1Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth syndrome显示文摘Human intestinal microbiota create a complex polymi-crobial ecology. This is characterised by its high population density, wide diversity and complexity of interaction. Any dysbalance of this complex intestinal microbiome, both qualitative and quantitative, might have serious health consequence for a macro-organism, including small intestinal bacterial overgrowth syndrome (SIBO).SIBO is defined as an increase in the number and/or alteration in the type of bacteria in the upper gastro-intestinal tract. There are several endogenous defence mechanisms for preventing bacterial overgrowth: gastric acid secretion, intestinal motility, intact ileo-caecal valve, immunoglobulins within intestinal secretion and bacte-riostatic properties of pancreatic and biliary secretion. Aetiology of SIBO is usually complex, associated with disorders of protective antibacterial mechanisms (e.g. achlorhydria, pancreatic exocrine insuff iciency, immuno-deficiency syndromes), anatomical abnormalities (e.g. small intestinal obstruction, diverticula, f istulae, surgical blind loop, previous ileo-caecal resections) and/or motility disorders (e.g. scleroderma, autonomic neuropathy in diabetes mellitus, post-radiation enteropathy, small intestinal pseudo-obstruction). In some patients more than one factor may be involved. Symptoms related to SIBO are bloating, diarrhoea, malabsorption, weight loss and malnutrition. The gold standard for diagnosing SIBO is still microbial investigation of jejunal aspirates. Noninvasive hydrogen and methane breath tests are most commonly used for the diagnosis of SIBO using glucose or lactulose. Therapy for SIBO must be com-plex, addressing all causes, symptoms and complica-tions, and fully individualised. It should include treatment of the underlying disease, nutritional support and cyclical gastro-intestinal selective antibiotics. 3制备条件对稀土掺杂TiO_2物理性质和光催化降解吡唑草胺性能的影响(英文)显示文摘多相光催化是一种非常有效的降解各种水污染物的方法.本文以稀土(镝和镨)掺杂的TiO2为光催化剂,考察了制备条件对其物理性质和光催化性能的影响.采用溶胶-凝胶法和不同条件(反应温度450,550,650 oC;反应时间4,8,12 h)的固态反应法制备了TiO2样品.运用X射线衍射分析了该样品的晶相,发现只存在锐钛矿相,并得到Raman光谱的证实.同时采用扫描电镜观察了样品的结构和粒径;以BET法计算了其比表面积;运用紫外-可见光漫反射光谱测得了样品的带隙能量.通过测量紫外光照射下常用除草剂吡唑草胺的降解速率评价了样品的光催化活性,反应过程中吡唑草胺的浓度用高效液相色谱分析.结果表明,稀土掺杂使得TiO2吸收边红移,并提高了其光催化活性;制备时最优的固态反应条件为550 oC反应8 h.Marcela Kralova Irina Levchuk Vit Kasparek Mika Sillanpaa Jaroslav Cihlar 2015催化学报2015,36,10:9
4Development of oligonucleotide probes for FISH karyotyping in Haynaldia villosa,a wild relative of common wheat显示文摘Haynaldia villosa is a wild relative of wheat and a valuable gene resource for wheat improvement.Owing to the limited number of probes available for fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH),the resolution at which the karyotype of H.villosa can be characterized is poor,hampering accurate characterization of small segmental alien introgressions.We designed ten oligonucleotide probes using tandem repeats in DNA sequences derived from the short arm of H.villosa chromosome 6 V(6 VS).FISH with seven of them resulted in clear signals on H.villosa chromosomes.Using these,we constructed FISH karyotypes for H.villosa using oligo-6 VS-1 and oligo-6 VS-35 oligonucleotides and characterized the distribution of the two probes in five different H.villosa accessions.The new FISH probes can efficiently characterize H.villosa introgressions into wheat.Jia Lei Jiawen Zhou Haojie Sun Wentao Wan Jin Xiao Chunxia Yuan Miroslava Karafiátová Jaroslav Dolezel Haiyan Wang Xiue Wang 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,4:3
5Epigenetic and non-epigenetic mode of SIRT1 action during oocyte meiosis progression显示文摘Background: SIRT1 histone deacetylase acts on many epigenetic and non-epigenetic targets. It is thought that SIRT1 is involved in oocyte maturation;therefore, the importance of the ooplasmic SIRT1 pool for the further fate of mature oocytes has been strongly suggested. We hypothesised that SIRT1 plays the role of a signalling molecule in mature oocytes through selected epigenetic and non-epigenetic regulation.Results: We observed SIRT1 re-localisation in mature oocytes and its association with spindle microtubules.In mature oocytes, SIRT1 distribution shows a spindle-like pattern, and spindle-specific SIRT1 action decreasesα-tubulin acetylation. Based on the observation of the histone code in immature and mature oocytes, we suggest that SIRT1 is mostly predestined for an epigenetic mode of action in the germinal vesicles(GVs) of immature oocytes. 6Risk factors for carotid plaque progression after optimising the risk factor treatment: substudy results of the Atherosclerotic Plaque Characteristics Associated with a Progression Rate of the Plaque and a Risk of Stroke in Patients with the carotid Bifurcation Plaque Study (ANTIQUE)显示文摘Background and aim Carotid plaque progression contributes to increasing stroke risk.The study aims to identify factors influencing carotid plaque thickness progression after changing the preventive treatment to the‘treating arteries instead of risk factors’strategy,that is,change in treatment depending on the progression of atherosclerosis.Methods The study participants who completed sonographic controls over the course of 3 years were enrolled to the analysis.Duplex sonography of cervical arteries was performed in 6-month intervals with measurement of carotid plaque thickness.Plaque thickness measurement error(σ)was set as 3 SD.Only evidently stable and progressive plaques(defined as plaque thickness difference between initial and final measurements of˂σand>2σ,respectively)were included to analysis.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to identify factors influencing plaque progression.Results A total of 1391 patients(466 males,age 67.2±9.2 years)were enrolled in the study.Progressive plaque in at least one carotid artery was detected in 255(18.3%)patients.Older age,male sex,greater plaque thickness,coronary heart disease,vascular surgery/stenting history and smoking were more frequently present in patients with progressive plaque(p˂0.05 in all cases).Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified only the plaque thickness(OR 1.850 for left side,95%CI 1.398 to 2.449;and OR 1.376 for right side,95%CI 1.070 to 1.770)as an independent factor influencing plaque progression.Conclusion Carotid plaque thickness corresponding to stenosis severity is the only independent risk factor for plaque thickness progression after optimising the prevention treatment.David Školoudik Petra Kešnerova Tomaš Hrbač David Netuka Jaroslav Vomačka Kateřina Langova Roman Herzig Tomaš Belšan 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,2:3
7Mortality of therapeutic fish Garra rufa caused by Aeromonas sobria显示文摘Objective:To investigate a case of mass mortality of Garra rufa(G.rufa)from a fish hatchery farm in Slovakia.Methods:Causative bacterial agent was swabbing out of affected fish skin area and subsequently identified using commercial test system.Antibiotic susceptibility was determined by the disk diffusion method.Results:Infected G.rufa was characterized by abnormal swimming behaviour,bleeding of skin lesions and local haemorrhages.Despite of using recommended aquatic antibiotic treatment no improvement was achieved and Aeromonas sobria{A.sobria)was identified as a causative agent of fish mortality.Due to massive fish mortality,antibiotic susceptibility of pure isolated culture of A.sobria was evaluated employing eight antibiotics against human infections.A.sobria was resistant only against one antibiotic,namely ampicilin.Conclusions:These results indicate that A.sobria can act as a primary pathogen of G.rufa and may be a potential risk factor for immunodeficient or immunoincompetent patients during the ichthyotherapy.Juraj Majtán Jaroslav erny Alena Ofúkaná Peter Taká Milan Kozánek 2012Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012,2,2:3

10基于纤毛鹅观草特异的卫星重复序列开发寡核苷酸探针显示文摘[目的]本文旨在开发纤毛鹅观草特异的寡核苷酸(oligonucleotide,oligo)探针,进一步完善纤毛鹅观草染色体鉴定技术。[方法]利用前期选育的普通小麦-纤毛鹅观草异附加系DA2S^(c)L和DA6S^(c),通过流式分拣和基因组二代测序获得纤毛鹅观草染色体6S^(c)和染色体臂2S^(c)长臂的基因组序列,利用Repeatexplorer2/TAREAN软件从中鉴定出卫星重复序列并设计成oligo探针,通过荧光原位杂交(fluorescence in situ hybridization,FISH)分析所开发oligo探针的应用价值。[结果]从6S^(c)和2S^(c)L基因组序列中共鉴定出11个卫星重复序列并开发成11个oligo探针,oligo-FISH结果表明,其中6个探针可以在纤毛鹅观草染色体上产生明显杂交信号,而在小麦染色体上未产生明显杂交信号,可用于特异鉴定小麦背景中的纤毛鹅观草染色体或片段。对1套普通小麦-纤毛鹅观草异附加系oligo-FISH分析发现,oligo-2S^(c)L^(-1)63和oligo-6S^(c)-111仅在S^(c)基因组染色体上产生明显信号,可作为纤毛鹅观草S^(c)组特异探针;将oligo-2S^(c)L-161和oligo-2S^(c)L-163组合,对1整套二体异附加系进行双色oligo-FISH,构建了纤毛鹅观草染色体的oligo-FISH核型。[结论]本研究提供了纤毛鹅观草重复序列组成的初步信息,开发的探针能特异鉴定纤毛鹅观草染色体,阐明纤毛鹅观草2个基因组的来源和分化,对推动纤毛鹅观草优异基因的转移和利用有重要意义。程梦豪 Miroslava Karafiatova 孙昊杰 Kate Arina Holušva Jaroslav Dolezel 宋新颖 王海燕 王秀娥 2022南京农业大学学报2022,45,3:2
