| 3 | Channel Adaptive Shortest Path Routing for Ad Hoc Networks显示文摘Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a challenge owing to the dynamic nature of network topology and the resource constraints. To maximize the channel resource utilization and minimize the network transfer delay along the path, the shortest path with the minimum hops approach is often adopted. However, the quality of wireless channels among the mobile nodes is time varying owing to fading, shadowing and path loss. Considering adaptive channel coding and modulation scheme, the channel state can be characterized by different link throughputs. If routing selection based on the link throughput is implemented, the minimum transfer delay from source to destination and the maximal throughput may be obtained. In this paper, a Channel Adaptive Shortest Path Routing (CASPR) is presented. Based on the adaptive channel coding and modulation, the CASPR transforms the link throughput into the channel quality factor Q and finds the shortest routing according to the Q measure. | 4 | EXIT analysis of M-algorithm based MIMO detectors and LDPC code design optimization显示文摘This paper investigates joint design and optimization of both low density parity check (LDPC) codes and M-algorithm based detectors including iterative tree search (ITS) and soft-output M-algorithm (SOMA) in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems via the tool of extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) charts. First, we present EXIT analysis for ITS and SOMA. We indicate that the extrinsic information transfer curves of ITS obtained by Monte Carlo simulations based on output log-likelihood rations are not true EXIT curves, and the explanation for such a phenomenon is given, while for SOMA, the true EXIT curves can be computed, enabling the code design. Then, we propose a new design rule and method for LDPC code degree profile optimization in MIMO systems. The algorithm can make the EXIT curves of the inner decoder and outer decoder match each other properly, and can easily attain the desired code with the target rate. Also, it can transform the optimization problem into a linear one, which is computationally simple. | 5 | An Analysis of Interchannel Interference of OFDM Systems in Time-Varying Channel显示文摘In this paper the Inter-Channel-Interference (ICI) caused by Doppler spread is analyzed in the discrete form for an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. By theoretic derivation it is verified that the ICI power of the flat channel is the same as that of the time dispersive channel with the assumption that the flat channel is a normalized Wide-Sense Stationary (WSS) stochastic process and the time dispersive channel is a normalized Wide-Sense Stationary and Uncorrelatd-Scatting (WSS-US) stochastic process. | 6 | Stress responsive gene CIPK14 is involved in phytochrome A-mediated far-red light inhibition of greening in Arabidopsis显示文摘In this study, we show that CIPK14,a stress responsive CBL-interacting protein kinase gene,is involved in phytochrome A-mediated far-red light inhibition of greening in Arabidopsis seedlings. The CIPK14-impairment mutant cipk14 grown in continuous far-red (FR) light did not show greening when exposed to white light illumination for 15 h. By contrast, the FR-grown phytochrome A null mutant phyA greened within 0.5 h of exposure to white light. Although greening of Col-4 (wild-type) was not completely abolished by FR, it exhibited a significantly decreased greening capacity compared with that of phyA. Further analyses demonstrated that the expression of protochlorophyllide reductase (POR) genes was correlated with the greening ability of the genotypes. In addition, CIPK14 appeared to be regulated by both the circadian clock and PhyA. | 11 | Novel Link Adaptation Schemes for OFDM System显示文摘Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is the most promising technique supporting the high data rate transmission. The combination of the link adaptation and OFDM can further increase the spectral efficiency. In this paper, we put forward two link adaptation schemes for OFDM system which have the advantages of both flexibility and practicability. Both of the two novel link adaptation schemes are based on the iterative mechanism to allocate the bit and power to subcarriers according to their channel gains and noisy levels which are assumed to be already known at the transmitter. The candidate modulation modes are determined freely before the link adaptation schemes are performed. The distinction between the two novel link adaptation schemes is that in the novel scheme A, the modulation mode is upgraded to the neighboring higher order mode, while in the novel scheme B the modulation is upgraded to the genuine optimal mode. | 12 | An Improved Maximum C/I Scheduling Algorithm Combined with HARQ显示文摘It is well known that traffic in downlink will be much greater than that in uplink in 3 G and that beyond. High Speed Downlink Packet Access( HSDPA ) is the solution to transmission for high speed downlink packet service in UMTS , of which Maximum C/I scheduling is one of the important algorithms related to performance enhancement. An improved scheme, Thorough Maximum C/I scheduling algorithm, is presented in this article, in which every transmitted frame has the maximum C/I .
