| 1 | Phase I study of chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody in Chinese patients with CD20-positive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘Objective: This study was designed to determine the safety, pharmacokinetics and biologic effects of a humanmouse chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody(SCT400) in Chinese patients with CD20-positive B-cell nonHodgkin's lymphoma(CD20+ B-cell NHL). SCT400 has an identical amino acid sequence as rituximab, with the exception of one amino acid in the CH1 domain of the heavy chain, which is common in Asians.Methods: Fifteen patients with CD20+ B-cell NHL received dose-escalating SCT400 infusions(250 mg/m^2: n=3; 375 mg/m^2: n=9; 500 mg/m^2: n=3) once weekly for 4 consecutive weeks with a 24-week follow-up period. The data of all patients were collected for pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics analyses.Results: No dose-limiting toxicities were observed. Most drug-related adverse events were grade 1 or 2. Two patients had grade 3 or 4 neutropenia. Under premedication, the drug-related infusion reaction was mild. A rapid, profound and durable depletion of circulating B cells was observed in all dose groups without significant effects on T cell count, natural killer(NK) cell count or immunoglobulin levels. No patient developed antiSCT400 antibodies during the course of the study. SCT400 serum half-life(T1/2), maximum concentration(Cmax) and area under the curve(AUC) generally increased between the first and fourth infusions(P<0.05). At the 375 mg/m^2 dose, the T1/2 was 122.5±46.7 h vs. 197.0±75.0 h, respectively, and the Cmax was 200.6±20.2 μg/m L vs. 339.1±71.0 μg/m L, respectively. From 250 mg/m^2 to 500 mg/m^2, the Cmax and AUC increased significantly in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05). Patients with a high tumor burden had markedly lower serum SCT400 concentrations compared with those without or with a low tumor burden. | 2 | Autologous peripheral blood stem cell mobilization following dose-adjusted cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisolone chemotherapy alone or in combination with rituximab in treating high-risk non-Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘Background: The regimen of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone(CHOP) is an eicient treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL). This study aimed to assess the eicacy and toxicity of dose-adjusted CHOP alone or in combination with rituximab(R-CHOP) by examining the stem cell mobilization in NHL patients. Factors afecting the collection of CD34+ cells were also explored.Methods: Our retrospective study included 39 patients eligible for autologous stem cell transplantation: 14 patients who expressed CD20 and were inancially eligible received R-CHOP for autologous peripheral blood stem cell(APBSC) mobilization; the remaining 25 patients received CHOP.Results: The median CD34+ cell yield was 7.01 × 106 cells/kg body weight(range 1.49–28.39 × 106 cells/kg body weight), with only two patients failing to meet the target CD34+ cell harvest of ber of apheresis procedures per patient was 1(range 1–3). The≥2.0 APBS× 106 cells/kg body weight. The median numC mobilization yield of the CHOP group appeared to be higher than that of the R-CHOP group(P response(CR) rate in = 0.005), whereas the success rate was similar between groups. R-CHOP elevated the completeB cell lymphoma patients as compared with CHOP(P = 0.01). | 3 | Two-Dimensional Transient Thermal Analysis of a Phase-Change-Material Canister of a Heat-Pipe Receiver under Gravity显示文摘High-temperature Phase Change Material (PCM) is used as a thermal storage medium of a heat-pipe receiver in an advanced solar dynamic system.With both void cavity and natural convection considered,thermal performance of the heat-pipe receiver is numerically analyzed under gravity.The results indicate that the PCM contained in the integrated heat pipe performs an averaging function of heat loadings.The thermal performance of the heat-pipe receiver is stable and reliable.When a heating cycle is stable,the temperature fluctuations both on heat-pipe wall and in PCM canister remain less than 13 K throughout a sunlight and eclipse cycle.The utility of PCM is essentially improved.The maximum melting ratio of PCM is 92%.Under gravity,PCM melts more quickly with the effect of natural convection.Natural convection accelerates the process of phase changes.Numerical results are compared with the experimental results concerned.The accuracy of numerical model under gravity is verified.The experiment for the PCM canister on the ground can be well prepared with our numerical simulation. | Xiaohong GUI Wei QU Bin LIN Xiugan YUAN | 2010 | Journal of Thermal Science2010,19,2: | 3 |
| 4 | Early ABA-stimulated maintenance of Cl^(−) homeostasis by mepiquat chloride priming confers salt tolerance in cotton seeds显示文摘Mepiquat chloride(MC)priming alleviates the effects of salt stress during seed germination in cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.),but the mechanisms underlying its effects are unknown.We found that MC priming increases salt tolerance,as evidenced by marked increases in seed vigor and germination rates,and alleviated salt toxicity by reducing Cl^(−)accumulation in germinating seeds.Consistently,electrophysiological experiments revealed that the seeds with MC priming displayed superior Cl^(−)exclusion ability in the root apex.These beneficial effects of MC priming were abolished by the abscisic acid(ABA)-synthesis blocker fluridone under salt stress.MC priming induced an early response to acclimatization and stress,as indicated by rapidly increasing ABA content during initial exposure to salt stress.Transcriptome analyses revealed that MC priming induced an array of differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in germinating seeds.The most noticeable changes in germinating seeds were MC priming-induced increases in the expression of DEGs encoding components of ABA biosynthesis,ABA catabolism,and ABA signaling pathways under salt stress.MC priming also increased the expression of some DEGs encoding Cl^(−)ion transporters(e.g.CCC,SLAC1/SLAH1/SLAH3,CLC,and ALMT9)in germinating seeds.These results indicate that MC priming-induced ABA contributes to Cl^(−)homeostasis in tissues and acts as a positive regulator of salt tolerance via regulation of Cl^(−)transporters(particularly CCC and SLAC1/SLAH1/SLAH3).Taken together,these findings shed light on the molecular mechanism underlying MC-mediated tolerance to salt stress during seed germination. | Ning Wang Xiangru Wang Hengheng Zhang Xiaohong Liu Jianbin Shi Qiang Dong Qinghua Xu Huiping Gui Meizhen Song Gentu Yan | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 2 |

Numerical results are compared with NASA(National Aeronautics and Space Administration) results. Analysis results show that the outer wall temperature, the melting ratio of PCM and the temperature gradient of PCM canister, have great difference in different void cavity distribution. The form of void distribution has a great effect on the process of phase change. Based on simulation results under the model of improved void cavity distribution, phase change heat transfer process in thermal storage container is analyzed.
