1Preparation of ultrafine chitosan particles by reverse microemulsion显示文摘Ultrafine chitosan particles were prepared by reverse microemulsion consisting of water, Triton X-100, octanol and cyclohexane. Two methods of preparing ultrafine chitosan particles were adopted and compared using TEM and IR, and possible mechanisms for the formation of ultrafine chitosan particles were proposed. Experimental results show that the method which combined ionic gelation and cross-linking gave uniformly sized chitosan nanoparticles with an average diameter of 92 nm, while the cross-linking without ionic gelation produced spindly chitosan particles with an average length of 943 nm and width of 188 nm.Guogen Liu Lei Shao Fei Ge Jianfeng Chen 2007China Particuology2007,5,6:5
2THE EXTRACTED COMPLEX FORMED BY MONO (2-ETHYLHEXYL)-2-ETHYLHEXYL PHOSPHATE WITH DIVALENT Mn显示文摘In order to clarify the mechanism and the complex formed in the extraction of divalent Mn byalkylphosphonic acid monoester, the solid complex has been prepared by mono(2-ethylhexyl)-2-ethylhexyl phosphate, HEH(EH)P, HA with divalent Mn. The elementalanalysis, magnetic susceptibility and thermogravimetry have been determined for the solidcomplex of HEH(EH)P-Mn(II) and the infrared spectrum has been carried out in comparisonto the extractant HEH(EH)P.
