1Analysis and Design of Four-Plate Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System for Undersea Applications显示文摘This paper presents a four-plate undersea capacitive wireless power transfer(CPT)system for underwater applications such as autonomous underwater vehicles(AUVs).Generally,a CPT system transfers the power based on electric fields.The complex resonant compensation networks are used to make the CPT system work in the resonant condition.The resonant voltage is always very high.It will be a big challenge to the human safety.In this paper,a virtual electrons periodic reciprocating flow theory is proposed for the CPT system.In one switching cycle,the electrons firstly flow in the forward direction through the forward path and then flow in the inverse direction through the inverse path.The CPT system has been deeply studied with the vacuum dielectric or the air dielectric.However,for the CPT system,there are few papers to show the underwater application.In this paper,an undersea four-plate CPT system is designed and studied in the underwater condition.The two coupling capacitors and other elements of the CPT system could build a closed-loop path.A small value inductor is adapted as a resonant compensation network for the four-plate CPT system.The DC voltage is inverted to the AC voltage in the primary side with the single-phase full-bridge inverter.The resonant voltage is rectified to the DC voltage in the secondary side with the single-phase full-bridge diode rectifier.A 100 W power level CPT system is constructed to verify the theory analysis and the calculation.The theory analysis is verified by the simulated and experimental results.The stable output voltage and load power are achieved in this paper.Lei Yang Yuanqi Zhang Xiaojie Li Jiale Jian Zhe Wang Jingjing Huang Li Ma Xiangqian Tong 2021CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2021,5,3:9
2Simultaneous attack of a stationary target using multiple missiles: a consensus-based approach显示文摘This paper considers the simultaneous attack problem of multiple missiles against a stationary target. Built upon the classic proportional navigation structure, we propose a consensus-based approach to design the cooperative guidance law. Specifically, we present time-varying navigation ratios for the missiles,which exchange the time-to-go estimates between neighboring missiles via a communication network. For the cases where the communication topology is undirected or in the leader–follower structure with a missile acting as the leader whose navigation ratio cannot be tuned, we show that the proposed cooperative guidance law can solve the simultaneous attack problem. 4Genome-wide identification and co-expression network analysis of the Os NF-Y gene family in rice显示文摘Nuclear factor Y(NF-Y) is a ubiquitous transcription factor that regulates important physiological and developmental processes. In this study, we identified 34 Os NF-Y genes in rice, including 6 newly identified genes. Expression profile analysis covering the whole life cycle revealed that transcripts of Os NF-Y differentially accumulated in a tissue-specific,preferential or constitutive manner. In addition, gene duplication studies and expression analyses were performed to determine the evolutionary origins of the Os NF-Y gene family.Nine Os NF-Y genes were differentially expressed after treatment of seedlings with one or more abiotic stresses such as drought, salt and cold. Analysis of expression correlation and Gene Ontology annotation suggested that Os NF-Y genes were co-expressed with genes that participated in stress, accumulation of seed storage reserves, and plant development.Co-expression analysis also revealed that Os NF-Y genes might interact with each other,suggesting that NF-Y subunits formed complexes that take part in transcriptional regulation. 5Cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as the cathode electrocatalyst for high-performance lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage but are confronted with several challenges. One of the possible solutions is to design proper cathode electrocatalysts to accelerate the redox interconversion of solvated polysulfide intermediates. Herein, we report cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as an effective cathode electrocatalyst for lithium-polysulfide batteries. The electrocatalyst material is prepared from the simple reaction between melamine and cyanuric acid in the presence of Co^2+, followed by the Ar annealing. The product has a unique hierarchical structure consisting of many thin and porous C3 N4 nanosheets finely dispersed with Co atoms. The atomic dispersion of Co species is confirmed by X-ray absorption experiments.Electrochemical measurements reveal that it can promote the interconversion of polysulfides. 6Evaluation of paliperidone on social function in patients with chronic schizophrenia显示文摘Background The impairment of social function is widespread in the patients with chronic schizophrenia, which seriously affects family, life and work conditions.Aims The main purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of paliperidone in the treatment of social function in chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 81 patients who met the standard criteria for schizophrenia and long-term hospitalised inpatients were randomly divided into the treatment group and normal control group following a 1-year prospective follow-up study. The reatment group(41 cases) used paliperidone extended-release tablets for reducing dosage, as appropriate, based on the original treatment strategy; and the control group(40 cases) used the former drugs. All patients were assessed using the Positive and Negative Symptom Scales(PANSS), and the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS) was used to assess adverse drug reactions. The Hospitalised Psychiatric Patients' Social Functions Rating Scale(SSPI) was used to assess social function of participants before and after 8 weeks, 6 months and 1 year of treatment.Results At baseline there were no significant differences between the two groups in age, duration of illness, educational background and dosage of antipsychotic drugs(converted into chlorpromazine equivalency). There was statistically significant difference in PANSS positive symptoms by interaction effect(Fgroup×time=18.24, df=3237, p<0.001) and time effect(Ftime=21.66, df=3, p<0.01) and the difference in PANSS positive symptoms by grouping effect(Fgroup=0.68, df=1, p=0.41) was not statistically significant. The difference of grouping effect of PANSS negative symptoms(Fgroup=9.93, df=1, p=0.002), time effect(Ftime=279.15, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=279.15, df=3237, p<0.001) were statistically significant. There were statistically significant differences in the grouping effect(Fgroup=6.59, df=1, p=0.012), time effect(Ftime=152.97, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=148.82, df=3237, p<0.001) of PANSS general pathological symptoms, the same as the total score of the PANSS, which showed large differences in grouping effect(Fgroup=7.04, df=1, p=0.001), time effect(Ftime=210.78, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=205.20, df=3237, p<0.01). We found in the total SSPI score, grouping effect(Fgroup=31.70, df=1, p<0.001), time effect(Ftime=161.84, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=132.74, df=3237, p<0.001) were demonstrated to be significantly different. 8How cat lands: insights into contribution of the forelimbs and hindlimbs to attenuating impact force显示文摘To safely land after different drops, cats can perfectly use their limbs as dampers to dissipate impact forces. Yet, we know little about the contribution of the forelimbs and hindlimbs of cats to attenuating the impact forces during landing. In order to investigate this, we analyzed the landing impulses and energy absorption based on the ground reaction forces and high-speed video recordings of cats performing self-initiated jump downs at different heights. Our results show that the distribution of impact forces between forelimbs and hindlimbs exhibits a landing height-dependent manner. Furthermore, combining the experimental measurements and the inverted pendulum-spring model, we find that variation in landing angle is correlated with the distribution manner. This posturedependent actuation allows the animal to tune the distribution of energy absorption between forelimbs and hindlimbs. 10The Research on 220GHz Multicarrier High-Speed Communication System显示文摘This paper presents our investigation into a 220 GHz multicarrier highspeed communication system based on solid state transceivers.The proposed system has eased the demand of high sampling rate analog-to-digital converter(ADC)by providing several signal carriers in microwave band and converting them to 220 GHz channel.The system consists of a set of 220 GHz solid-state transceiver with 2 signal carriers,two basebands for 4 GSPS ADCs.It has achieved 12.8 Gbps rate real-time signal transmission using 16QAM modulation over a distance of 20 m without any other auxiliary equipment or test instruments.The baseband algorithm overcomes the problem of frequency difference generates by non-coherent structure,which guarantees the feasibility of long-distance transmission application.Most importantly,the proposed system has already carried out multi-channel 8K video parallel transmission through switch equipment,which shows the multicarrier high-speed communication system in submillimeter wave has great application prospects.To the best of the authors’knowledge,this is the first all-solid-state electronics multicarrier communication system in submillimeter and terahertz band.Zhongqian Niu Bo Zhang Jiale Wang Ke Liu Zhi Chen Ke Yang Zhen Zhou Yong Fan Yaohui Zhang Dongfeng Ji Yinian Feng Yang Liu 2020China Communications2020,17,3:5
11Inverse problem of elastica of a variable-arc-length beam subjected to a concentrated load显示文摘An inverse problem of elastica of a variable-arclength beam subjected to a concentrated load is investigated.The beam is fixed at one end, and can slide freely over a hinge support at the other end. The inverse problem is to determine the value of the load when the deflection of the action point of the load is given. Based on the elasitca equations and the elliptic integrals, a set of nonlinear equations for the inverse problem are derived, and an analytical solution by means of iterations and Quasi-Newton method is presented. 12Experimental research of air-throttling ignition for a scramjet at Ma 6.5显示文摘An experimental investigation on ignition characteristics with air-throttling in an ethylene-fueled scramjet under flight Ma 6.5 conditions was conducted.The dynamic process of air-throttling ignition was explored systematically.The influences of throttling parameters,i.e.,throttling mass rate and duration,were investigated.When the throttling mass rate was 45% of the inflow mass rate,ambient ethylene could be ignited reliably.The delay time from ignition to throttling was about 45–55 ms.There was a threshold of throttling duration under a certain throttling mass rate.It was shorter than 100 ms when the throttling mass rate was 45%.While a 45%throttling mass rate would make the shock train propagate upstream to the isolator entry in about10–15 ms,four lower throttling mass rates were tested,including 30%,25%,20%,and 10%.All of these throttling mass rates could ignite ethylene.However,combustion performances varied with them.A higher throttling mass rate made more ethylene combust and produced higher wall pressure.Through these experiments,some aspects of the relationships between ignition,flame stabilization,combustion efficiency,and air-throttling parameters were brought to light.These results could also be a benchmark for CFD validation.Weixin DENG Jialing LE Shunhua YANG Wanzhou ZHANG Ye TIAN 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3:4

14Effectiveness of tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver therapy on diminished ovarian reserve: a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of the Traditional Chinese Medicine tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver therapy on diminished ovarian reserve(DOR).METHODS: The literature was comprehensively searched up to August 2019 using four Chinese and three English electronic databases to extract randomized clinical trials(RCTs) comparing Traditional Chinese Medicine tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver prescriptions(combined with hormone therapy or not) with Western Medicine. Data quality evaluation was conducted using the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Meta-analysis was conducted using Revman 5.3 software with effect estimates presented as mean difference(MD), risk ratio(RR), and95% confidence interval(CI).RESULTS: A total of nine RCTs with 512 participants were extracted and eligible for Meta-analysis.There were no significant differences between Chinese medicine and Western Medicine on basal serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) level(MD0.11, 95% CI-0.52 to 0.74, 392 participants, seven trials), anti-Müllerian hormone level(MD 0.48, 95%CI-0.62 to 1.58, 95 participants, two trials), and the FSH and luteinizing hormone ratio(MD 0.01,95% CI-0.95 to 0.96, 115 participants, two trials).Chinese medicine was more effective at improving Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores(TCMSS)(MD-2.39, 95% CI-3.83 to-0.94, 160 participants, three trials), effective rate of TCMSS(RR1.18, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.36, 160 participants, three trials), antral follicle count(AFC)(MD 0.55, 95% CI 0.05 to 1.04, 155 participants, three trials), and FSH levels at 3 months post-treatment(MD-4.77, 95% CI-6.09 to-3.45, 137 participants, two trials).CONCLUSION: Compared with Western Medicine,tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver therapy is more effective at relieving symptoms and improving AFC and FSH at 3 months post-treatment.Liu Liuqing Liu Yanfeng Yang Ming Xu Guiqin Li Ruiqi Xu Xiuli Pan Xue Liang Jialing 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,3:3
15Underwater gas self-transportation along femtosecond laser-written open superhydrophobic surface microchannels(<100μm)for bubble/gas manipulation显示文摘Underwater transportation of bubbles and gases has essential applications in manipulating and using gas,but achieving this function at the microscopic level remains a significant challenge.Here,we report a strategy to self-transport gas in water along a laser-induced open superhydrophobic microchannel with a width less than 100μm.The femtosecond laser can directly write superhydrophobic and underwater superaerophilic microgrooves on the polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)surfaces.In water,the single laser-induced microgroove and water medium generate a hollow microchannel.When the microchannel connects two superhydrophobic regions in water,the gas spontaneously travels from the small region to the large area along this hollow microchannel.Gas self-transportation can be extended to laser-drilled microholes through a thin PTFE sheet,which can even achieve anti-buoyancy unidirectional penetration.The gas can overcome the bubble’s buoyance and spontaneously travel downward.The Laplace pressure difference drives the processes of spontaneous gas transportation and unidirectional bubble passage.We believe the property of gas self-transportation in the femtosecond laser-structured open superhydrophobic and underwater superaerophilic microgrooves/microholes has significant potential applications related to manipulating underwater gas.Jiale Yong Qing Yang Jinglan Huo Xun Hou Feng Chen 2022International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2022,4,1:3
16Effect of a viscoelastic target on the impact response of a flat-nosed projectile显示文摘Taylor impact is a widely used strategy in which a flat-nosed projectile is fired onto a rigid anvil directly to determine the dynamic strength of rod specimens. Nowadays, the rigid anvil is often replaced by an output target bar to ensure the accuracy of measurement via recording strain signals in the output bar. For testing the dynamic strength of low-density materials, a low-impedance target bar, which exhibits viscoelastic characteristics is often employed. In this paper, an extended Taylor model is proposed to improve the idealization of treating the target bar as perfectly rigid material in the classic Taylor model, and the viscoelastic effect of the target bar is incorporated. The viscoelastic target bar is depicted by two elastic springs and one dashpot. Based on the plastic shock wave theory in the flat-nosed projectile associated with the viscoelastic wave analysis in the target bar, the viscoelastic effect of the target bar on the impact response of the flat-nosed projectile is investigated. The finite element simulation is also carried out to verify the theoretical model,and good agreement is found. The present theoretical model is also called the Taylor-cylinder Hopkinson impact, which provides a more accurate way to identify the dynamic material parameters. The dynamic responses of the present model are further compared with previous elastic and rigid target bar models. 18Large deflection of curved elastic beams made of Ludwick type material显示文摘The large deflection of an axially extensible curved beam with a rectangular cross-section is investigated. The elastic beam is assumed to satisfy the Euler-Bernoulli postulation and be made of the Ludwick type material. Through reasonably simplified integration, the strain and curvature of the axis of the beam are presented in implicit formulations. The governing equations involving both geometric and material nonlinearities of the curved beam are derived and solved by the shooting method. When the initial curvature of the beam is zero, the curved beam is degenerated into a straight beam,and the predicted results obtained by the present model are consistent with those in the open literature.
