both lowering the levels of air pollutants and their health risks. | Guochen Wang Kan Huang Qingyan Fu Jia Chen Juntao Huo Qianbiao Zhao Yusen Duan Yanfen Lin Fan Yang Wenjie Zhang Hao Li Jian Xu Xiaofei Qin Na Zhao Congrui Deng | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12: | 2 |

| 10 | A novel protein complex that regulates active DNA demethylation in Arabidopsis显示文摘Active DNA demethylation is critical for altering DNA methylation patterns and regulating gene expression.The 5-methylcytosine DNA glycosylase/lyase ROS1 initiates a base-excision repair pathway for active DNA demethylation and is required for the prevention of DNA hypermethylation at 1000 s of genomic regions in Arabidopsis.How ROS1 is regulated and targeted to specific genomic regions is not well understood.Here,we report the discovery of an Arabidopsis protein complex that contains ROS1,regulates ROS1 gene expression,and likely targets the ROS1 protein to specific genomic regions.ROS1 physically interacts with a WD40 domain protein(RWD40),which in turn interacts with a methyl-DNA binding protein(RMB1)as well as with a zinc finger and homeobox domain protein(RHD1).RMB1 binds to DNA that is methylated in any sequence context,and this binding is necessary for its function in vivo.Loss-of-function mutations in RWD40,RMB1,or RHD1 cause DNA hypermethylation at several tested genomic regions independently of the known ROS1 regulator IDM1.Because the hypermethylated genomic regions include the DNA methylation monitoring sequence in the ROS1 promoter,plants mutated in RWD40,RMB1,or RHD1 show increased ROS1 expression.Importantly,ROS1 binding to the ROS1 promoter requires RWD40,RMB1,and RHD1,suggesting that this complex dictates ROS1 targeting to this locus.Our results demonstrate that ROS1 forms a protein complex with RWD40,RMB1,and RHD1,and that this novel complex regulates active DNA demethylation at several endogenous loci in Arabidopsis. | Pan Liu Wen-Feng Nie Xiansong Xiong Yuhua Wang Yuwei Jiang Pei Huang Xueqiang Lin Guochen Qin Huan Huang Qingfeng Niu Jiamu Du Zhaobo Lang Rosa Lozano-Duran Jian-Kang Zhu | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,4: | 0 |
