| 1 | Using Impervious Surfaces to Detect Urban Expansion in Beijing of China in 2000s显示文摘The change of impervious surface area(ISA) can effectively reveal the gradual process of urbanization and act as a key index for monitoring urban expansion. Experiencing rapid growth of the built environment in the 2000 s, urban expansion of Beijing has not been fully characterized through ISA. In this study, Landsat TM images of Beijing in 2001 and 2009 were obtained, and the eight-year urban expansion process in Beijing was analyzed using the ISA extracted by means of the vegetation-imperious surface-soil(V-I-S) model. From the spatial variation in ISA, the ring structure of urban expansion in Beijing was significant during the study period, with decreasing urban density from the city center to the periphery. In the ring road analysis, the most dramatic changes of ISA were found between the fifth ring and the sixth ring. This area has experienced the most new residential development, and is currently the main source of urban expansion. The typical profile lines revealed the directional characteristics of urban expansion. The east-west profile was the most urbanized axes in Beijing, while ISA change in the east-north profile was more significant than in the other five profiles. Moreover, the transition matrix of ISA levels revealed an increase in urban density in the low density built areas; the Moran′s I index showed a clear expansion of the central urban area, which spread contiguously; and the standard deviational ellipse indicated the northeast was the dominant direction of urban expansion. | 3 | A soft actor-critic deep reinforcement learning method for multi-timescale coordinated operation of microgrids显示文摘This paper develops a multi-timescale coordinated operation method for microgrids based on modern deep rein-forcement learning.Considering the complementary characteristics of different storage devices,the proposed approach achieves multi-timescale coordination of battery and supercapacitor by introducing a hierarchical two-stage dispatch model.The first stage makes an initial decision irrespective of the uncertainties using the hourly predicted data to minimize the operational cost.For the second stage,it aims to generate corrective actions for the first-stage decisions to compensate for real-time renewable generation fluctuations.The first stage is formulated as a non-convex deterministic optimization problem,while the second stage is modeled as a Markov decision process solved by an entropy-regularized deep reinforcement learning method,i.e.,the Soft Actor-Critic.The Soft Actor-Critic method can efficiently address the exploration-exploitation dilemma and suppress variations.This improves the robustness of decisions.Simulation results demonstrate that different types of energy storage devices can be used at two stages to achieve the multi-timescale coordinated operation.This proves the effectiveness of the proposed method. | Chunchao Hu Zexiang Cai Yanxu Zhang Rudai Yan Yu Cai Bowei Cen | 2022 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Steroidal saponins with anti-inflammatory activity from Tribulus terrestris L.显示文摘Objective:Tribulus terrestris L.(T.terrestris)is a highly valuable traditional Chinese medicine used to treat stroke,inflammation,pulmonary fibrosis,liver cancer,and urolithiasis.To identify the basic substance responsible for the anti-inflammatory effect of TST(total saponins of Tribulus),its chemical composition was systematically studied,and its effect of inhibiting nitric oxide generation and the expression of related inflammatory factors were determined.Methods:To separate chemical constituents from T.terrestris by column chromatography.Spectroscopic methods,including 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMR)and mass spectrometry(MS)techniques,were used to elucidate the isolated compounds.The anti-inflammatory activities of TST and several compounds were evaluated in vitro.Results:Fifteen steroidal saponins,including 9 furostanol steroidal saponins(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,and 15)and 6 isospirostanol steroidal saponins(9,10,11,12,13,and 14),were isolated from T.terrestris.TST significantly decreased the expression of tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in RAW 264.7 cells stimulated by lipopolysaccharides.Compounds 13 and 15 evidently reduced TNF-a expression.Compounds 6,10,12,13,and 15 markedly reduced IL-6 expression.Conclusions:Compounds 1 was a novel furostanol steroidal saponin,named 26-O-b-D-glucopyranosyl-(25R)-5afurostan-12-carbonyl-20(22)-en-3b,26-diol-3-O-{b-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→2)-[b-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-b-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)]-b-D-galactopyranoside}.Compounds 2 was isolated from the family Zygophyllaceae for the first time,and 5 and 6 were isolated from the Tribulus genus.TST and compounds 6,10,12,13,and 15 exerts antiinflammatory activity. | Miaojie Yang Mahmood Brobbey Oppong Jingrui Di Qing Yuan Yanxu Chang Miaomiao Jiang Shijie Cao Pengzhi Dong Lin Li Yan Xie Xiaoying Luan Limin Hu Lijuan Chai Peng Zhang | 2022 | Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2022,2,1: | 1 |

| 7 | Petroleum geological features and hydrocarbon enrichment of Linhe Depression in Hetao Basin, NW China显示文摘Based on paleogeomorphology, drilling and seismic data, this paper systematically studies the structural and sedimentary evolution, source rock characteristics, reservoir characteristics and formation mechanism, hydrocarbon accumulation model and enrichment law in the Linhe Depression of the Hetao Basin, NW China. The Hetao Basin mainly experienced three stages of evolution, namely, weak extensional fault depression, strong extensional fault depression and strike-slip transformation, giving rise to four positive structural belts(Jilantai, Shabu, Nalinhu and Xinglong), which are favorable areas for oil and gas accumulation. The two main saline lacustrine source rocks, Lower Cretaceous Guyang Formation and Oligocene Linhe Formation, are characterized by high sulfur content, rich algae, early maturity, early expulsion, and wide oil generation window. The large structural transition belt in the intermountain area around the Hetao Basin controls the formation of large-scale braided river delta deposits, which are characterized by high quartz content(50%-76%), long-term shallow burial and weak compaction, low cement content, and good reservoir properties in delta front sandbody. The burial depth of the effective Paleogene reservoirs is predicted to reach 8000 m. Three hydrocarbon accumulation models, nose-uplift near sag, buried hill surrounding sag, fault nose near source rock, are constructed.
