1Epoxy asphalt concrete paving on the deck of long-span steel bridges显示文摘It is the first systematic research in the world on the composition design of epoxy asphalt concrete as pav- ing material. Material characteristics and service perform- ance of mixture, fatigue resistance characteristics of epoxy asphalt concrete by the fatigue test of complex beam have also been described. This research indicates that epoxy as-phalt concrete is a good type of paving material. Research results have been applied successfully in the paving of steel deck of the Second Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge (SNYRB). 2Development of distributed time-variant gain model for nonlinear hydrological systems显示文摘In this paper, a rainfall-runoff modeling system is developed based on a nonlinear Volterra functional series and a hydrological conceptual modeling approach. Two models, i.e. the time-variant gain model (TVGM) and the distributed time-variant gain model (DTVGM) that are built on the platform of Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Remote Sensing (RS) and Unit Hydro-logical Process were proposed. The developed DTVGM model was applied to two cases in the Heihe River Basin that is located in the arid and semiarid region of northwestern China and the Chaobai River basin located in the semihumid region of northern China. The results indicate that, in addition to the classic dynamic differential approach to describe nonlinear processes in hy-drological systems, it is possible to study such complex processes through the proposed sys-tematic approach to identify prominent hydrological relations. The DTVGM, coupling the advan-tages of both nonlinear and distributed hydrological models, can simulate variant hydrological processes under different environment conditions. 3Siliceous microplankton fluxes and seasonal variations in the central South China Sea during 1993-1995: monsoon climate and ? Nino responses显示文摘Seasonal variations of radiolarian and diatom fluxes in the central South China Sea during 1993-1995 were overwhelmingly controlled by monsoon climate. Radiolarian and diatom increased obviously during the Northeast (from November to February) and Southwest (from June to September) monsoons and decreased during the periods between the monsoons. The change of circulation driven by the monsoons improved water exchange in the different areas that brought rich nutrient materials for the surface microplankton, thereby enhancing radiolarian and diatom fluxes. Variation of radiolarian flux coincided with organic carbon flux, surface primary and export productivities. High radiolarian flux corresponded to high surface primary productivity. 4Ribozyme probe based on molecular beacon for real time monitoring of enzymatic cleavage process显示文摘Ribozyme probe based on molecular beacon (MBR) for monitoring enzymatic cleavage process in real time is designed and studied. The approach relies on ri-bozyme substrates modified at the two arms, with a fluores-cent moiety attached to the end of one arm and a non-fluorescent quenching moiety attached to the end of the other arm. MBR is employed to directly convert the cleavage information into fluorescence signal in real time. Compared with traditional approach, this method provides a no-radiolabeling, sensitive and effective way to research on the ribozyme activity, enzymatic dynamic process and ri-bozyme function during gene therapy. 9Synthesis, crystal structure and properties of binuclear manganese complex [(bipy)_2Mn_2(/J-O)(/i-Ac)_2(H_2O)_2](ClO_4)_2显示文摘Binuclear manganese complex [(bipy)2Mn2(μ-O)(μ-Ac)2(H2O)2](CIO4)2 was synthesized by the reaction of MnAc3 · 2H2O with 2,2’-bipyridine in the HAc-NaAc buffer (pH = 4.0). X-ray diffraction result for the single crystal shows that the crystal is monoclinic, space group C2/C, with a = 3.4082(7), 6 = 0.8644(2), c= 2.174 9(4) nm,β= 105.2°, V =6.186(2) nm3, Z= 8. There are two very strong peaks of UV-Vis spectrum in the range of 400-600 nm, which are similar to those of Mn catalase and Mn ribonuleotide reductase extracted from organisms. 11Modified 'DMC' technique for stretching DNA molecules显示文摘A modified 'dynamic molecular combing'(DMC) technique used for stretching double-stranded DNA is reported. DNA molecules were stretched on the silanized mica surface by this technique, its speed being precisely controlled with a computer. 13Syntheses and Configuration Inversion of Substituted Oxazolines显示文摘The present paper covers the simply and highly stereoselective syntheses of (α-S, 4S)-2-dichloromethyl- 4, 5-dihydro-α- ( 4-nitrophenyl)- 4-oxazolemethanol (4a), (α-S,4S)-2-methyl-4,5-dihydro-α- (4-nitrophenyl)-4-oxazolemethanol (4b), and (α-R, 4R)-2-dichloromethyl-4,5-di-hydro-α- [ (4-methylsulfonyl) phenyl] - 4 -oxazolemethanol (4c) with good yields ( 80 % - 900% ).
