The analysis of genetic diversity and differentiation of six Chinese cattle populations using microsatellite markers显示文摘A total of 321 individuals from six cattle populations of four species in a bovine subfamily in China were studied using 12 pairs of mi- crosatellite markers. The genetic diversities within and between populations were calculated. The phylogenetic trees were constructed by (δμ) 2 and DA distances, and the divergence times between populations were estimated by (δμ) 2. Altogether, 144 microsatellite alleles were detected including 24 private alleles and nine shared alleles. Chinese Holstein had the largest number of private alleles (10), whereas, Bohai black and Buffalo had the smallest number of private alleles (2). Chinese Holstein showed the highest genetic variability. Its ob- served number of alleles (Na), mean effective number of alleles (MNA), and mean heterozygosity (He) were 7.7500, 4.9722, and 0.7719, respectively, whereas, the Buffalo and Yak showed low genetic variability. In the phylogenetic trees, Luxi and Holstein grouped first, followed by Bohai and Minnan. Yak branched next and buffalo emerged as the most divergent population from other cattle populations. Luxi and Bohai were estimated to have diverged 0.039-0.105 million years ago (MYA), however, buffalo and Holstein diverged 0.501-1.337 MYA. The divergence time of Yak versus Minnan, Holstein and buffalo was 0.136-0.363, 0.273-0.729, and 0.326-0.600 MYA, respectively.Yongjiang Mao Hong Chang Zhangping Yang Liu Zhang Ming Xu Guobin Chang Wei Sun Guangming Song Dejun Ji 2008Journal of Genetics and Genomics2008,35,1:2

Axial spondyloarthritis:synthetic magnetic resonance imaging in the detection of sacroiliac joint lesions显示文摘To the Editor:Axial spondyloarthritis(axSpA)is characterized by sacroiliac joint inflammation, spine inflammation, bone destruction, and osteogenesis.Ankylosis of the spine and/or hip joints may occur later, significantly affecting the patient’s quality of life.As the earliest and most common imaging finding of axSpA,sacroiliitis can be divided into early active and late structural lesions.Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)not only detects active inflammatory changes that cannot be found in computed tomography(CT)or X-rays but also has a similar sensitivity to CT in detecting structural lesions.Ke Zhang Jing Zheng Jielin Pan Yunping Jiang Yingying Zhan Wenjuan Li Hua Zhang Guobin Hong 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,21:0
The First Crested Duck Genome Reveals Clues to Genetic Compensation and Crest Cushion Formation显示文摘The Chinese crested(CC)duck is a unique indigenous waterfowl breed, which has a crest cushion that affects its survival rate. Therefore, the CC duck is an ideal model to investigate the genetic compensation response to maintain genetic stability. In the present study,we first generated a chromosome-level genome of CC ducks.Comparative genomics revealed that genes related to tissue repair, immune function, and tumors were under strong positive selection, indicating that these adaptive changes might enhance cancer resistance and immune response to maintain the genetic stability of CC ducks. We also assembled a Chinese spot-billed(Csp-b)duck genome, and detected the structural variations(SVs)in the genome assemblies of three ducks(i.e.,CC duck,Csp-b duck, and Peking duck).Functional analysis revealed that several SVs were related to the immune system of CC ducks, further strongly suggesting that genetic compensation in the anti-tumor and immune systems supports the survival of CC ducks. Moreover,we confirmed that the CC duck originated from the mallard ducks. Finally,we revealed the physiological and genetic basis of crest traits and identified a causative mutation in TAS2R40 that leads to crest formation.Overall, the findings of this study provide new insights into the role of genetic compensation in adaptive evolution.Guobin Chang Xiaoya Yuan Qixin Guo Hao Bai Xiaofang Cao Meng Liu Zhixiu Wang Bichun Li Shasha Wang Yong Jiang Zhiquan Wang Yang Zhang Qi Xu Qianqian Song Rui Pan Lingling Qiu Tiantian Gu Xinsheng Wu Yulin Bi Zhengfeng Cao Yu Zhang Yang Chen Hong Li Jianfeng Liu Wangcheng Dai Guohong Chen 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,3:0
Laser-assisted synthesis of cobalt@N-doped carbon nanotubes decorated channels and pillars of wafer-sized silicon as highly efficient three-dimensional solar evaporator显示文摘The Co@NCNTs/Si pillars with channels is assemble to a suitable pure water gathering device, which is applied in seawater desalination and sewage purification to produce pure water by utilizing solar energy.High-efficiency utilization of solar energy to generate water vapor is popular, recyclable, and environmentally friendly for seawater desalination and sewage purification, helping to alleviate the global water shortage crisis. Here,we report an efficient and simple method to prepare a threedimensional(3 D) evaporator for steam generation by harnessing the power of the sun. This evaporation is composed of one-dimensional(1 D) cobalt embedded and nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes(Co@NCNTs) and 3 D silicon pillars array structure(Si pillars). The Co@NCNTs/Si pillars shows a wide light absorption range provided by carbon nanotubes and a long light absorption path because of the silicon pillars. The surface temperature of the sample rises rapidly in 1.5 min and exceed 80C under solar illumination of one sun.The water evaporation can be high as 1.21 kg m^(-2) h^(-1) under one sun irradiation(1 kW/m^(2)) with the energy efficiency up to 82.4%.This scalable Co@NCNTs/Si pillars can prepare pure water from seawater and sewage, where the removal rate of ions in seawater and pollutants in sewage is similar to 100%.Based on our research, this multistage three-dimensional structure is a simple and efficient novel photothermal material for extensive seawater desalination and sewage purification.Yiwei Zhao Haifeng Yuan Xiaofei Zhang Guobin Xue Jiebin Tang Yuke Chen Xiaoli Zhang Weijia Zhou Hong Liu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10:0
动脉持续灌注化疗与静脉全身化疗治疗中晚期胰腺癌的疗效分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: To compare the curative effectiveness of continuous transarterial infusion chemotherapy and systemic venous chemotherapy in treating patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, and to evaluate the value of selective continu-ous transarterial infusion chemotherapy in treating advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods: Of the 51 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer receiving chemotherapy with gemcitabine and 5-fluorouracil, 25 patients were treated with selective con-tinuous transarterial infusion chemotherapy, 26 were treated with systemic venous chemotherapy, and curative effective-ness was analyzed retrospectively. Curative effectiveness included tumor volume, clinical benefit response (CBR), acute and subacute toxic reactions of antitumor drugs, survival rate and median survival time. Results: The objective effective rate in transarterial group was 32.0% versus 23.1% in systemic group without any significant difference (P = 0.475). Clinical benefit rates in transarterial group and systemic group were 80.0% and 50.0% respectively (P = 0.025). The 6-, 9-and 12-month accumulated survival rates and median survival time in transarterial group were higher than those of the systemic group (P = 0.002), the differences were statistically significant. However, the adverse reactions between the two groups were not statistically significant. Conclusion: Compared with systemic chemotherapy, continuous transarterial infusion chemotherapy with gemcitabine and 5-fluorouracil could improve clinical benefit rate and survival time of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, it is safe and reliable, and the adverse reactions is less.Guobin Hong Jingxing Zhou Jianghong Luo Linfeng Xu Yaoting Chen Rongjian Jiang 2007The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2007,6,5:0
