1THE J STRUCTURE IN ECONOMIC EVOLVING PROCESS显示文摘The economic evolution exhibits complexity. Behind the variable and fluctuant economic data there exists basic characters and rules. One basic structure in economic evolving process called as 'J' structure is studied by us. This kind of structure exists in a wide area, such as economic growth, technology innovation, international trade, education,human capital, ecology and environment etc. From the view of economic evolution, J structure has the character that system should suffer the pressure of initial investment with profit decreasing but get larger return afterwards. It is a kind of adaptation in complexe conomic systems; it reflects the adaptive and reformative ability of the system under the surrounding change. We illustrate the J structure by discussing economic growth. Based on a two-dimension dynamic system the geometric character and mechanism of J structure are studied, also the phase graphs with its condition are given. 2Using coupling slabs to tailor surface-acoustic-wave band structures in phononic crystals consisting of pillars attached to elastic substrates显示文摘The propagation of surface acoustic waves(SAWs) in two-dimensional phononic crystals(PnCs) with and without coupling-enhancement slabs was theoretically investigated using a three-dimensional finite element method.Different piezoelectric substrates,for example,lithium niobate(LiNbO_3),gallium nitride(GaN),and aluminium nitride(A1N),were taken into account.Compared to the PnCs without coupling-enhancement slabs,the coupling between each pillar and its nearest neighbor was largely enhanced in the presence of slabs.The bandwidth of the first directional band gap increased markedly compared with its initial value for the PnCs without a slab(within square symmetry).In addition,with increasing thicknesses of the slabs bonded between neighboring pillars,the first directional band-gap and second directional band gap of the PnCs tend to merge.Therefore,the structure with coupling-enhancement slabs can be used as an excellent electrical band elimination filter for most electro-SAW devices,offering a new strategy to realize chip-scale applications in electroacoustic signal processing,optoacoustic modulation,and even SAW microfluidic devices.Heng Zhang SiYuan Yu FuKang Liu Zhen Wang MingHui Lu XiaoBo Hu YanFeng Chen XianGang Xu 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,4:3
3Performance Analysis and Evaluation of a Supercritical CO2 Rankine Cycle Coupled with an Absorption Refrigeration Cycle显示文摘The utilization of sensible waste heat such as flue gas and industrial surplus heat is essential for energy saving. Supercritical CO2 power generation cycle is a promising way to be used in this field. In this paper, a new supercritical CO2 Rankine cycle coupled with an absorption refrigeration cycle is proposed, which consists of a reheating supercritical CO2 cycle, a mixed-effect Li Br-H2O absorption refrigeration cycle and solar subsystem including evacuated-tube collector and a hot water storage tank. The system has four variants according to the presence or absence of solar subsystem and net cooling energy output. The thermodynamic model of the proposed system was established and its performance was evaluated. The proposed system is able to realize cascade utilization of flue gas waste heat and efficient conversion of solar energy. It has much higher thermodynamic efficiency than the reference system(i.e., the conventional supercritical CO2 Brayton cycle). Taking combined power and cooling system driven by flue gas waste heat and solar energy as an example, its thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency are 20.37% and 54.18% respectively, compared with the 14.74% and 35.96% of the reference system. Energy Utilization Diagrams(EUD) are implemented to investigate the irreversible losses and variation of the exergy destruction in the energy conversion process. 5Water vapor image of snow storm process over southern Tibet显示文摘The northward movement of the storm over Bengal Bay was the main weather system producing heavy snow over southern Tibet in Nov. 1995. The effect of the Tibetan Plateau on the track of the storm over Bengal Bay and its cloud system was discussed by analyzing the GMS-5 water vapor image. 6Construction of Photoresponsive 3D Structures Based on Triphenylethylene Photochromic Building Blocks显示文摘Photoresponsive materials have been widely used in sensing,bioimaging,molecular switches,information storage,and encryption nowadays.Although a large amount of photoresponsive materials have been reported,the construction of these smart materials into precisely prescribed complex 3D geometries is rarely studied.Here we designed a novel photoresponsive material methyl methacrylate containing triphenylethylene(TrPEF_(2)-MA)that can be directly used for digital light processing(DLP)3D printing.Based on TrPEF_(2)-MA,a series of photoresponsive 3D structures with reversible color switching under ultraviolet/visible light irradiations were fabricated.These complex photoresponsive 3D structures show high resolutions(50μm),excellent repeatability(25 cycles without fatigue),and tunable saturate color degrees.Multicomponent DLP 3D printing processes were also carried out to demonstrate their great properties in information hiding and information-carrying properties.This design strategy for constructing photoresponsive 3D structures is attractive in the area of adaptive camouflage,information hiding,information storage,and flexible electronics.Xiayu Zhang Fukang Liu Beibei Du Rongjuan Huang Simin Zhang Yunfei He Hailan Wang Jingjing Cui Biao Zhang Tao Yu Wei Huang 2022Research2022,,4:1
7Robust Estimation for Poisson Integer-Valued GARCH Models Using a New Hybrid Loss显示文摘The Poisson integer-valued GARCH model is a popular tool in modeling time series of counts.The commonly used maximum likelihood estimator is strongly influenced by outliers,so there is a need to develop a robust M-estimator for this model.This paper has three aims.First,the authors propose a new loss function,which is a hybrid of the tri-weight loss for relatively small errors and the exponential squared loss for relatively large ones.Second,Mallows’quasi-likelihood estimator(MQLE)is proposed as an M-estimator and its existence,uniqueness,consistency and asymptotic normality are established.In addition,a data-adaptive algorithm for computing MQLE is given based on a datadriven selection of tuning parameters in the loss function.Third,simulation studies and analysis of a real example are conducted to illustrate the performance of the new estimator,and a comparison with existing estimators is made.LI Qi CHEN Huaping ZHU Fukang 2021Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2021,34,4:1
