| 1 | Drop casting based superhydrophobic and electrically conductive coating for high performance strain sensing显示文摘Conductive polymer composites(CPCs)strain sensors exhibit promising applications in flexible electronics, people’s health monitoring, etc. It remains a big challenge to develop a simple and cost-effective method to prepare CPCs with high conductivity, corrosion resistance, strong interfacial adhesion and high sensitivity. Here,we propose a facile“drop-casting and fluorination”strategy to fabricate superhydrophobic and highly electrically conductive coating by Ag precursor adsorption onto a commercially available elastic tape, subsequent chemical reduction and final fluorination. The Ag nanoparticles could not only construct the electrically conductive network but also greatly enhance the surface roughness. The contact angle and electrical conductivity of the coating can reach as high as 156°and 126 S/cm,respectively.When used for strain sensing, the superhydrophobic and conductive coating shows a high gauger factor(up to 7631 with the strain from 44%to 50%)and outstanding recyclability. The strain sensor could monitor different body joint motions with the stable and reliable sensing signals even after long time treatment in a corrosive solution. | Ling Wang Lisheng Wu Yuqing Wang Junchen Luo Huaiguo Xue Jiefeng Gao | 2022 | Nano Materials Science2022,4,2: | 2 |
| 2 | Phase engineering two-dimensional nanostructures for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Hydrogen(H2)is considered to be a promising substitute for fossil fuels.Two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials have exhibited an efficient electrocatalytic capacity to catalyze hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Particularly, phase engineering of 2D nanomaterials is opening a novel research direction to endow 2D nanostructures with fascinating properties for deep applications in catalyzing HER.In this review,we briefly summarize the research progress and present the current challenges on phase engineering of 2D nanomaterials for their applications in electrocatalytic HER.Our summary will be of significance to provide fundamental understanding for designing novel 2D nanomaterials with unconventional phases to electrochemically catalyze HER. | Zhongshui Li Yang Yue Junchen Peng Zhimin Luo | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1: | 1 |
| 3 | Incorporating metal nanoparticles in porous materials via selective heating effect using microwave显示文摘Metal nanoparticle@porous material composites have attracted increasing attention due to their excellent synergistic catalytic performance. However,it is a challenge to introduce metal nanoparticles into cavities of porous materials without agglomeration on the exterior.Despite the progress achieved,a universal approach that can integrate different kinds of metal nanoparticles and porous materials is still highly desirable. Here we report a facile and general approach to fabricating metal nanoparticle@porous materials by microwave-triggered selective heating. The microwave can pass through the non-polar solvent and act on the polar solvent in the porous materials, causing the polar solvent to be heated, vaporized, and away from the pores of porous materials. The local void produced by the escape of polar solvent facilitates non-polar solvent containing metallic precursor to be dragged into the narrow pores, followed by further reduction, resulting in the complete encapsulation of nanoparticles.A series of metal nanoparticles@porous materials, ranging from metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)to zeolites, are successfully prepared by this method and show excellent size selectivity in catalytic reactions. | Yingyu Zhou Jiacheng Liu Fuyuan Sun Junchen Ouyang Ruifa Su Fanchen Meng Yongqi Luo Cheng Xu Weina Zhang Suoying Zhang Fengwei Huo | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,4: | 0 |
| 4 | Concentrated ternary ether electrolyte allows for stable cycling of a lithium metal battery with commercial mass loading high-nickel NMC and thin anodes显示文摘A new concentrated ternary salt ether-based electrolyte enables stable cycling of lithium metal battery(LMB)cells with high-mass-loading(13.8 mg cm^(−2),2.5 mAh cm^(−2))NMC622(LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2))cathodes and 50μm Li anodes.Termed“CETHER-3,”this electrolyte is based on LiTFSI,LiDFOB,and LiBF4 with 5 vol%fluorinated ethylene carbonate in 1,2-dimethoxyethane.Commer-cial carbonate and state-of-the-art binary salt ether electrolytes were also tested as baselines. With CETHER-3,the electrochemical performance of the full-cell battery is among the most favorably reported in terms of high-voltage cycling stability. For example,LiNi_(x)Mn_(y)Co_(1-x-y)O_(2)(NMC)-Li metal cells retain 80%capacity at 430 cycles with a 4.4 V cut-off and 83%capacity at 100 cycles with a 4.5 V cut-off(charge at C/5,discharge at C/2).According to simulation by density functional theory and molecular dynamics, this favorable performance is an outcome of enhanced coordination between Li^(+)and the solvent/salt molecules.Combining advanced microscopy(high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy)and surface science(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,time-of-fight secondary ion mass spectroscopy,Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy),it is demonstrated that a thinner and more stable cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI)and solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)are formed. The CEI is rich in lithium sulfide(Li_(2)SO_(3)),while the SEI is rich in Li_(3)N and LiF.During cycling, the CEI/SEI suppresses both the deleterious transformation of the cathode R-3m layered near-surface structure into disordered rock salt and the growth of lithium metal dendrites. | Jun Yang Xing Li Ke Qu Yixian Wang Kangqi Shen Changhuan Jiang Bo Yu Pan Luo Zhuangzhi Li Mingyang Chen Bingshu Guo Mingshan Wang Junchen Chen Zhiyuan Ma Yun Huang Zhenzhong Yang Pengcheng Liu Rong Huang Xiaodi Ren David Mitlin | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,3: | 0 |
