1PHYSICAL MODELING FOR THE MECHANISMS OF BEAD FORMATION DEFECTS BASED ON THE STABILITY OF LIQUID METAL显示文摘Based on the theory of stability of the liquid metal under the action of surface tension,a physical mod- el is established for the mechanisms of the bead formation deferct’ humping’, which is generated during high - speed welding.A boundary function is introduced to correct the model,theoretical results got by the model correspond well with the experimental phenomena. A two - dimensional conducting model is adoopted in the simulation of the temperature field during high - speed welding.Finally, the factors acting upon the stability of liquid metal are analyzed.S. 2COMPUTERIZED SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON SOFT-SWITCHING ARC WELDING INVERTER POWER SOURCE显示文摘Based on the existing component models in the Pspice software package, a combined model for Insulat- ed the Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) is established, in which a non - linear is introduced to represent the parasitic capacitance. Using this model, computerized simulation is conducted for the FB - ZVZCS - PWM soft - ewitching converter,the switching and energy-transferring characteristics of the components are analyzed.The simulation results are testified by experiments.It is proved that by abopting appropriate models,computerized simulation becomes an effective tool for investigation of arc welding inverter power source.S. 3SIMULATION ON HEATING PROCESS IN ULTRASONIC WELDING OF PLASTICS显示文摘The energy conversion during ultrasonic plastic welding is analyzed on the basis of the theory of vis- coelastic mechanics,.The temperature field and the temperature change of the ABS specimen with ener- gy director during ultrasonic welding is simulated with finite element method(FEM). In the simu- lation process,the melting of the energy energy is also considered. 4APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK MODELING TO PLASMA ARC WELDING OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS显示文摘By using alternating current plasma arc welding,the influences were studied of such parameters as welding curent,arc voltage,welding speed,wire feed rate,and magnitude of ion gas flow on front melting width,wdle reinforcement,and back melting width of LF6 aluminum alloy.Model of the formation of welding seam in alternating current plasma arc welding of aluminum was set up with the method of artificial neural neural network - BP algorithm. Qyakuty of formation was consequently predicted and evaluated.The experimental result shows that,compared with other modeling methods,artificial network model can be used to more accurately predict formation of weld,and to guide the production practice.D. 5NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF TEMPERATURE FIELDS FOR WELD METAL SOLIDIFICATION CRACKING IN STAINLESS STEELS显示文摘This paper has analyzed the influences of the heat input of welding arc, the latent heat of solidifica- tion,fluid flow of liquid metal on the heat conductivity pertaining to welding solidification crack of stainless steels. As a result,two - dimensional heat conduction models with prescribed heat flux mov- ing along the the have been developed that can simulate welding arc, convection and radiation heat loss from top and bottom surfaces of the workpiece. 8NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF STRESS-STRAIN DISTRIBUTIONS FOR WELD METAL SOLIDIFICATION CRACKING IN STAINLESS STEEL显示文摘This paper analyzed the characteristics of welding solidification crack of stainless steels,and clearly re- vealed the the of the deformation in the molten - the pool and the solidification shrinkage on the stress - strain fields in the trail of molten - weld pool.Moreover, rheologic properties of the alloys in solid - liquid zone were also obtained by measuring the hading and unloading deform curves of the steels.As a result, a numerical model for simulation of stress - strain distributions of welding solidifi- cation crack was developed. 9NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF PENETRATION PROCESS BASED ON THE VARIATION OF HEAT TRANSFER CONDITION显示文摘In this paper, the process of dynamic heat output in a welding pool and the variation of the penetration caused by the section change of the workpiece are analyzed using numerical simulation technique of thermal field. It is concluded that the variation of temperature gradient in HAZ along the length and width direction reflects the heat output of the welding pool, and that the output of the welding pool has a homogenous relationship to the pool penetration.L. 10DIFFUSION BONDING OF TiAl TO Ti AND TC4 ALLOY显示文摘TiAl was diffusion bonded to Ti and TC4 alloy in vacuum furnace. Results showed,at the TiAl-Ti interface,the reaction layer of stratification Ti3Al was formed closest to TiAl base,and the a phase and the α + βphase arised closest to Ti base at 1173K and 1573K respectively. The phase structure of TiAl/ and the phase structure of TiAlwere observed be- tween AiAl and TC4 under respetive bonding temperature.The fiacture at tensile testing occurred in the bond - line, producing very flat fracture surfaces with some pull-out of the TiAl materials.The ultimate tensile strengths of the joint were approximate to γ-TiAl base marterial.P. 14RESISTANCE BRAZING OF SiC/2024AI COMPOSITE显示文摘The resistance brazing of 2024Al reinforced with15 volume percent of Sic particulate was simulated by using a Gleeble - 1500 Tharmal/Mechanical sindator. The results show that too high or too low brazing temperature and pressure result in decrease in shear strength of joint,but brazing time influenc- es it slightly. The action between filler metals and the composite was analyzed by SEM and EPAM.
