1Privacy Quantification Model Based on the Bayes Conditional Risk in Location-Based Services显示文摘The widespread use of Location-Based Services(LBSs),which allows untrusted service providers to collect large quantities of information regarding users’locations,has raised serious privacy concerns.In response to these issues,a variety of LBS Privacy Protection Mechanisms(LPPMs)have been recently proposed.However,evaluating these LPPMs remains problematic because of the absence of a generic adversarial model for most existing privacy metrics.In particular,the relationships between these metrics have not been examined in depth under a common adversarial model,leading to a possible selection of the inappropriate metric,which runs the risk of wrongly evaluating LPPMs.In this paper,we address these issues by proposing a privacy quantification model,which is based on Bayes conditional privacy,to specify a general adversarial model.This model employs a general definition of conditional privacy regarding the adversary’s estimation error to compare the different LBS privacy metrics.Moreover,we present a theoretical analysis for specifying how to connect our metric with other popular LBS privacy metrics.We show that our privacy quantification model permits interpretation and comparison of various popular LBS privacy metrics under a common perspective.Our results contribute to a better understanding of how privacy properties can be measured,as well as to the better selection of the most appropriate metric for any given LBS application.Xuejun Zhang Xiaolin Gui Feng Tian Si Yu Jian An 2014Tsinghua Science and Technology2014,19,5:6
2Analysis of Malware Application Based on Massive Network Traffic显示文摘Security and privacy issues are magnified by velocity, volume, and variety of big data. User's privacy is an even more sensitive topic attracting most people's attention. While XcodeGhost, a malware of i OS emerging in late 2015, leads to the privacy-leakage of a large number of users, only a few studies have examined XcodeGhost based on its source code. In this paper we describe observations by monitoring the network activities for more than 2.59 million i Phone users in a provincial area across 232 days. Our analysis reveals a number of interesting points. For example, we propose a decay model for the prevalence rate of Xcode Ghost and we find that the ratio of the infected devices is more than 60%; that a lot of popular applications, such as Wechat, railway 12306, didi taxi, Youku video are also infected; and that the duration as well as the traffic volume of most Xcode Ghost-related HTTP-requests is similar with usual HTTP-request which makes it difficult to be found. Besides, we propose a heuristic model based on fingerprint and its web-knowledge to identify the infected applications. 3A Retrievable Data Perturbation Method Used in Privacy-Preserving in Cloud Computing显示文摘With the increasing popularity of cloud computing,privacy has become one of the key problem in cloud security.When data is outsourced to the cloud,for data owners,they need to ensure the security of their privacy;for cloud service providers,they need some information of the data to provide high QoS services;and for authorized users,they need to access to the true value of data.The existing privacy-preserving methods can't meet all the needs of the three parties at the same time.To address this issue,we propose a retrievable data perturbation method and use it in the privacy-preserving in data outsourcing in cloud computing.Our scheme comes in four steps.Firstly,an improved random generator is proposed to generate an accurate 'noise'.Next,a perturbation algorithm is introduced to add noise to the original data.By doing this,the privacy information is hidden,but the mean and covariance of data which the service providers may need remain unchanged.Then,a retrieval algorithm is proposed to get the original data back from the perturbed data.Finally,we combine the retrievable perturbation with the access control process to ensure only the authorized users can retrieve the original data.The experiments show that our scheme perturbs date correctly,efficiently,and securely.YANG Pan 2014China Communications2014,11,8:3
4A dimension reduced INS/VNS integrated navigation method for planetary rovers显示文摘Inertial navigation system/visual navigation system(INS/VNS) integrated navigation is a commonly used autonomous navigation method for planetary rovers. Since visual measurements are related to the previous and current state vectors(position and attitude) of planetary rovers, the performance of the Kalman filter(KF) will be challenged by the time-correlation problem. A state augmentation method, which augments the previous state value to the state vector, is commonly used when dealing with this problem. However, the augmenting of state dimensions will result in an increase in computation load. In this paper, a state dimension reduced INS/VNS integrated navigation method based on coordinates of feature points is presented that utilizes the information obtained through INS/VNS integrated navigation at a previous moment to overcome the time relevance problem and reduce the dimensions of the state vector. Equations of extended Kalman filter(EKF) are used to demonstrate the equivalence of calculated results between the proposed method and traditional state augmented methods. 6Fine-grained analysis of cellular smartphone usage characteristics based on massive network traffic显示文摘Increased adoption of smartphones leads to the explosive growth of mobile network traffic. Understanding the traffic characteristics of mobile network is important for Internet service providers(ISPs) to optimize network resources. In this paper, we conduct a detailed measurement study on the hyper text transfer protocol(HTTP) traffic characteristics of cellular network among different operating systems(OSs) as well as different device-types. Firstly, we propose a probability-based method to identify the installed OS of each smartphone. Then we analyze the traffic characteristics of these smartphones in terms of OS and device-type based on a dataset across 31 days(a billing cycle). Finally, we identify the installed apps of each smartphone and compare the usage of apps on the dimensions of OS and device-type. 10Cell-mediated immunity to SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)viruses spread unscrupulously virtually every corner on the planet in a very quick speed leading to an unprecedented world pandemic of COVID-19 claiming a great many of people’s life.Paramount importance has been given to the studies on the virus itself including genomic variation and viron structure,as well as cell entry pathway and tissue residence.Other than that,to learn the main characteristic of host immunity responding to SARS-CoV-2 infection is an eminent task for restraining virus and controlling disease progress.Beside antibody production in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection,host cellular immunity plays an indispensable role in impeding virus replication and expansion at various stages of COVID-19 disease.In this review,we summarized the recent knowledge regarding the aberrant regulation and dysfunction of multiple immune cells during SARS-CoV-2 infection.This includes the dysregulation of immune cell number,Th polarity,cytokine storm they implicated with,as well as cell function exhaustion after chronic virus stimulation.Notwithstanding that many obstacles remain to be overcome,studies on immunotherapy for COVID-19 treatment based on the known features of host immunity in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection offer us tangible benefits and hope for making this SARS-CoV-2 pandemic under control.Xiaolin Wang Jingang Gui 2020Pediatric Investigation2020,4,4:1

16Probabilistic Top-k Query:Model and Application on Web Traffic Analysis显示文摘Top-k ranking of websites according to traffic volume is important for Internet Service Providers(ISPs) to understand network status and optimize network resources. However, the ranking result always has a big deviation with actual rank for the existence of unknown web traffic, which cannot be identified accurately under current techniques. In this paper, we introduce a novel method to approximate the actual rank. This method associates unknown web traffic with websites according to statistical probabilities. Then, we construct a probabilistic top-k query model to rank websites. We conduct several experiments by using real HTTP traffic traces collected from a commercial ISP covering an entire city in northern China. Experimental results show that the proposed techniques can reduce the deviation existing between the ground truth and the ranking results vastly. In addition, we find that the websites providing video service have higher ratio of unknown IP as well as higher ratio of unknown traffic than the websites providing text web page service. Specifically, we find that the top-3 video websites have more than 90% of unknown web traffic.
