1Gini Coefficient-based Task Allocation for Multi-robot Systems With Limited Energy Resources显示文摘Nowadays, robots generally have a variety of capabilities, which often form a coalition replacing human to work in dangerous environment, such as rescue, exploration, etc. In these operating conditions, the energy supply of robots usually cannot be guaranteed. If the energy resources of some robots are consumed too fast, the number of the future tasks of the coalition will be affected. This paper will develop a novel task allocation method based on Gini coefficient to make full use of limited energy resources of multi-robot system to maximize the number of tasks. At the same time, considering resources consumption,we incorporate the market-based allocation mechanism into our Gini coefficient-based method and propose a hybrid method,which can flexibly optimize the task completion number and the resource consumption according to the application contexts.Experiments show that the multi-robot system with limited energy resources can accomplish more tasks by the proposed Gini coefficient-based method, and the hybrid method can be dynamically adaptive to changes of the work environment and realize the dual optimization goals.Danfeng Wu Guangping Zeng Lingguo Meng Weijian Zhou Linmin Li 2018IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2018,5,1:6

6Availability and cost-benefit evaluation for a repairable retrial system with warm standbys and priority显示文摘This paper investigates a warm standby repairable retrial system with two types of components and a single reparman,where type 1 components have priority over type 2 in use.Failure and repair times for each type of component are assumed to be exponential distributions.The retrial feature is considered and the retrial time of each failed component is exponentially distributed.By using Markov process theory and matrix analytic method,the system steady-state probabil-ities are derived,and the system steady-state availability and some steady-state performance indices are obtained.Using the Bayesian approach,the system parameters can be estimated.The cost-benefit ratio function of the system is constructed based on the failed components and repairman's states.Numerical experiments are given to evaluate the effect of each parameter on the system steady-state availability and optimize the system cost-benefit ratio with repair rate as a decision variable.Jia Kang Linmin Hu Rui Peng Yan Li Ruiling Tian 2023Statistical Theory and Related Fields2023,7,2:0
7Cavitation Evolution Around a Twist Hydrofoil by Large Eddy Simulation(LES)with Mesh Adaption显示文摘The cavitating flow around a Delft Twist-11 hydrofoil is simulated using the large eddy simulation approach.The volume-of-fluid method incorporated with the Schnerr-Sauer cavitation model is utilized to track the water-vapor interface.Adaptive mesh refinement(AMR)is also applied to improve the simulation accuracy automatically.Two refinement levels are conducted to verify the dominance of AMR in predicting cavitating flows.Results show that cavitation features,including the U-type structure of shedding clouds,are consistent with experimental observations.Even a coarse mesh can precisely capture the phase field without increasing the total cell number significantly using mesh adaption.The predicted shedding frequency agrees fairly well with the experimental data under refinement level 2.This study illustrates that AMR is a promising approach to achieve accurate simulations for multiscale cavitating flows within limited computational costs.Finally,the force element method is currently adopted to investigate the lift and drag fluctuations during the evolution of cavitation structure.The mechanisms of lift and drag fluctuations due to cavitation and the interaction between vorticity forces and cavitation are explicitly revealed.WANG Zhengdong LI Linmin LI Xiaojun YANG Chunye ZHU Zuchao 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,3:0
