1Catalytic combustion of VOCs on Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY honeycomb monolithic catalysts显示文摘The metal oxides CuMnCe and CeY washcoats on cordierite were prepared using an impregnation method, and then used as support for the active Pt component to prepare the Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY monolithic catalysts for the deep oxidation of VOCs. In comparison with the Pt/CeY, CuMnCe, and CeY monolithic catalysts, the Pt/CuMnCe monolithic catalyst shows an excellent performance for toluene,ethyl acetate,and n-hexane oxidation and the T_(90%) is low to 216, 200 and 260 ℃,respectively. 3Impacts of variable message signs on traffic congestion显示文摘The variable message signs (VMS) have been widely used in guiding and managing the dynamic traffic with development of intelligent transportation technologies. It is known that cell transmission model (CTM) can well reproduce such traffic dynamics as shock waves and jams. This paper presents a new method to estimate the route travel times by using the CTM in conjunction with a logit-based route choice rule. The impacts of VMS on a two-route scenario with recurrent and non-recurrent traffic congestion are numerically investigated by analyzing the changes of route flow and travel time. Simulation results show that in networks with suitable long links, the VMS can positively influence travelers' decision making so as to improve the system performance. 4Lignin biosynthesis by suppression of two O-methyl-transferases显示文摘Caffeic acid O-methyltransferase (COMT) and caffeoyl-CoA-3-O-methyltransferase (CCoAOMT) genes encode two methyltransferases at different substrate levels in lignin biosynthesis. We constructed two single antisense expression vectors containing the cDNA of COMT or CCoAOMT genes and one dual antisense expression vector containing cDNAs of both OMTs genes. The antisense constructs were transferred into tobacco mediated by Agrobac-terium tumefacience. PCR-Southern analysis indicated that antisense cDNAs had been integrated into the genome of the transgenic tobacco. The antisense genes were also expressed at transcriptional level displayed by Northern dot analysis. Klason lignin assay of 3-month-old transgenic tobaccos showed that repression in COMT or CCoAOMT alone could result in reduction of lignin content, more reduction was caused by suppression in CCoAOMT than in COMT. 5Comparative Study of Trajectory Tracking Control for Automated Vehicles via Model Predictive Control and Robust H-infinity State Feedback Control显示文摘A comparative study of model predictive control(MPC)schemes and robust Hstate feedback control(RSC)method for trajectory tracking is proposed in this paper.The main objective of this paper is to compare MPC and RSC controllers’performance in tracking predefined trajectory under different scenarios.MPC controller is designed based on the simple longitudinal-yaw-lateral motions of a single-track vehicle with a linear tire,which is an approximation of the more realistic model of a vehicle with double-track motion with a non-linear tire mode.RSC is designed on the basis of the same method as adopted for the MPC controller to achieve a fair comparison.Then,three test cases are built in CarSim-Simulink joint platform.Specifically,the verification test is used to test the tracking accuracy of MPC and RSC controller under well road conditions.Besides,the double lane change test with low road adhesion is designed to find the maximum velocity that both controllers can carry out while guaranteeing stability.Furthermore,an extreme curve test is built where the road adhesion changes suddenly,in order to test the performance of both controllers under extreme conditions.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of MPC and RSC under different scenarios are also discussed.Kai Yang Xiaolin Tang Yechen Qin Yanjun Huang Hong Wang Huayan Pu 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,4:6

8Expressing PHB synthetic genes through chloroplast genetic engineering显示文摘Chloroplast integration and expression vector containing expression cassettes for phbB, phbA, phbC and aadA genes was constructed and bombarded into the tobacco chloroplast genome. Transplastomic plants were analyzed with PCR and Southern blot. Their homoplastomy was also judged. Northern dot and RT-PCR analysis were employed to investigate transgene expression at transcriptional level. 9A new cellular automaton model for traffic flow considering realistic turn signal effect显示文摘In real traffic,any vehicle must give lane-changing signal(i.e.the turn signal) before changing lanes;at this time,the vehicles behind the lane-changing vehicle will be hindered and may form 'plugs' due to the turn signal effect.However,few studies focus on exploring the effect.In this paper,the turn signal effect was taken into account by proposing a new symmetric two-lane cellular automaton(T-STCA) model,and the new model was set to compare with the STCA,H-STCA and A-STCA models.Numerical results show that using the T-STCA model to describe lane-changing or overtaking,the process appeared in several consecutive time steps;while using the other three models,the process appeared only in one time step.In addition,the T-STCA model could describe the mixed traffic flow more realistically and the turn signal effect could help the plugs to dissolve more quickly.SHANG HuaYan PENG Yu 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,6:3
10A Three-Dimensional Dynamic Constitutive Model and Its Finite Element Implementation for NiTi Alloy Based on Irreversible Thermodynamics显示文摘In the present work, the governing equations based on theory of irreversible thermodynamics is deduced by introducing two internal variables to characterize the phase transformation and finite plastic deformation evolution for NiTi shape memory alloy. Thus a three-dimensional dynamic constitutive model is established by summarizing the governing equations for phase transformation and plastic deformation under high strain rate loading conditions. By adopting a stress compensation algorithm to update the stress tensor, the phenomenologicalbased constitutive model is embedded into ABAQUS finite element software as user material subroutine with FORTRAN code. Thus the numerical simulation of dynamic responses of NiTi alloy is successfully implemented. The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data, validating the feasibility of this proposed model. 18Hydrothermal-treated Pt/Al_(2)O_(3) as an excellent catalyst for toluene total oxidation显示文摘The preparation of highly active supported noble metal catalysts with a low noble metal loading has always been the ultimate goal of researchers working on catalysis.Hydrothermally treated Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)(Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-H)exhibits better catalytic activity than that(Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-C)treated via the conventional calcination approach.At the high space velocity of100,000 m L/(g·hr),the temperature that correspond to 50%toluene conversion(T50)of Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-H is 115℃ lower than that of Pt/Al_(2)O_(3)-C,and the turnover frequency(TOF)value can reach 0.0756 sec-1.The mechanism by which the hydrothermal approach enhances Pt/Al_(2)O_(3) activity has been investigated.The structure associated with the high catalytic activity of Pt nanoparticles(NPs)can be retained via hydrothermal treatment.Furthermore,the support is transformed to AlO(OH)with numerous surface hydroxyl groups,which in turn can facilitate the adsorption of toluene.And the synergistic effects of Pt NPs and AlO(OH)increases the contents of Pt in oxidation state and active oxygen,which are beneficial for toluene oxidation.Xiao Chen Yong Wang Jianyu Li Zhongheng Hu Ying Zhou Huayan Liu Hanfeng Lu 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,6:1
19SALL4 maintains self-renewal of porcine pluripotent stem cells through downregulation of OTX2显示文摘Sall4 as one of the spalt family members contains several alternative splicing variants, which are differentially expressed and has a key role in maintaining pluripotent stem cells. However, the molecular features and function of SALL4 have not been well elucidated in porcine induced pluripotent stem cells(piPSCs). In this study, we identi?ed SALL4 splice variants and found two SALL4 splicing variants through analysis of the porcine transcriptome data derived from piPSCs. SALL4 A was only detected in piPSCs but SALL4 B was globally expressed in porcine tissues and piPSCs. The level of SALL4 B was signi?cantly reduced when piPSCs differentiation occurred, however, the expression of SALL4 A was not affected, indicating that SALL4 B may be essential for the maintenance of piPSCs self-renewal. Overexpression of SALL4 A and SALL4 B in PEF cells could signi?cantly stimulated expression of endogenous pluripotent genes,when SALL4 B signi?cantly promoted OCT4 expression.Conversely, SALL4 A signi?cantly promoted KLF4 expression. Additionally, both SALL4 A and SALL4 B could repress OTX2 promoter activity in a dose-dependent manner. Conversely, OTX2 also negatively regulated SALL4 expression.
