| 1 | HBV infection decreases risk of liver metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer:A cohort study显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the effect of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection on liver metastasis of colorectal cancer.METHODS:A total of 1298 colorectal cancer patients were recruited from January 2001 to March 2005 in this study.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to test serum HBV markers for colorectal cancer.Patients were divided into study (infection) group and control (non-infection) group.Clinical features of patients in two groups were compared.RESULTS:Liver metastasis was found in 319 out of the 1298 colorectal cancer patients.The incidence of liver metastasis was significantly lower in study group than in control group (14.2% vs 28.2%,P < 0.01).HBV infection significantly decreased the risk of liver metastasis [hazard ratio (HR):0.50,95% confidence interval (95% CI):0.38-0.66],but the incidence of extrahepatic metastasis was significantly higher in study group than in control group (31.9% vs 17.0%,P < 0.01).The HR was the lowest in chronic hepatitis B group (HR:0.29,95% CI:0.12-0.72).The number of liver metastatic lesions was significantly less in study group than in control group with a higher surgical resection rate.However,no significant difference was found in survival rate between the two groups (P=0.95).CONCLUSION:HBV infection decreases the risk of liver metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer and elevates the surgical resection rate of liver metastatic lesions. | Hai-Bo Qiu Zhao-Lei Zeng Zhi-Qiang Wang Hui-Yan Luo Rajiv Prasad Keshari Zhi-Wei Zhou Rui-Hua Xu Li-Yi Zhang | 2011 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,6: | 19 |
| 2 | 三维培养药敏实验测定的胃癌药物敏感性与多药耐药基因蛋白表达的关系显示文摘背景与目的:目前胃癌化疗疗效尚不理想,通过预测个体肿瘤对药物的敏感性来指导临床治疗,以提高疗效,早已成为化疗界瞩目的问题。本研究通过三维培养药敏实验测定胃癌的药物敏感性,并通过测定多药耐药基因表达产物水平,分析两者之间的关系。方法:应用三维培养体外药敏实验技术,测定表阿霉素、顺铂、草酸铂、5-FU、泰素帝、伊立替康6种单药和5-FU+表阿霉素+顺铂、5-FU+伊立替康、5-FU+草酸铂、5-FU+泰素帝+顺铂4组联合用药对22例胃癌组织的抑制率,并计算敏感率;应用逆转录聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)和免疫组化法检测胃癌组织中MDR1、MRP1、ABCG2基因蛋白的表达。结果:单药组中5-FU对胃癌组织的抑制率和敏感率最高,分别为29.8%和50.0%;联合用药组抑制率最高为5-FU+泰素帝+顺铂(59.8%),敏感率最高为5-FU+表阿霉素+顺铂(77.3%);联合用药组抑制率和敏感率均高于单药组(P<0.05)。胃癌组织中MDR1、MRP1、ABCG2mRNA的阳性率分别为90.9%、54.5%、77.3%,MDR1、MRP1、ABCG2蛋白的阳性率分别为36.4%、54.5%、36.4%;多药耐药蛋白高表达与胃癌对表阿霉素的耐药有相关性(P<0.05)。结论:胃癌组织中多药耐药基因MDR1、MRP1、ABCG2蛋白高表达与胃癌组织对表阿霉素的耐药有关,提示这三种耐药基因可能参与介导表阿霉素的耐药。 | 袁庶强 周志伟 梁永钜 符立梧 陈功 Rajiv Prasad Keshari 张丽仪 | 2009 | 癌症2009,28,4: | 9 |
| 3 | Diagnostic assays developed for the control of foot-andmouth disease in India显示文摘Foot-and-mouth disease(FMD) is a highly contagious and economically devastating disease of livestock, primarily affecting cattle, buffalo and pigs. FMD virus serotypes O, A and Asia1 are prevalent in India and systematic efforts are on to control and eventually eradicate the disease from the country. FMD epidemiology is complex due to factors like co-circulation, extinction, emergence and re-emergence of genotypes/lineages within the three serotypes, animal movement, diverse farm practices and large number of susceptible livestock in the country. Systematic vaccination, prompt diagnosis, strict biosecurity measures, and regular monitoring of vaccinal immunity and surveillance of virus circulation are indispensible features for the effective implementation of the control measures. Availability of suitable companion diagnostic tests is very important in this endeavour. | 4 | Magnetic and ferroelectric properties of Zn and Mn co-doped BaTiO_3显示文摘This paper reports an approach to obtaining multiferroic properties in co-doped(Zn:Mn) Ba Ti O3 near room temperature.Interestingly,an unusual magnetic hysteresis loop is observed in the co-doped compositions in which the central portion of the loop is squeezed.However,in the composition Ba0.9Zn0.1Ti0.9Mn0.1O3,a broad magnetic hysteresis loop is observed.Such a magnetic effect is attributed to the coexistence of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic exchange interactions in the system.The observation of the above type of magnetic properties is likely to be due to the presence of exchange interactions between Mn ions.A lossy-type of ferroelectric hysteresis loop is also observed in co-doped ceramic compositions near room temperature. | Sangram Keshari Das Binod Kumar Roul | 2015 | Chinese Physics B2015,24,6: | 2 |
