| 1 | Clinical analysis of primary small intestinal disease:A report of 309 cases显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the major clinical symptom, etiology, and diagnostic method in patients with primary small intestinal disease in order to improve the diagnosis.METHODS: A total of 309 cases with primary small intestinal disease were reviewed, and the major clinical symptoms,etiology, and diagnostic methods were analyzed.RESULTS: The major clinical symptoms included abdominal pain (71%), abdominal mass (14%), vomiting (10%),melaena (10%), and fever (9%). The most common disease were malignant tumor (40%). diverticulum (32%) and benign tumor (10%). Duodenal disease was involved in 36% of the patients with primary small intestinal diseases. The diagnostic rate for primary small intestinal diseases by double-contrast enteroclysis was 85.6%.CONCLUSION: Abdominal pain is the most common clinical symptom in patients with primary small intestinal disease.Malignant tumors are the most common diseases. Duodenum was the most common part involved in small intestine.Double-contrast enteroclysis was still the simplest and the most available examination method in diagnosis of primary small intestinal disease. | 2 | Undifferentiated (embryonal) sarcoma of liver in adult: A case report显示文摘We report a case of undifferentiated (embryonal)sarcoma of the liver (UESL), which showed cystic formation in a 20-year-old man with no prior history of any hepatitis or liver cirrhosis. He was admitted with abdominal pain and a palpable epigastric mass. The physical examination findings were unremarkable except for a tenderness mass and the results of routine laboratory studies were all within normal limits. Abdominal ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) both showed a cystic mass in the left hepatic lobe. Subsequently, the patient underwent a tumor excision and another two times of hepatectomy because of tumor recurrence.Immunohistochemical study results showed that the tumor cells were positive for vimentin, alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (AACT) and desmin staining, and negative for alphafetoprotein (AFP), and eosinophilic hyaline globules in the cytoplasm of some giant cells were strongly positive for periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining. The pathological diagnosis was UESL. | 3 | Current developments in drug delivery with thermosensitive liposomes显示文摘Thermosensitive liposomes(TSLs) have been an important research area in the field of tumor targeted chemotherapy. Since the first TSLs appeared that using 1,2-dipalmitoyl-snglyce-ro-3-phosphocholine(DPPC) as the primary liposomal lipid, many studies have been done using this type of liposome from basic and practical aspects. While TSLs composed of DPPC enhance the cargo release near the phase transition temperature, it has been shown that many factors affect their temperature sensitivity. Thus numerous attempts have been undertaken to develop new TSLs for improving their thermal response performance. The main objective of this review is to introduce the development and recent update of innovative TSLs formulations, including combination of radiofrequency ablation(RFA), highintensity focused ultrasound(HIFU), magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and alternating magnetic field(AMF). | 4 | Monitoring paddy rice phenology using time series MODIS data over Jiangxi Province,China显示文摘Paddy rice is one of the most important crops in the world.Accurate estimation and monitoring of paddy rice phenology is necessary for management and yield prediction.Remotely sensed time-series data are essential for estimation of crop phenology stages across large areas.Here,the paddy rice phenological stages(i.e.,transplanting,tillering,heading,and harvesting)were detected in Jiangxi Province,China.A comparison study was conducted using ground observation data from 10 agricultural meteorological stations,collected between 2006 and 2008.The phenological stages were detected using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)time-series enhanced vegetation index(EVI)data.Savitzky-Golay filter and wavelet transform were used to reduce the noise in the time-series EVI data and reconstruct the smoothed EVI time-series profile.Key phenological stages of double-cropping rice were detected using the characteristics of the smoothed EVI profile.The root mean square errors(RMSEs)for each stage were ±10 days around the ground observation data.The results suggest that Savitzky-Golay filter and wavelet transform are promising approaches for reconstructing high-quality EVI time-series data.Moreover,the phenological stages of double-cropping rice could be detected using time-series MODIS EVI data smoothed by Savitzky-Golay filter and wavelet transform. | Li Shihua Xiao Jiangtao Ni Ping Zhang Jing Wang Hongshu Wang Jingxian | 2014 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,6: | 3 |

| 12 | Information Detection of Seismic Debris Flow by UAV High-resolution Image Based on Transfer Learning显示文摘A large number of debris flow disasters(called Seismic debris flows) would occur after an earthquake, which can cause a great amount of damage. UAV low-altitude remote sensing technology has become a means of quickly obtaining disaster information as it has the advantage of convenience and timeliness, but the spectral information of the image is so scarce, making it difficult to accurately detect the information of earthquake debris flow disasters. Based on the above problems, a seismic debris flow detection method based on transfer learning(TL) mechanism is proposed. On the basis of the constructed seismic debris flow disaster database, the features acquired from the training of the convolutional neural network(CNN) are transferred to the disaster information detection of the seismic debris flow.
