2Comparing the Diagnostic Criteria for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus of World Health Organization 2013 with 1999 in Chinese Population显示文摘INTRODUCTION Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) was earlier defined as 'hyperglycemia first recognized during pregnancy' and has more recently been described by American Diabetes Association (ADA) (2012) as diabetes diagnosed during pregnancy that is not clearly overt diabetes.[1] The hyperglycemia and adverse pregnancy outcomes study (HAPO) demonstrated that the risk of adverse maternal,fetal,and neonatal outcomes continuously increase as a function of maternal glycemia at 24-28 weeks,even within ranges previously considered normal for pregnancy.[2] After reviewing the results of the HAPO study,many international diabetes study groups,including the International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups and ADA have adopted the 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) at 24-28 weeks as a screening and diagnostic test and defined new cut-off values for GDM diagnosis.The Ministry of Health of China published the criteria for GDM,that is the same as the ADA criteria on July 1,2011.World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended the 75 g OGTT with different cut-offvalues as a diagnostic test since 1999,changed its recommendation on 2013.In Hongkong and Yunnan province in China,most hospital adopted the WHO 1999 criteria,nevertheless,there is no evidence of multicenter and large sample to show that the GDM population within the same ethnic group diagnosed by the new WHO criteria matches those diagnosed by the old one and consistency between the two criteria has not been reported.Thus,we conducted this study to analyze the two criteria in Chinese pregnant women.Weiwei Zhu Huixia Yang Yumei Wei Zilian Wang Xuelan Li Hairong Wu Nan Li Meihua Zhang Xinghui Liu Hua Zhang Yunhui Wang Jianmin Niu Yujie Gan Liruo Zhong Yunfeng Wang Anil Kapur 2015Chinese Medical Journal2015,,1:42
3靶区和剂量控制下125Ⅰ粒子治疗颅内恶性肿瘤的再评价显示文摘目的再次评价靶区和剂量控制下125I粒子治疗颅内恶性肿瘤的疗效和并发症。方法回顾分析2003年11月—2016年5月青岛大学附属医院、山东省滕州市中心人民医院、山东省邹平中医院等12家医院310例颅内恶性肿瘤患者412次手术的临床资料,分析靶区和剂量控制下125I粒子治疗颅内恶性肿瘤的技术,评价疗效和并发症。对颅内恶性肿瘤进行分层研究,行靶区和剂量控制下125I粒子治疗。结果单发脑转移瘤、低级别胶质瘤、高级别胶质瘤、手术后复发、放疗后复发、其他(脑膜瘤、垂体瘤等)中位生存期分别是19、67、41、26、23、46个月;中位无进展生存时间分别是19、42、6、9、11、12个月。并发症种类多,发生率低,总并发症发生率10.4%;术后7~45 d死亡3例。结论靶区和剂量控制下125I粒子治疗颅内恶性肿瘤可以取得较好的疗效,而并发症较低,与外科切除、外放射治疗各具特点,应该进一步研究,并形成临床路径。胡效坤 彭丽静 刘士锋 张开贤 刘院生 张福君 朱旭东 巩秀珍 高阳 王德峰 Tina Kapur 李子祥 2017中华医学杂志2017,97,19:9

7Gene expression profile of esophageal cancer in North East India by cDNA microarray analysis显示文摘AIM: To identify alterations in genes and molecular functional pathways in esophageal cancer in a high incidence region of India where there is a widespread use of tobacco and betel quid with fermented areca nuts. METHODS: Total RNA was isolated from tumor and matched normal tissue of 16 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Pooled tumor tissue RNA was labeled with Cy3-dUTP and pooled normal tissue RNA was labeled with Cy5-dUTP by direct labeling method. The labeled probes were hybridized with human 10K cDNA chip and expression profiles were analyzed by Genespring GX V 7.3 (Silicon Genetics). RESULTS: Nine hundred twenty three genes were differentially expressed. Of these, 611 genes were upregulated and 312 genes were downregulated. Using stringent criteria (P ≤ 0.05 and ≥ 1.5 fold change), 127 differentially expressed genes (87 upregulated and 40 downregulated) were identified in tumor tissue. On the basis of Gene Ontology, four different molecular functional pathways (MAPK pathway, G-protein coupled receptor family, ion transport activity, and serine or threonine kinase activity) were most significantly upregulated and six different molecular functional pathways (structural constituent of ribosome, endopeptidase inhibitor activity, structural constituent of cytoskeleton, antioxidant activity, acyl group transferase activity, eukaryotic translation elongation factor activity) were most significantly downregulated. CONCLUSION: Several genes that showed alterations in our study have also been reported from a high incidence area of esophageal cancer in China. Russell body collections have been identified within the stomach, known as Russell body gastritis. Similar lesions within the duodenum are referred to as Russell body duodenitis, which is rare. Several Russell body gastritis case reports are associated with Helicobacter pylori. However, the etiology of Russell body duodenitis remains unclear. 14Comprehensive G?bner Basis Theory for a Parametric Polynomial Ideal and the Associated Completion Algorithm显示文摘Gr?bner basis theory for parametric polynomial ideals is explored with the main objective of mimicking the Gr?bner basis theory for ideals. Given a parametric polynomial ideal, its basis is a comprehensive Gr?bner basis if and only if for every specialization of its parameters in a given field, the specialization of the basis is a Gr?bner basis of the associated specialized polynomial ideal.For various specializations of parameters, structure of specialized ideals becomes qualitatively different even though there are significant relationships as well because of finiteness properties. Key concepts foundational to Gr?bner basis theory are reexamined and/or further developed for the parametric case:(i) Definition of a comprehensive Gr?bner basis,(ii) test for a comprehensive Gr?bner basis,(iii) parameterized rewriting,(iv) S-polynomials among parametric polynomials,(v) completion algorithm for directly computing a comprehensive Gr?bner basis from a given basis of a parametric ideal. Elegant properties of Gr?bner bases in the classical ideal theory, such as for a fixed admissible term ordering,a unique Gr?bner basis can be associated with every polynomial ideal as well as that such a basis can be computed from any Gr?bner basis of an ideal, turn out to be a major challenge to generalize for parametric ideals; issues related to these investigations are explored.
