2Study on the relation between damage and permeability of sandstone at depth under cyclic loading显示文摘The damage and permeability evolution of rock under stress is of great significance to engineering safety.In this paper,the evolution law of rock damage and permeability is studied by means of acoustic emission (AE) seepage experiment on deep roof sandstone with cyclic loading.Characterization of damage uses the changes in acoustic emission fractal characteristics and compression parameter which based on elastic modulus.The experimental results show that the AE events has fractal characteristic,in which the AE b-value and correlation dimension can represent the damage of rock.When the fractal characteristic value of AE increases,it indicates that the rock is in the compaction stage and the damage is not obvious.When the fractal characteristic value of AE drops,it indicates that the rock was damaged,and the permeabilityincrease.Under the cyclic load increasing step by step,the elastic modulus first increases and then decrease.Introducing compression parameter C to characterize the state of compaction and damage,it is obtained that the rock damage state and hydrostatic permeability show a power law function relationship with porosity and have the same monotonicity.When compression parameter is less than zero,the evolution law of permeability and damage can be described by functional relationship between hydrostatic permeability K and compression parameter C.Yang Zhao Hongwei Zhou Jiangcheng Zhong Di Liu 2019International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2019,6,4:3
3Research on a Ka-Band MEMS Power Sensor Investigated with an MEMS Cantilever Beam显示文摘In this work, a novel high overload Ka-band power sensor with a Micro-electro-mechanical system(MEMS) cantilever beam is investigated in order to improve the measurement dynamic range and the bandwidth.The fabrication of the Ka-band power sensor is divided into front side and back side processing with a combination of surface and bulk micromachining of Ga As.The low-power measurement reveals that the terminating-type sensitivity is close to 0.081, 0.076 and0.072 m V/m W at 34, 35 and 36 GHz, respectively. The high-power measurement indicates that the capacitivetype sensitivity is around 4.9 f F/W at Ka-band. The overload power measurements show that the MEMS cantilever beam can improve the dynamic range by increasing the top end of the range into no less than200 m W, and enhance the bandwidth by increasing the top end of the range into no less than 36 GHz. 6Identification and Analysis of Human Sex-biased MicroRNAs显示文摘Sex differences are widely observed under various circumstances ranging from physiological processes to therapeutic responses, and a myriad of sex-biased genes have been identified. In recent years, transcriptomic datasets of microRNAs(miRNAs), an important class of non-coding RNAs, become increasingly accessible. However, comprehensive analysis of sex difference in miRNA expression has not been performed. Here, we identified the differentially-expressed miRNAs between males and females by examining the transcriptomic datasets available in public databases and conducted a systemic analysis of their biological characteristics. Consequently, we identified 73 female-biased miRNAs(FmiRs) and 163 male-biased miRNAs(MmiRs) across four tissues including brain, colorectal mucosa, peripheral blood, and cord blood. Our results suggest that compared to FmiRs, MmiRs tend to be clustered in the human genome and exhibit higher evolutionary rate, higher expression tissue specificity, and lower disease spectrum width. In addition,functional enrichment analysis of miRNAs show that FmiR genes are significantly associated with metabolism process and cell cycle process, whereas MmiR genes tend to be enriched for functions like histone modification and circadian rhythm. 8Model Error Correction in Data Assimilation by Integrating Neural Networks显示文摘In this paper, we suggest a new methodology which combines Neural Networks(NN) into Data Assimilation(DA). Focusing on the structural model uncertainty, we propose a framework for integration NN with the physical models by DA algorithms, to improve both the assimilation process and the forecasting results. The NNs are iteratively trained as observational data is updated. The main DA models used here are the Kalman filter and the variational approaches. 11In-situ observation and modeling approach to evolution of pore-fracture structure in coal显示文摘The characterisation of the pore-fracture structure(PFS)and its evolution in coal during mining are essential for preventing gas outbursts and improving gas extraction efficiency.In this study,the evolution of the PFS in coal samples under the condition of mining stress was directly captured in situ by combination of the mechanical testing system with high-precision visualisation nuclear magnetic resonance equipment.A fractional derivative model was established to describe the relationship between stress and porosity based on experimental results of the PFS under different stress states.The results showed that with an increase in the deviatoric stress,the adsorption pore content increases rapidly initially and then increases slowly or remains unchanged;the seepage pore and fracture(SPF)content decreases initially and then increases.The SPF compressibility coefficient decreases with an increase in the deviatoric stress.The fractional derivative model can accurately describe the stress sensitivity of the SPFs at the pre-peak stage,thus providing a new approach for accurately characterising the seepage characteristics of coal reservoirs.Hongwei Zhou Zelin Liu Jiawei Zhao Bocen Chen Xiangnan Li Jiangcheng Zhong 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,3:1
