1Selective feeding of bay scallop Argopecten irradians on phytoplankton community revealed by HPLC analysis of phytopigments in Bohai Sea, China显示文摘Understanding the feeding selectivity on phytoplankton by shellfi sh is currently a big challenge. In order to investigate the feeding behavior of bay scallop ( Argopecten irradians ) on phytoplankton, we compared its compositions of phytopigments in digestive glands with those in the surrounding seawater, and conducted fi ve consecutive investigations between July and November 2016 in a bay scallop culture area along coast of Qinghuangdao City, northwest of the Bohai Sea, China. Phytopigments in four-size fractionated phytoplankton of seawater (micro-(20-200 μm);nano(L)-[10-20 μm];nano(S)-[2.7-10 μm], and pico-[<2.7 μm]) and digestive glands of A . irradians were examined to investigate the selective feeding of A . irradians . Results show that fucoxanthin and peridinin constituted the major part of taxonomically diagnostic carotenoids (TDCs) in the micro- and nano(L)-phytoplankton in seawater. Compared with total phytoplankton biomass of seawater (TPB, sum of the four sizes), a substantial decrease of fucoxanthin proportion to total DCs in digestive glands was observed while that of peridinin, 19′-butanoyloxyfucoxanthin, alloxanthin and 19′-hexanoyloxy-fucoxanthin showed an obvious increase when those pigments were mainly confi ned to micro-sized phytoplankton (20-200 μm). However, zeaxanthin and prasinoxanthin were mainly confi ned to nano(s)- and pico-phytoplankton, of which the proportions in digestive glands were usually lower in TPB. 7Important clinical features of atypical antipsychotics in acute bipolar depression that inform routine clinical care: a review of pivotal studies with number needed to treat显示文摘English-language literature cited in MEDLINE from January,1980 to October 30,2014 was searched by using terms of antipsychotic,generic and brand names of atypical antipsychotics, 'bipolar depression/bipolar disorder', 'placebo',and 'trial'.The parameters of response(≥50%improvement on MADRS,Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale total score),remission(either ≤12 or 8 on MADRS total score at endpoint),discontinuation due to adverse events(DAEs),somnolence,≥7%weight gain,overall extrapyramidal side-effects(EPSs),and akathisia,were extracted from originally published primary outcome papers.The number needed to treat to benefit(NNT) for response and remission or harm(NNH) for DAEs or other side effects relative to placebo were estimated and presented with the estimate and 95%confidence interval.Olanzapine monotherapy,olanzapine-fluoxetine combination(OFC),quetiapine-IR monotherapy,quetiapine-XR monotherapy,lurasidone monotherapy,and lurasidone adjunctive therapy were superior to placebo with NNTs for responses of 11-12,4,7-8,4,4-5,and 7,and NNTs for remission of 11-12,4,5-11,7,6-7,and 6,respectively.There was no significant difference between OFC and lamotrigine,and between aripiprazole or ziprasidone and placebo in response and remission.Olanzapine monotherapy,quetiapine-IR,quetiapine-XR,aripiprazole,and ziprasidone 120-160 mg/day had significantly increased risk for DAEs with NNHs of 24,8-14,9,12,and 10,respectively.For somnolence,quetiapine-XR had the smallest NNH of 4.For ≥7%weight gain,olanzapine monotherapy and OFC had the smallest NNHs with both of 5.For akathisia,aripiprazole had the smallest NNH of 5.These findings suggest that among the FDA-approved agents including OFC,quetiapine-IR and-XR,lurasidone monotherapy and adjunctive therapy to a mood stabilizer,the differences in the NNTs for response and remission are small,but the differences in NNHs for DAEs and common side-effects are large.Therefore,the selection of an FDA-approved atypical antipsychotic for bipolar depression should be based upon safety and tolerability.Keming Gao Chengmei Yuan Renrong Wu Jun Chen Zuowei Wang Yiru Fang Joseph R.Calabrese 2015Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,5:1
8Hydrogen evolution-assisted one-pot aqueous synthesis of hierarchical trimetallic PdNiRu nanochains for hydrazine oxidation reaction显示文摘A hydrogen evolution-assisted one-pot aqueous approach was developed for facile synthesis of trimetallic Pd Ni Ru alloy nanochain-like networks(Pd Ni Ru NCNs) by only using KBH_4 as the reductant, without any specific additive(e.g. surfactant, polymer, template or seed). The products were mainly investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The hierarchical architectures were formed by the oriented assembly growth and the diffusioncontrolled deposition in the presence of many in-situ generated hydrogen bubbles. The architectures had the largest electrochemically active surface area(ECSA) of 84.32 m^2 g^(–1) Pdthan Pd Ni nanoparticles(NPs,65.23 m^2 g^(–1) Pd), Pd Ru NPs(23.12 m^2 g^(–1) Pd), Ni Ru NPs(nearly zero), and commercial Pd black(6.01 m^2 g^(–1) Pd), outperforming the referenced catalysts regarding the catalytic characters for hydrazine oxygen reaction(HOR). 9Corrosion Resistance of Fused Cr_2O_3-Al_2O_3 Grains with Different Compositions显示文摘Six kinds of Cr2O3 Al2O3 fused grains ( the mass percent of Cr2O3 was 15% ,40% ,50% ,60% ,85% and 99% ,respectively) were prepared using chrome green and Al2O3 powder as starting materials by electrofusion,named as CR15,CR40,CR50,CR60,CR85, and CR99,respectively. The corrosion resistance of the six kinds of Cr2O3 Al2O3 fused grains ( 4 1 mm) was studied using rotary slag corrosion method. The results show that: ( 1) the corrosion resistance of the fused grains increases with the Cr2O3 content and the grain size increasing; ( 2) the grains of CR99 and CR85 with higher Cr2O3 content are corroded at the slag surface layer,because FeO and Al2O3 in the slag corrode the grains; FeO reacts with Cr2O3 in the aggregates forming ( Fe,Cr) 3O4 spinel firstly,and the spinel reacts with other phases forming composite spinel; when FeO is fully consumed,Al2O3 penetrated into the grains reacts with Cr2O3 forming Al2O3 Cr2O3 solid solution on the grains surface; ( 3) for CR60,the corrosion exists both in the slag surface layer and in the penetration layer; in the penetration layer,CaO and SiO2 react with Al2O3 in Al2O3 Cr2O3 solid solution forming anorthite, gehlenite, and glass phase; the grains of CR50,CR40 and CR15 have the same corrosion mechanism with CR60 in the penetration layer.WANG Han LAN Heqing GENG Keming LV Shiping FANG Xu 2012China's Refractories2012,21,2:0
10A new acid pickling process for copper alloys显示文摘The cleaning process of removing oxides on the surface of copper alloy sheets was investigated systematically. Through optimizing, a perfect process was selected that is fit for removing oxides on the surface. By acid pickling, all kinds of copper oxides are removed completely, furthermore, no poisonous gases are given out and a smooth and clean surface of copper alloys is obtained.
