Technical framework for Internetware: An architecture centric approach显示文摘Being a new software paradigm evolved by the Internet, Internetware brings many challenges to the traditional software methods and techniques. Sponsored by the national basic research program (973), researchers in China have developed an architecture centric technical framework for the definition, incarnation and engineering of Internetware. First of all, a software model for Internetware is defined for what to be, including that Internetware entities should be packaged as components, behaving as agents, interoperating as services, collaborating in a structured and on demand manner, etc. Secondly, a middleware for Internetware is designed and implemented for how to be, including that Internetware entities are incarnated by runtime containers, structured collaborations are enabled by runtime software architecture, Internetware can be managed in a reflective and autonomic manner, etc. Thirdly, an engineering methodology for Internetware is proposed for how to do, including the way to develop Internetware entities and their collaborations by transforming and refining a set of software architectures which cover all the phases of software lifecycle, the way to identify and organize the disordered software assets by domain modeling, etc.YANG FuQing1,2, Lü Jian3,4 & MEI Hong1,2 1 Key Laboratory of High Confidence Software Technologies (Peking University), Ministry of Education, Beijing 100871, China 2 School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University, Beijing 100871, China 3 State Key Laboratory for Novel Software Technology, Nanjing 210093, China 4 Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210093, China 2008Science in China(Series F)2008,51,6:33
Direct numerical simulation of shock/turbulent boundary layer interaction in a supersonic compression ramp显示文摘A direct numerical simulation of the shock/turbulent boundary layer interaction flow in a supersonic 24-degree compression ramp is conducted with the free stream Mach number 2.9.The blow-and-suction disturbance in the upstream wall boundary is used to trigger the transition. Both the mean wall pressure and the velocity profiles agree with those of the experimental data, which validates the simulation. The turbulent kinetic energy budget in the separation region is analyzed. Results show that the turbulent production term increases fast in the separation region, while the turbulent dissipation term reaches its peak in the near-wall region. The turbulent transport term contributes to the balance of the turbulent conduction and turbulent dissipation.Based on the analysis of instantaneous pressure in the downstream region of the mean shock and that in the separation bubble, the authors suggest that the low frequency oscillation of the shock is not caused by the upstream turbulent disturbance, but rather the instability of separation bubble.LI XinLiang1,FU DeXun2,MA YanWen2 & LIANG Xian1 1 Key Laboratory of High Temperature Gas Dynamics,Institute of Mechanics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100190,China 2 The State Key Laboratory of Nonlinear Mechanics,Institute of Mechanics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100190,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,9:24
A software architecture centric self-adaptation approach for Internetware显示文摘Being one of the basic features of Internetware, self-adaptation means that the software system can monitor its runtime state and behavior and adjust them when necessary according to pre-defined policies. Focusing on the three fundamental issues of self-adaptation, including the scope, operability and trustworthiness, a software architecture (SA) centric approach for Internetware's self-adaptation is presented in this paper. All of the self-adaptive actions, i.e. monitoring, analyzing, planning and executing, are performed based on SA. In detail, runtime state and behavior of Internetware are represented and changed in the form of runtime software architecture. The knowledge for self-adaptation is captured, organized and reasoned in the form of SA so that automatic analysis and decision-making are achieved.MEI Hong1,2, HUANG Gang1,2, LAN Ling1,2 & LI JunGuo1,2 1 Key Laboratory of High Confidence Software Technologies (Peking University), Ministry of Education, Beijing 100871, China 2 School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University, Beijing 100871, China 2008Science in China(Series F)2008,51,6:19

Quantum secret sharing between multiparty and multiparty with Bell states and Bell measurements显示文摘We present a quantum secret sharing scheme between multiparty (m members in Group 1) and multiparty (n members in Group 2), and analyze its security. This scheme takes EPR pairs in Bell states as quantum resources. In order to obtain the shared key, all members only need to perform Bell measurements, rather than perform any local unitary operation. The total efficiency in this scheme approaches 100% as the classical information exchanged is not necessary except for the eavesdropping checks.SHI RunHua 1,2* , HUANG LiuSheng 1,3 , YANG Wei 1,3 & ZHONG Hong 2 1 National High Performance Computing Center at Hefei, Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, 230027, China 2 School of Computer Science and Technology, Anhui University, Hefei 230039, China 3 Suzhou Institute for Advanced Study, USTC, Suzhou 215123, China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,12:17
Formation of complexes of Rubisco-Rubisco activase from La^3+, Ce^3+ treatment spinach显示文摘The complex of Rubisco and Rubisco activase from LaCl3-, CeCl3- treated spinach in vivo is induced. SDS-PAGE result shows that the purified proteins from LaCl3-, CeCl3- treated spinach have not only large and small subunits (55 kD, 14.4 kD) of Rubisco, but also two large subunits of 45 kD and 41 kD near the large subunits of Rubisco. Native-PAGE shows that the purified proteins from LaCl3-, CeCl3- treated spinach have not only a band of Rubisco (560 kD), but also a band of about 1100 kD, about twice distant from Rubisco, which might be a complex of Rubisco and Rubisco activase. The purified enzyme activities from LaCl3-, CeCl3-treated spinach are 1.8 and 2.8 times that of the control, the intensities of absorption and fluorescence are sig- nificantly higher than that of the purified Rubisco from the control, and the total sulfhydryl groups and available sulfhydryl groups are 36—39 –SH per mol enzyme, 14—25 –SH per mol enzyme more than those of the purified Rubisco from the control, respectively. The CD spectra show that the secondary structure of the purified enzyme from LaCl3-, CeCl3 -treated spinach is very dif- ferent from the control. The enzyme activities from LaCl3-, CeCl3- treated spinach in vivo are 1.5 and 1.9 times those of the control.HONG Fashui1, LIU Chao1, ZHENG Lei1, WANG Xuefeng1, WU Kang1, SONG Weiping1, Lü Shipeng1, TAO Ye2 & ZHAO Guiwen3 1. 7Zircon and apatite fission track analyses on mineralization ages and tectonic activities of Tuwu-Yandong porphyry copper deposit in northern Xinjiang, China显示文摘The mineralization ages reported in the past in the Tuwu-Yandong copper district not only are different, but also fall into the Hercynian epoch. This study has achieved 9 zircon and 7 apatite fission track analysis results. The zircon fission track ages range from 158 Ma to 289 Ma and the apatite ages are between 64 Ma and 140 Ma.The mineralization accords with the regional tectonics in the copper district. We consider that the zircon fission track age could reveal the mineralization age based on annealing zone temperature of 140―300℃ and retention temperature of ~250℃ for zircon fission track, and metallogenetic temperature of 120―350℃ in this ore district.Total three mineralization epochs have been identified,i.e.,289―276 Ma,232―200 Ma and 165―158 Ma,and indicate occurrence of the min-eralization in the Indosinian and Yanshan epochs.Corresponding to apatite fission track ages, the three tectonic-mineralizing epochs are 140―132 Ma,109―97 Ma and 64 Ma,which means age at about 100℃ after the mineralization. The three epochs lasted 146 Ma,108 Ma and about 100 Ma from ~250℃ to ~100℃ and trend decrease from early to late.It is shown by the fission track modeling that this district underwent three stages of geological thermal histories, stable in Cretaceous and cooling both before Cretaceous and after 20 Ma.YUAN WanMing1,BAO ZengKuan2,DONG JinQuan2,GUO ZhaoJie3 & DENG Jun1 1 State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources,China University of Geosciences,Beijing100083,China 2 Laboratory of Nuclear Analysis Techniques,Institute of High Energy Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100039,China 3 Department of Geology,Peking University,Beijing 100871,China 2007Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,12:16
DISLOCATION DISSOCIATIONS AND FAULTENERGIES IN Ni_3Al ALLOYS DOPED WITH PALLADIUM显示文摘Dislocation structures in polycrystalline Ni 3Al alloy doped with palladium deformed at room temperature have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. The structure consists mainly of dislocations dissociated into a /2〈011〉 super partials bounding an anti phase boundary (APB). Dislocations dissociated into a /3〈112〉 super Shockley partials bounding a superlattice intrinsic stacking fault (SISF) are also common debris. The majority of the SISFs are truncated loops, i.e. the partials bounding the SISF are of similar Burgers vector. These faulted loops are generated from APB coupled dislocations, according to a mechanism for formation of SISFs proposed by Suzuki et al , and recently modified by Chiba et al . The APB energies for {111} and {010} slip planes are measured to be 144±20 mJ/m 2 and 102±11 mJ/m 2 respectively, and the SISF energy has been estimated to be 12 mJ/m 2 in this alloy. It is concluded that the dislocation structure in Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 alloy deformed at room temperature is similar to that in binary Ni 3Al, and the difference in fault energies between these two alloys is small. Thus, it seems unlikely that the enhancement of ductility of Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 results from only such a small decrease of the ordering energy of the alloy. SISF bounding dislocations also have no apparent influence on the ductilization of Ni 74.5 Pd 2Al 23.5 alloy.J. Sun *# , C. S. Lee # and J. K. L. 9Experimental demonstration of a new concept of drag reduction and thermal protection for hypersonic vehicles显示文摘A new idea of drag reduction and thermalprotection for hypersonic vehicles is proposed based on thecombination of a physical spike and lateral jets for shock-reconstruction. The spike recasts the bow shock in front ofa blunt body into a conical shock, and the lateral jets workto protect the spike tip from overheating and to push theconical shock away from the blunt body when a pitchingangle exists during flight. Experiments are conducted in ahypersonic wind tunnel at a nominal Mach number of 6. Itis demonstrated that the shock/shock interaction on the bluntbody is avoided due to injection and the peak pressure atthe reattachment point is reduced by 70% under a 4°attackangle.Zonglin Jiang Yunfeng Liu Guilai Han Wei Zhao Key Laboratory of High Temperature Gas Dynamics, Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 100190 Beijing, China 2009Acta Mechanica Sinica2009,25,3:14
An effective and practical method for solving an unnegligible problem inherent in the current calculation model for multi-support seismic analysis of structures显示文摘In the seismic analysis of extended structures subject to spatially varying motions, the displacement input model instead of acceleration model is usually adopted for accurate results. In this paper, a more detailed and comprehensive analysis of the displacement input model is carried out and the research shows that there exists an unnegligible problem in the current displacement model, which leads to the irrationality and unconvergence of some calculated results such as base shear etc. Based on the situation, an effective method named massless rigid element (MRE) method is presented to solve the problem. Moreover, the rationality and accuracy of the method are further assessed and the method is applied to a transmission tower-line system project using the commercially available structural analysis software SAP2000. The theoretical and numerical analyses indicate that the MRE approach is not only feasible with sufficient computational accuracy but also practical and can be easily implemented using the commercially available finite element software such as SAP2000.LIU GuoHuan2, GUO Wei1 & LI HongNan2 1 National Engineering Laboratory for High Speed Railway Construction, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Central South University, Changsha 410075, China 2 Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian 116024, China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,7:12
Primary scientific results of Chang'E-1 lunar mission显示文摘The strategic plan for the development of the unmanned Chinese Lunar Exploration Program is characterized by three distinct stages: 'orbiting around', 'landing on' and 'returning from' the Moon. The first Chinese lunar probe, Chang'E-1, which was successfully launched on October 24th, 2007 at Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and guided to crash on the Moon on March 1st, 2009, at 52.36°E, 1.50°S, in the north of Mare Fecunditatis, is the first step towards the 'orbiting around' stage. The Chang'E-1 mission lasted 495 days, exceeding the expected life-span by about four months. A total of 1.37 TB raw data was received from Chang'E-1. It was then processed into 4 TB scientific data products at various levels. Many scientific results have been obtained by analyzing these data, including especially the 'global lunar image from the first Chinese lunar explora- tion mission'. All scientific goals of Chang'E-1 have been achieved. It provides much useful materials for further advances of lunar sciences and planetary chemistry. Meanwhile, these results will serve as a firm basis for future Chinese lunar missions.OUYANG ZiYuan1,2, LI ChunLai1, ZOU YongLiao1, ZHANG HongBo1, Lü Chang1, LIU JianZhong1, LIU JianJun1, ZUO Wei1, SU Yan1, WEN WeiBin1, BIAN Wei1, ZHAO BaoChang3, WANG JianYu4, YANG JianFeng3, CHANG Jin5, WANG HuanYu6, ZHANG XiaoHui7, WANG ShiJin7, WANG Min1, REN Xin1, MU LingLi1, KONG DeQing1, WANG XiaoQian1, WANG Fang1, GENG Liang1, ZHANG ZhouBin1, ZHENG Lei1, ZHU XinYing1, ZHENG YongChun1, LI JunDuo1, ZOU XiaoDuan1, XU Chun1, SHI ShuoBiao1, GAO YiFei1 & GAO GuanNan1 1 National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100012, China 2 Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang 550002, China 3 Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an 710119, China 4 Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai 200083, China 5 Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing 210008, China 6 Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100049, China 7 Center for Space Science and Applied Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100190, China 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,11:11
EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION AND THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION ON PHASE PRECIPITATION OF INCONEL 740显示文摘A novel nickel-based superalloy INCONEL 740 was under development for application in ultra-supercritical superheater tubers above 750℃. The precipitation behaviors of η phase and γ’ particles of the alloy were investigated through experimental study and phase computation. Experimental results showed that η phase formed a Widmanst?tten pattern structure following long-term exposure at elevated temperatures and that the coarsening of γ’ particle follows a cube rate law:r-3 ∝ t. Thermodynamic calculation results showed that Al and Ti had an important effect on the precipitation behavior of γ’ andη phases. Two suggested novel modified alloys, wherein the Al and Ti contents were modified, were designed and melted for the experimental study. The preliminary results indicated that the modified alloys exhibited higher structural stability following long-term exposure at 750℃ till 5000h.S.Q. 13EXAFS study on arsenic species and transformation in arsenic hyperaccumulator显示文摘Synchrotron radiation extended X-ray absorption fine structure (SR EXAFS) was employed to study the transformation of coordination environment and the redox speciation of arsenic in a newly discovered arsenic hyperaccumulator, Cretan brake (Pteris cretica L. var ner-vosa Thunb). It showed that the arsenic in the plant mainly coordinated with oxygen, except that some arsenic coordinated with S as As-GSH in root. The complexation of arsenic with GSH might not be the predominant detoxification mechanism in Cretan brake. Although some arsenic in root presented as As(V) in Na2HAsO4 treatments, most of arsenic in plant presented as As(III)-O in both treatments, indicating that As(V) tended to be reduced to As(III) after it was taken up into the root, and arsenic was kept as As(III) when it was transported to the above-ground tissues. The reduction of As(V) primarily proceeded in the root.HUANG Zechun1, CHEN Tongbin1, LEI Mei1, HU Tiandou2 & HUANG Qifei1 1. 16THREE-DIMENSIONAL TURBULENCE NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF A STEPPED SPILLWAY OVERFLOW显示文摘In this paper, the k ε turbulence model is used to simulate the three dimensional turbulence flow over the stepped spillway at the Yubeishan reservoir. In order to solve the curved free water surface and to handle the complex boundary conditions, the fractional Volume Of Fluid (VOF) model that is applicable to the solution of the stratified two phase flow is introduced along with k ε turbulence model and the unstructured grid is used for the discretization of the irregular simulation domain. By these methods, the turbulence flow field of the stepped spillway is simulated successfully. The location of the free surface along the spillway, the magnitude and distribution of the velocity, the pressure on the step surface, the turbulence kinetic energy and turbulence dissipation rate are obtained by simulation. The changes and distributions of these characteristics along the width of the spillway are also obtained. 17Inconsistency between WMAP data and released map显示文摘A remarkable inconsistency between the calibrated differential time-ordered data (TOD) of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) mission, which is the input for map-making,and the cosmic microwave background (CMB) temperature maps published by the WMAP team is revealed, indicating that there must exist a serious problem in the map making routine of the WMAP team. This inconsistency is easy to be confirmed without the use of WMAP map-making software. In view of the importance of this issue for cosmology study,we invite readers to check it by themselves.LIU Hao1 & LI TiPei1,2,3 1 Key Laboratory of Particle Astrophysics,Institute of High Energy Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100049,China 2 Department of Physics & Center for Astrophysics,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China 3 Department of Engineering Physics & Center for Astrophysics,Tsinghua University,Beijing 100084,China 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10:9
Solidification Simulation of Investment Castings of Single Crystal Hollow Turbine Blade显示文摘The three-dimensional solidification simulation of the investment castings of single crystal hollow turbine blade at the withdrawal rates of 2 mm/min, 4.5 mm/min and 7 mm/min has been performed with the finite element thermal analysis. The calculated results are in accordance with the experimental ones. The results show that with the increase of withdrawal rate the concave curvature of the liquidus isotherm is larger and larger, and the temperature gradients of the blades increase. No effects of withdrawal rate on the distribution of the temperature gradients of the starter and helical grain selector of the blades are observed at withdrawal rates of 2 mm/min, 4.5 mm/min and 7 mm/min. The relatively high temperature gradient between 500℃/cm and 1000℃/cm in the starter and helical grain selector is obtained at three withdrawal rates.Jiarong LI, Shizhong LIU, Hailong YUAN and Zhengang ZHONGNational Key Laboratory of Advanced High Temperature Structural Materials, Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials, Beijing 100095, China 2003Journal of Materials Science & Technology2003,19,6:9

Status of study on biological and toxicological effects of nanoscale materials显示文摘Because the physical and chemical properties of nanosized materials mostly differ from the existing microsized materials, their potential impacts on human health and the envi-ronment will be topics under the serious discussions in press and in a number of international scientific journals. We analyze and summarize the existing data of the experimental study on the biological activities and adverse effects of nanoscale materials/particles including single wall carbon nanotubes, multi wall carbon nanotubes, titanium oxide and iron powders. Though some biological behaviors of nanoscale materials observed cannot be understood on the basis of the current knowledge, as the existing data are mostly preliminary, it is too early to make some ex-clusive conclusions on biological activities (or the toxicity) of any of nanoscale materials. The experimental techniques, the current topics, and the future research directions for this new re-search field are also discussed.WANG Bing1, FENG Weiyue1, ZHAO Yuliang1, XING Gengmei1, CHAI Zhifang1, WANG Haifang2 & JIA Guang3 1.
