1A new iterative algorithm for geolocating a known altitude target using TDOA and FDOA measurements in the presence of satellite location uncertainty显示文摘This paper considers the problem of geolocating a target on the Earth surface whose altitude is known previously using the target signal time difference of arrival(TDOA) and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA) measurements obtained at satellites. The number of satellites available for the geolocation task is more than sufficient and their locations are subject to random errors. This paper derives the constrained Crame′r-Rao lower bound(CCRLB) of the target position, and on the basis of the CCRLB analysis, an approximately efficient constrained maximum likelihood estimator(CMLE) for geolocating the target is established. A new iterative algorithm for solving the CMLE is then proposed, where the updated target position estimate is shown to be the globally optimal solution to a generalized trust region sub-problem(GTRS) which can be found via a simple bisection search. First-order mean square error(MSE) analysis is conducted to quantify the performance degradation when the known target altitude is assumed to be precise but indeed has an unknown but deterministic error. Computer simulations are used to compare the performance of the proposed iterative geolocation technique with those of two benchmark algorithms. 2Outline of Uranium Resources Characteristics and Metallogenetic Regularity in China显示文摘Uranium,as one of twenty-six kinds of important minerals in China,is strategic resource and energy mineral,which has been thoroughly investigated in the project of National Potential Evaluation of Uranium Resource.During the implementation of this project,the authors summarized the metallogenic regularity of uranium resource in China systematically,through the researches of geological characteristics of uranium resource,uranium deposits type(genetic and prediction type),temporal and spatial distribution,and metallogenic series.Based on the investigation of present situation and progress in uranium exploration,this paper proposes the uranium deposits in China should be divided into 4 classes,9 types,21 subtypes in genetic,and 50 types in prediction;suggests to divide China into 29 uranium metallogenic belts and 20 uranium prospective area,and constructs 20uranium-polymetallic metallogenic series,through summarizing temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and metallogenic regularity of uranium deposits in China.The above research is beneficial to the comprehensive understanding of regional uranium metallogenic regularity,and will direct the uranium exploration in the future.CAI Yuqi ZHANG Jindai LI Ziying GUO Qingyin SONG Jiye FAN Honghai LIU Wusheng QI Fucheng ZHANG Minglin 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:11
3A Linear-correction Least-squares Approach for Geolocation Using FDOA Measurements Only显示文摘A linear-correction least-squares(LCLS) estimation procedure is proposed for geolocation using frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) measurements only. We first analyze the measurements of FDOA, and further derive the Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB) of geolocation using FDOA measurements. For the localization model is a nonlinear least squares(LS) estimator with a nonlinear constrained, a linearizing method is used to convert the model to a linear least squares estimator with a nonlinear constrained. The Gauss-Newton iteration method is developed to conquer the source localization problem. From the analysis of solving Lagrange multiplier, the algorithm is a generalization of linear-correction least squares estimation procedure under the condition of geolocation using FDOA measurements only. The algorithm is compared with common least squares estimation. Comparisons of their estimation accuracy and the CRLB are made, and the proposed method attains the CRLB. 4A closed-form solution for moving source localization using LBI changing rate of phase difference only显示文摘Due to the deficiencies in the conventional multiple-receiver localization systems based on direction of arrival(DOA) such as system complexity of interferometer or array and amplitude/phase unbalance between multiple receiving channels and constraint on antenna configuration,a new radiated source localization method using the changing rate of phase difference(CRPD)measured by a long baseline interferometer(LBI) only is studied. To solve the strictly nonlinear problem, a two-stage closed-form solution is proposed. In the first stage, the DOA and its changing rate are estimated from the CRPD of each observer by the pseudolinear least square(PLS) method,and then in the second stage, the source position and velocity are found by another PLS minimization. The bias of the algorithm caused by the correlation between the measurement matrix and the noise in the second stage is analyzed. To reduce this bias, an instrumental variable(IV) method is derived. A weighted IV estimator is given in order to reduce the estimation variance. The proposed method does not need any initial guess and the computation is small. The Cramer–Rao lower bound(CRLB) and mean square error(MSE) are also analyzed. 5Source localization and calibration using TDOA and FDOA measurements in the presence of sensor location uncertainty显示文摘Source localization accuracy is very sensitive to sensor location error.This paper performs analysis and develops a solution for locating a moving source using time difference of arrival(TDOA)and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA)measurements with the use of a calibration emitter.Using a Gaussian random signal model,we first derive the Cram′er-Rao lower bound(CRLB)for source location estimate in this scenario.Then we analyze the differential calibration technique which is commonly used in Global Positioning System.It is indicated that the differential calibration cannot attain the CRLB accuracy in most cases.A closed-form solution is then proposed which takes a calibration emitter into account to reduce sensor location error.It is shown analytically that under some mild approximations,our approach is able to reach the CRLB accuracy.Numerical simulations are included to corroborate the theoretical developments.LI JinZhou GUO FuCheng JIANG WenLi 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4:4
6Evaluation of the compatibility between rubber and asphalt based on molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘Using of rubber asphalt can both promote the recycling of waste tires and improve the performance of asphalt pavement.However,the segregation of rubber asphalt caused by the poor storage stability always appears during its application.Storage stability of asphalt and rubber is related to the compatibility and also influenced by rubber content.In this study,molecular models of different rubbers and chemical fractions of asphalt were built to perform the molecular dynamics simulation.The solubility parameter and binding energy between rubber and asphalt were obtained to evaluate the compatibility between rubber and asphalt as well as the influence of rubber content on compatibility.Results show that all three kinds of rubber are commendably compatible with asphalt,where the compatibility between asphalt and cis-polybutadiene rubber(BR)is the best,followed by styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR),and natural rubber(NR)is the worst.The optimum rubber contents for BR asphalt,SBR asphalt,and NR asphalt were determined as 15%,15%,and 20%,respectively.In addition,the upper limits of rubber contents were found as between 25%and 30%,between 20%and 25%,and between 25%and 30%,respectively.Fucheng GUO Jiupeng ZHANG Jianzhong PEI Weisi MA Zhuang HU Yongsheng GUAN 2020Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2020,14,2:4
7A Method for Evaluating the Suitability of CO2 Geological Storage in Deep Saline Aquifers显示文摘This work established an evaluation index system based on a comprehensive analysis of those factors affecting the suitability of CO_2 geological storage.This evaluation index system includes three evaluation index layers of geological safety,storage scale and social economy,nine evaluation index sub-layers,and 28 evaluation index factors,and adopts the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and index overlay methods.Taking the Xining Basin in northwest China as an example,we conducted comprehensive analysis of geological conditions and performed quantitative evaluation based on this evaluation index system,which indicates that the Shuangshu depression of the Xining Basin is comparatively suitable for CO_2 geological storage.It is suggested that this evaluation index system and the evaluation method proposed in this study are suitable for most continental sedimentary basins in China and should be widely applied.LI Fucheng ZHANG Yang JIA Xiaofeng LI Xufeng JIA Xiaoleng GUO Shengxiu 2016Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,5:4
8Reversible self-assembly of gold nanorods mediated by photoswitchable molecular adsorption显示文摘Stimuli-responsive self-assembly of nanoparticles represents a powerful strategy to achieve reconfigurable materials with novel functionalities and promising applications.In this regard,light-induced reversible self-assembly (LIRSA) of nanoparticles is most attractive but it is usually limited by the prerequisite yet cumbersome chemical functionalizations of the particle surface.Here we describe an innovative method to realize LIRSA of gold nanorods (GNRs) without surface functionalization through photoswitchable adsorption of an anionic azobenzene derivate AzoNa.The LIRSA of GNRs is caused by the reversible change between a nearly neutral state and a highly charged state of the GNRs arising from the photoswichable adsorption of AzoNa triggered by photoisomerization.The LIRSA behavior can be readily adjusted by changing the concentration of AzoNa and the aspect ratio of the GNRs.This new LIRSA strategy may provide a convenient and efficient route toward light-triggered reversibly reconfigurable nanomaterials.Qian Wang Di Li Junyan Xiao Fucheng Guo Limin Qi 2019Nano Research2019,12,7:2
9Design of an Optimal Preview Controller for Dual-Rate Linear Discrete-Time Systems显示文摘A dual-rate preview control strategy for a type of discrete-time system is proposed based on the theory of multirate control. First, by using the discrete lifting technique, the general dual-rate discrete-time system is converted into a single-rate augmented system. On this basis, the augmented error system is constructed by introducing a first-order difference operator and the previewable reference signal. Then the tracking problem is transformed into a regulator problem of the augmented error system. The optimal preview control law of the augmented error system is obtained by using standard linear quadratic optimal preview control theory, and then the optimal preview controller of the original system is derived. 11Global nitrogen input on wetland ecosystem:The driving mechanism of soil labile carbon and nitrogen on greenhouse gas emissions显示文摘Greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands are significantly promoted by global nitrogen input for changing the rate of soil carbon and nitrogen cycling,and are substantially affected by soil labile carbon and nitrogen conversely.However,the driving mechanism by which soil labile carbon and nitrogen affect greenhouse gas emissions from wetland ecosystems under global nitrogen input is not well understood.Working out the driving factor of nitrogen input on greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands is critical to reducing global warming from nitrogen input.Thus,we synthesized 72 published studies(2144 paired observations)of greenhouse gas fluxes and soil labile compounds of carbon and nitrogen(ammonium,nitrate,dissolved organic carbon,soil microbial biomass nitrogen and carbon),to understand the effects of labile carbon and nitrogen on greenhouse gas emissions under global nitrogen input.Across the data set,nitrogen input significantly promoted carbon dioxide,methane and nitrous oxide emissions from wetlands.In particular,at lower nitrogen rates(<100 kg ha^(-1)$·yr^(-1))and with added ammonium compounds,freshwater wetland significantly promoted carbon dioxide and methane emissions.Peatland was the largest nitrous oxide source under these conditions.This meta-analysis also revealed that nitrogen input stimulated dissolved organic carbon,ammonium,nitrate,microbial biomass carbon and microbial biomass nitrogen accumulation in the wetland ecosystem.The variation-partitioning analysis and structural equation model were used to analyze the relationship between the greenhouse gas and labile carbon and nitrogen further.These results revealed that dissolved organic carbon(DOC)is the primary factor driving greenhouse gas emission from wetlands under global nitrogen input,whereas microbial biomass carbon(MBC)more directly affects greenhouse gas emission than other labile carbon and nitrogen.Mengli Chen Lian Chang Junmao Zhang Fucheng Guo Jan Vymazal Qiang He Yi Chen 2020Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2020,,4:2

14Translocation and biotoxicity of metal (oxide) nanoparticles in the wetland-plant system显示文摘Engineered nanoparticles(ENPs)threaten the environment through wastewater discharging.Generally,constructed wetlands(CWs)are efficient methods for ENPs removal.However,the biotoxicity of ENPs on plants in CWs is unclear.Here,we investigated the distribution and bio-impacts of different ENPs(Ag NPs,TiO_(2) NPs,and CeO_(2) NPs)in plants under 5-and 60-day exposure to 1 and 50 mg/L concentrations.Results showed that ENPs appeared in the vascular bundle and mesophyll cell space,which induced the variation in antioxidase activities(e.g.,superoxide dismutase[SOD],peroxidase[POD],and catalase[CAT]activities)as well as overproduction of malondialdehyde(MDA).Additionally,Ag NPs inhibited photosynthesis rate and root activity during two exposure phases.CeO_(2) NPs had positive and negative impacts on plants in 5-and 60-day exposure,respectively.Inversely,TiO_(2) NPs enhanced photosynthesis and root activity under 60-day exposure.Finally,the contents of the C,N,and P elements in plants fluctuated in response to ENPs stress.All results have a positive correlation with the wetland performance under ENPs exposure except for TiO_(2) NPs treatment.Overall,our study systematically reveals aquatic plants'responses to ENPs and provides a reference for building ecological treatment systems to purify wastewater containing ENPs.Xiangyu Yang Qiang He Fucheng Guo Xiaobo Liu Yi Chen 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,6:1

17A new satellite to satellite tracking algorithm from Doppler-shifted frequency measurements显示文摘A new satellite to satellite tracking (SST) algorithm from Doppler-shifted frequency measurements is proposed. The estimation principle is demonstrated and the mathematic model of SST is established. The state estimation methods for a user (the cooperative case) and target satellites (the non-cooperative case) are presented based on particle swarm optimization (PSO). The Cramer-Rao lower bounds (CRLB) are deduced as well. 18Effect of wetland plant fermentation broth on nitrogen removal and bioenergy generation in constructed wetland-microbial fuel cells显示文摘Constructed wetlands(CWs)are widely used as a tertiary treatment technology,and the addition of carbon sources can significantly improve advanced nitrogen removal.However,excessive carbon sources would lead to an increase in the effluent chemical oxygen demand in CWs,and microbial fuel cells(MFCs)can convert these into electricity.In this study,constructed wetland-microbial fuel cells(CW-MFCs)were built to achieve simultaneous nitrogen removal and electricity generation,using wetland plant litter fermentation broths as carbon sources.The total nitrogen removal in the groups with fermentation broth addition(FGs)reached 83.33%,which was 19.64%higher than that in the CG(group without fermentation broth),and the mean voltages in the FGs were at least 2.6 times higher than that of the CG.Furthermore,two main components of the fermentation broths,acetic acid(Ac)and humic acid(HA),were identified using a three-dimensional excitation emission matrix and gas chromatograph and added to CW-MFCs to explore the influence mechanism on the treatment performance.Denitrification and electrogenesis presented the same tendency:Ac&HA>Ac>CG’(groups without Ac and HA).These results indicate that Ac and HA increased the abundance of functional genes associated with nitrogen metabolism and electron transfer.This study demonstrated that CW-MFC fermentation broth addition can be a potential strategy for the disposal of secondary effluent and bioelectricity generation.Yiting Chen Jun Yan Mengli Chen Fucheng Guo Tao Liu Yi Chen 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,12:0

20Solving Geometry Problems via Feature Learning and Contrastive Learning of Multimodal Data显示文摘This paper presents an end-to-end deep learning method to solve geometry problems via feature learning and contrastive learning of multimodal data.A key challenge in solving geometry problems using deep learning is to automatically adapt to the task of understanding single-modal and multimodal problems.Existing methods either focus on single-modal ormultimodal problems,and they cannot fit each other.A general geometry problem solver shouldobviouslybe able toprocess variousmodalproblems at the same time.Inthispaper,a shared feature-learning model of multimodal data is adopted to learn the unified feature representation of text and image,which can solve the heterogeneity issue between multimodal geometry problems.A contrastive learning model of multimodal data enhances the semantic relevance betweenmultimodal features and maps them into a unified semantic space,which can effectively adapt to both single-modal and multimodal downstream tasks.Based on the feature extraction and fusion of multimodal data,a proposed geometry problem solver uses relation extraction,theorem reasoning,and problem solving to present solutions in a readable way.Experimental results show the effectiveness of the method.Pengpeng Jian Fucheng Guo Yanli Wang Yang Li 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,8:0
